805 N Road - 1830s Family Home by Breezeshadow

"I was taking a walk on my work break one day and happened to pass by a beautiful brick house. A golden plaque on the front door indicated that the beauty had been made in the 1830s, and I thought it would make a good challenge to produce. So imagine my amusement and delight when I saw the door to nowhere on the outside, and then found a listing for the house online! What I didn't expect was for this house to take several days to produce, thanks to the fact that that outside door wasn't the only mystery door... This five-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom beauty has a walk-in basement (my thanks to Norn for their tutorial on how to do that), fireplaces for those cold nights, a galley kitchen, and a large addition in classy wood panelling for all of your Skilling needs. It also features so many hidden doors that I probably could have made a mystery out of it. Maybe if I get the urge.

Hannah and Watson the Basset Hounds

So, uh, hello. This is my first upload, so do forgive any mishaps, typos, curses upon the earth, etc. I grew up in a family full of animals. From birth there was a cat, then a dog, then two more cats... And then there were the Basset Hounds. TS3 offers plenty of possibilities for pets, but vanilla TS3 simply does not provide a good way to make Bassets. They're short, stocky, giant-pawed beasts with deep voices and an extreme love for food, sniffing, attention, food, sniffing, and did I mention food? Hannah and Watson came from different walks of life -- Hannah from a puppy mill farm, Watson from show stock. Hannah had a defective growth plate in one leg, went blind from glaucoma, and yet outlived Watson by two or three years. Go figure. Where Watson was energetic, Hannah was slothful. Where Hannah was a tracker, Watson was... Well, Watson. He was the beauty with no brains, she was the brains with not-show-worthy-beauty. I still miss them sometimes. And so I recreated them in TS3! Note that you will see some clipping/glitching due to the use of short leg sliders. Mostly, they will sink into objects, especially since they have such a long body in addition to the short legs. Generally it just makes for funny pictures; I provided a few examples in my uploads. Hannah is a touch taller, a lighter brown, and has a slightly higher voice (Bassets have booming voices that you'd expect from a Mastiff, not something that comes only to your knees  ). She is Friendly, Lazy, and Noisy. Watson has shorter ears, a stronger mix of markings, and a deep voice. He is Clueless, Playful, and Noisy. (Eyes in screenshots are Christy's eyes. Not required, but much better than the Default!) I will note that technically, neither of these meet the breed standard for Bassets, since they are based off of my childhood ones. Editing either one of them a touch would get you there, though! Sharing rules: Please do not claim as your own. If you use these guys as the base to make something else that you share, just link to me.   To install, just unzip into your SavedSims folder, typically located within Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\. These guys were created using CC, so I thank PharoahHound for making such fantastic pet CC. Now I can have true Bassets. Additional Credits: PharoahHound's Leg Sliders. WELL i suppose I'll take this ask as the last push to canonize it, but Breezeshadow is Scorchstar's sister! I've been wanting to make it canon for a while but i was sort of on the fence, considering Scorchstar is long-dead and I wasn't sure anyone would be interested. but they just look so similar, I have to. here's their sprites, Breezeshadow on the left, Scorchstar on the right.

Hello I am kind of fixating on FallenClan right now and keep finding random facts to collect about it. Here is a list of death-related tidbits about specific posts.

-The oldest post with a currently living cat pictured is Moon 63+64, which has Crowflame's birth.

>The next post with a living cat besides Crowflame is Moon 78, Evie's arrival. Everyone Crowflame knew during his kittenhood and apprenticehood is dead. Damn.

>Using this, we know that anyone who died before Moon 64 has no currently living cats who lived alongside them: Ivyleaf, Nick, Scorchstar, Sunwish, Rum Tum Tugger, Nettlestem, Morningbloom, and of course the two cats who died before the comic even started, Wildfang and Tawnyash, and the StarClan guide, Breezeshadow.

-The youngest post where everyone pictured is dead is Moon 121, showing Celia, Goldenstar, Stormsight, Otterslip, and Mudsplash.

-The oldest post where everyone pictured is currently alive is Moon 170, with Myrtleclaw, Juniperfoot, Sandsnap, Quailcall, and Nightgleam.

here she is! her name is Breezeshadow, she looks an awful lot like Scorchstar (suspicious.). she was 16 moons old when she died, a medicine cat, she has the childish trait, natural intuition, and was a great kitsitter. i also drew her once, so i'll add that drawing here rather than go back and find the post lol

OH SHIT um. let me do some math. bear with me bc im bad at it.

the clan is 156 moons old currently, and they met Lee on moon 18... currently, Lee is 185 moons old. so... he was 47 moons old?? i think??? the Starclan Guide (Breezeshadow) was 16 moons old when she died, and has been dead for 190 moons. she would have been dead for 52 moons at the time they met Lee.

so this was made a while ago, i actually put a lil research into this? not a lot, but i kinda liked the theory on the wiki page that Cipher = Xolotl. Ended up using that as minor inspiration for the design

for reference here's the orifinal note sketch for this

The colors of the bricks on the main design were based on Cipher while angry - in general, i wanted to have a design that had aspects from the true source materal (Cipher,) Xolotl, and Breeze. Think I did pretty well imo
