at this point I think at a personal level we need to look at the BDS movement carefully and try to implement it in our lives. your local cafe can make a starbucks quality caramel macchiato without co-signing genocide. learn how to pirate if you wanna watch Disney+ shows. lots of other shoe brands than puma! you've never needed a sodastream water in your life. instead of hungover mcdo beef grease fries, order some delicious latkes. and so on and so forth....... the power of the US dollar, and the euro/pound is quite unparalleled. so use it! make it publicly embarrassing to be seen with these brands, for influencers to advertise it, force their hand until they publicly cut ties with an apartheid regime, or watch their stock price plummet.

genuinely people who are like ‘well you can’t expect us to boycott everything in the economy everything supports israel at this point 🙄’ shatter my perspective every time because we really do live such radically different lives that i can barely even believe we’re on the same planet. and you just know these people are 100% using this excuse to not boycott a single thing.

The Palestinians in Gaza have officially been isolated and moved away from the Egyptian border which was their last hope. Another war crime and severe massacre of innocent families is beginning as we speak.

If you call the conflict between Israel and Palestine a "war" you've clearly not informed yourself enough and you're blind to whats happening. This isn't war. This is a genocide. Free Palestine.
What can you do to help? Boycotting is something you can definitely start off with. You can put your McDonald's and Starbucks aside, and if you physically can't live without that, your selfishness is showing. I hope blood tastes nice.

The casual way they can just order normal people to get out of their homes and leave??? The outrage, sanctions, boycotts and backlash this should receive from everyone around the world should be insane but governments are so chill???

My #1 advice for people moving out is to NOT buy nonstick cookware... not only is the lifespan of nonstick a MAXIMUM of 7 years (usually more like 2-5 years) but teflon, aka Polytetrafluoroethylene-- the plastic coating that makes the cookware nonstick, infuses microplastics into your food.
New cookware sets can cost hundreds of dollars so my advice is to look for 100% stainless steel cookware in thrift stores. Safer, cheaper, & instead of needing to replace every 2-7 years they can potentially last you the entire rest of your life AND they won't start shedding plastic into your food

the palenstine protests are actually going too far. i’m with the free palenstine movement, but people are just using this as an excuse to disrupt and ruin activities. people can’t even drink in a starbucks without people throwing bricks at them
i really do want to agree with ur statement here but comparing to what the Palestinians have to endure for the last 78 years and months, the amount of innocent people who had died, homes being destroyed, zero access to healthcare, food and shelters? im sure those people who sits pretty with starbucks drinks in their hands can handle having a couple of bricks being thrown at them. it’s not like their lives are being threatened by terrorists
