Hi friends!
We have a little delayed devlog episode for you today. Is as important as previous parts, because it shows new UI design, officially implemented into Blocky Farm. Here you have 5 screenshots. We know it is not to much, but we will be grateful for any feedback. And... as always our development is delayed, but don't worry. Beta is coming within 2 weeks max. We will notify about that in a special info post. And... we will be presenting Blocky Farm in Krakow at Digital Dragons conference at 22-23th of May. If you can't visit this beautiful city, please keep fingers crossed for us! Great things are coming. Just stay with us! HUD

Update #41 - The Town
What did you do so long, guys? - You want to ask!
We are proud to present you a completely new Blocky Farm's feature - neighbor Town! The Town is located on a map with player's farm. In the town there is a different community - 5 different personas. Everyone of them can visit player's farm to ask for a small favor (gives a quest).
List of town citizens: 1) Frank - Town Major 2) Mary - Pet Patron 3) George - Jealous Farmer 4) Jerry - Friendly Businessman 5) Oscar - Weird Hipster
Everyone has its own house. Except of that there will be also Cinema and Casino. Just take a look :D

Update #44 - Animal Love, Treasure Chests and Collectible Cards
Hi friends!
This is probably the last devlog episode before beta and first soft launch. However, we have some interesting info about new game mechanics. Just take a look.
Animal love. Every animal can give a player from 0 to 5 hearts of love.

Player is rewarded with a Treasure Chest every 12 hours. The more animals love the player, the better chest is given.

Every chest contains coins, gems, several products and Collectible Cards.

Yes, there are Collectible Cards in Blocky Farm. Gadgets (Glasses, Hats), Animal Toys, and Building Upgrades are Collectible Cards.

Three levels of cards: common, rare and unique. Here you can see cards for upgrading a Bakery.

Every building upgrade gives a small bonus. From bonus to Experience to shorten production time. Every upgrade also change the building look. There are 3 levels of possible upgrades :)

Update #31
Blocky Farm - Update #31 - Digital Dragons conference summary 
Hello! As you know, we were showing Blocky Farm for the first time at Digital Dragons. Conference took place at 16-17th May in Kraków. Let me sum up these two great days :)
Our stand has been visited by many people during these two days. We were really surprised that press and media liked our game. We have great contacts with really big polish mobile games sites. We've got a lot of positive and really helpful feedback. Now we can really see what people liked and what they just didn’t see.
We are really happy with these two days even if our game is in pre-alpha stage. It gave us a lot of motivation and knowledge :)

Blocky Farm - Update #17 - Polishing: animals reacts to noise, gets flattened and others
Hello everyone after this long Christmas break. We missed you so much, but we are back and as always, we have a bunch of great features! This week we’ve done some simple polishing tasks.
Flattening animals
Animals gets temporarily flatten after collision with tractor or any other vehicle. Is it fun enough? We don’t want any kind of violence in our game.
Animals react to noise
User can destroy rock with dynamite, can chop down a tree with a saw - that makes noise. Animals are fragile creatures thus there is chance that they will get panic when they hear a sound.

Shaking trees after vehicle collision
It is simple and fun feature. Trees will shake every time player will collide with it. Do you like it? :)

Blocky Farm - Update #16 - Pathfinding, medicines production, camera focus & first animation!
Hello there everyone. We have some interesting features for you today. Before you start, remember that we are still using placeholders :D
Pathfinding
Our pets now are able to find paths among building, decorations and other obstacles. We’ve implemented this feature basing on the A* algorithm. Everytime the player builds something, graph with all possible paths is recalculated and saved in the memory. Thanks to that, our pets can find a shortest possible way to the toy or something like that.

Medicines production
As you probably know, animals sometimes become ill in Blocky Farm. To heal them, player needs medicines. So we’ve added a Herbalist where some healthy syrups can be produced. The important aspect of this feature is that we’ve created a special area on the map where some buildings stand - useful but not directly related to the farm. (More info in the next devlog)

Camera focus was fixed. Just that ;)
First animation
Our animals will be as much interactive as possible. To achieve that, we will need many animations. Just look on the first one. How do you like it?

Blocky Farm - Update #14 - Bridge, farm gate, global events and animal buildings models!
Hi everyone. We have some great features to share with you as always. We would be thankful for your feedback! :)
Bridge and unlocking new area
There are some inaccessible areas on the map that can be unlocked by completing some simple objectives. This week we’ve implemented destroyed bridge that player has to repair with some boards, ductapes, etc. Repaired bridge gives an access to the new area.
Farm gate
We’ve also added a farm gate that is not only a customisable decoration, but also display the farm’s name. Of course the player will be able to change it! :)

Global events
There are some global events in the Blocky Farm. For example, player can get 2x more experience/coins from completed orders with delivery truck. Events are temporary and last around 3-5 days. Everything is of course remotely parametrized.

Blocky Farm - Update #13 - Tractor prototype, buildings construction process and renders
Hi everyone. We have some great features to share with you as always. We would be thankful for your feedback! :)
Tractor prototype
One of our goals in BlockyFarm is to engage and entertain a player at every stage of gameplay. Going this way we decided to add a tractor that will be available to use later in the game. A player’s task will be to repair this vehicle and as a reward it will become our next tool useful for collecting crops. It will also be possible to drive on the whole map.
And remember: don’t drive drunk! ;)
Building construction process
The next big thing in Blocky Farm is improved, awesome building construction process. This process is separated into four stages: 1) The appearance of the scaffolding 2) The actual construction process - building is getting bigger and more visible 3) The disappearance of the scaffolding 4) Ribbon cutting How do you like it?

Blocky Farm - Update #12 - Loading screen, shaking trees, moving decorations and buildings
Hello everyone, here you have episode 12. of Blocky Farm devlog. Have a nice read! :)
Game loading screen
After remote game parameters implementation it was high time to add a game loading scene. It is as simple as that: game logo (don’t worry - it is just a temporary placeholder :D), some game hints and smooth progress bar animation.

Shaking fruit trees
You can remember that there are some kinds of fruit orchards in Blocky Farm. Every tree gives a fruit after finished production but it requires player’s interaction to collect. It needs just a single tap on the tree to shake it and dump the fruit on the ground. Then fruit is automatically collected to the barn.
Highlight decoration slots
Decoration slots is a great feature but now it is easier to find free slot for your decoration. Just look on the gif:

Moving buildings to other slots
We implemented this feature to give a player some freedom in placing buildings on the map. Of course every decoration will be moved with building too. As you can see, it works fine.

Update #11 - Game parameters, rebuilt shop & products collection HUD animation

Hello there everyone. We have some interesting features for you today. Just take a look:
Loading game parameters from remote bundles
The ability to load game parameters remotely is very important for us. It will allow us to balance key values without official updates. The flow of the process is to set proper value in our Google Sheet with parameters, then export it to JSON, generate Unity Asset Bundle with this data and put it on our server. Then game will try to download everytime someone will start to play. In case of no internet connection, locally saved data will be used.

Shop items with minimal farm level
Thanks to the previous feature we were able to add minimal farm level necessary to construct every building. It will help us to balance the game. After every farm level, player will get access to new buildings, etc. So now every item has one of three possible statuses:
unlocked
available to unlock but not unlocked
not available to unlock

Products collection & HUD animation
Item collecting process has now its dedicated interface animation. Just like that:
New renders
Barbecue Grill One of the production facilities in Blocky Farm is a Barbecue Grill. It will allow us to produce some tasty food. There are 3 levels of development below:
