Little known Nintendont2502 lore - I used to be *incredibly* into Skylanders. Like "I spent 300+ AUD on an Xbox 360, games and figures just to remake my collection after I lost it years ago"

It's still a WIP, but so far I have Spyro's Adventure, Giants, Swap Force, Trap Team and Superchargers (the only game in my collection I didn't have as a kid) + the corresponding portals on 360, Swap Force on Xbox One, roughly 153 figures, 6 location/item figures, 3 traps and 9 vehicles

I also managed to get my hands on a few variants (albeit unintentionally)

Legendary Bone Bash Roller Brawl (two of them!), Blades + Deja Vu

Dark Blast Zone, Wash Buckler, Slobber Tooth, Mega Ram Spyro + Ninja Stealth Elf

And Eggcited Thrillipede and Granite Crusher

And (and these are probably the rarest/coolest part of my collection) I even have the Dark + Light Trap Masters and location items, and the Light trap >:)

I think the breakdown of how many of each element + game I have is interesting as well:

I wouldn't mind getting back into collecting? I don't hate myself enough to try and get every single figure and variant, but I think maybe something like every SSA figure, or a gimmick character of each element (aka a Giant/Swap Force/Trap Master of each element) could be doable and pretty fun. The problem is collecting is hard as hell now because literally no one sells them anymore near me, so id have to go online and I haven't fallen that far yet

I do think the coolest thing to collect could be every swappable figure but again I'd have to go online and I don't want to spend too much money on this yk

I'd also love to get a trap of every element which actually wouldn't be too hard now that i think about it (except maybe like. The dark + Kaos traps? God I used to have the kaos trap, most of the giants and a few more variants and traps before my dad threw out my collection now I'm annoyed).

PART 13: thoughts over all

So..after ranking every skylander, no I will not do enemies or trapped bosses, I can kinda get a method with them

Magic are based on religions and the arcane

Undead are often dead or malicious

Life are based on flora and fauna

Fire are based on fire, magma, and explosives

Water are based on ice and marine life

Earth are based on rocks and Crystal's with a few rough boys

Air is based on flight, avians or weather

Tech is based on machinery, metal and demolition and man made things

Light is based on holy and benevolent forces

Dark is based conversely on lovecraftian and malicious things

I originally intended on looking at all scrapped skylanders too but I realized there were too many so I only covered the one that was most well known scrapped skylanders

I also noticed some of the sensei's in imaginators were really independent of their element

And another thing was that some skylanders were dropped. In the original generation they had 4 skylanders and then replaced one for giants then again for swap force but the ones they keeped were given ultimate versions that sometimes looked wholly different and then in superchargers some where brought back again ang given new armor.

Ranking the Skylanders Games in my own Opinion (EDIT: fuck you gotto)

1. Swap Force

Mostly because it's the very first one I've gotten and I have an emotional bond with it- that and it's a masterpiece. Roller Brawl came out in that game. Fight me.

2. SuperChargers

The story sucks, but I love the figures' designs. Bone Bash Roller Brawl also came out in this one, and I love her way too much. Animation was smooth, too.

3. Spyro's Adventure

The story was AWESOME, but for some reason, I never came back to it.

4. Giants

The very last game I got and I never actually finished it, but cool concept.

5. Trap Team

I loved Golden Queen, but the thought of capturing villains and using them as your own personal slaves seems wrong. And I know Kaos is a brat, but he seemed a little more bratty than usual.

6. Imaginators

Actual trash and unoriginal.

Hey Addicts!

Skylanders fans around the world are going crazy with the news of new figures and vehicles being released. With wave 4 Activision seems to have some surprises for us let’s take a look.

Wave 4 Vehicles

Hot Streak

Hot Streak is making it’s first appearance outside of the starter pack. This is a great opportunity to add this vehicle to your collection without buying a starter. For those of you that just want Astro Blast and Sun Runner you have your chance to do so as well. I think it would be better to get the racing pack personally so that you can get the trophy, but any way to save cash and still enjoy the game is the goal.

Looks like there are only 3 figures in this wave (4 if you count Happy/Eggcited Thrillipede).

This is a very weird release I say that because the only new figure is Bone Bash Roller Brawl. The other figures have already been released in the Regular Starter Pack and the Sky Racing Pack. Bone Bash will also be included in a Dual Pack with Tomb Buggy and a Triple Pack with Tomb Buggy and Splatter Splasher. Also making a Dual Pack appearance is Big Bubble Pop Fizz and the Soda Skimmer.

Wave 4 Variants

Once again we get more variants in this wave. This time around they are bronze/copper in color. Bone Bash and Tomb Buggy both get the shiny metallic makeover. So far a few of them have been sited. The image of BB Roller Brawl was posted by a store employee on the Skylanders Game page and Instagram user @smoldersmith posted the image of the Tomb Buggy variant.
