Vanilla should be one too!!! This pound cake is a recipe where you should definitely pull out your beloved tiny bottle of vanilla. I usually don't use vanilla in most recipes because it's extremely overpriced. I mean $7 per bottle is just too much! Unless a recipe is specifically vanilla flavoured or calls for a big amount of vanilla extract, I choose to leave out that tiny teaspoon of vanilla you can't taste. In my kitchen tofu is usually reserved for dinner...you'll never believe it'll create this cake! Trust me, silken tofu and vanilla are worth it for this cake.
