Paul T. Frankl (American, b. Austria, 1886–1958) Skyscraper Bookcase desk, c. 1928. California redwood, black lacquer.
Frankl arrived in New York from Berlin in 1914. He brought with him an outsider's fresh perspective and an enthusiasm for forging a uniquely American design aesthetic. He began as an architect and later switched to designing and painting fine art and furniture. In the years between the two world wars he, more than any other designer, helped shape the distinctive look of American modernism.
In the 1920s, he introduced his celebrated skyscraper style before turning to metal furnishings in the 1930s. Frankl opened Frankl Galleries on 48th Street, calling his company Skyscraper Furniture, which became an epicenter of American modernism, including modern textiles and wallpapers imported from Europe.

A Khmer stone sculpture and a Ming Dynasty painting adorn the upstairs Master Bedroom. The room also functions as a comfortable study.

Using the Sereniteapot to design some cozy reading rooms based off each nation in Teyvat. Going to use these are references to make video backgrounds (mostly static with some basic loop animations like the fireplace or steam rising from the teapot) for a series project I'm working on.
Look forward to some cozy Genshin storytime videos in the future! (I'll be reading through all the in-game literature, one story a week)

SHUT THE FUCK UP AND READ AFTER GOD.
OR ELSE.
I need more fucking content so everyone is required to spam my inbox with their thoughts, opinions, and ships so far after reading and getting caught up. I will be writing BL smut for this because I’m so fucking unwell right now. I just listened to depressing music for two hours and I haven’t been asleep since 3pm yesterday. I will not be asking politely.
