Thinking about how Hunter was confirmed to be an artist in the finale with a talent for wood carving and now I really think most of the little sculptures on his shelf are ones he made himself, including the Remy doll. The idea of Golden Guard Hunter designing, carving and painting the silliest happiest little fellow just for fun is very cute to me.

SHE IS LAYING ON IT! THE QUEEN APPROVES! #actually allow me to gush about her she's such a polite little beast #i had to put her new collar on #and she 1) came when called 2) jumped onto the stool and sat when asked 3) stayed perfectly and Patiently! still as i put the collar on #AND adjusted it! #she didn't complain or squirm one bit! #she let it happen and when i let go she stayed put and politely waited for a treat (or two! we indulge here!) #she looks so fancy... #i still dont know what happened to her other collar! the pendant was so nice! #now she has a shitty fish one </3 #but her collar is a lovely blue with gold sun/moons on it #i thought it would compliment her lovely white & caramel fur! i was Correct!

every time i go to the craft store they have tiny seasonal chairs that are JUST the right size for one of my clown dolls, but every single time I'm too much of a coward (or too cheap) to buy one

so apparently the New Thing to be mad about on tiktok is that... singers... use pitch-correction software.... in their self-promotional videos....... in order to produce clean, professional quality music........ to promote themselves as musicians........

(but they'll take your head off if you happen to mention that their favourite professional singers use a lot more than that)

anyway honestly I just don't get it? like? okay so they used some pitch correction? they used a piece of software to dampen the background noise so their music/vocals was the focus? but if they were putting out scratchy, overcrowded videos, people would shriek that they need to be "more professional" like? make it make sense?

also? lipsyncing??? literally not a fucking problem unless they're stealing someone else's vocals to pass off as their own. oh wow someone lipsynced on the lipsyncing app! terrifying!

honestly people on tiktok will get so fucking enraged about things that DO NOT MATTER and its so fucking confusing to me like??? mkay? how is any of this a problem? they still have a banging voice, what difference does it make that they used some editing to make it clearer? there are some insanely talented musicians and vocalists on tiktok rn and their pages are just being overrun with so much aggressive hate about some pitch-correction. can't y'all just take a breath and enjoy some nice music? aren't y'all just exhausted?

Got new bookshelves and they finally came in today. I am okay with putting them together myself, as I've put together lots of varied types of furniture before.

But man if the frustration of having the holes lined up and the screw doesn't want to go in and unscrewing ones you've already put in to triple check that the holes are lined up and now the ones you unscrewed have to be redone
