Happy Storyteller Saturday! How would you crew spend an ideal vacation?

Better late than never! Happy STS! Answering and then reblogging to my writeblr @irisjaye.

CHARLIE

Charlie’s ideal vacation is somewhere far and wildly different from her hometown. She loves bustling cities over nature escapes; the more advanced/modern/progressive, the better. She’d try all the tours and popular travel destinations, try everything at least once, and buy local crafts as souvenirs. 

FLAURA

Flaura vacations like royalty. She wants exclusive activities, rare items as souvenirs, and deeply cultural events to attend. She does enjoy the occasional wilderness trip, if she must. You meant a fully-equipped luxury spa resort in the countryside, right?

ARGO

Argo’s ideal vacation is a totally immersive backpacking trip. He tries to live like a local immediately, avoids packaged tours and would rather wander around the foreign place and “follow the energy,” whatever he means by that. He loves cities and countrysides in equal measure.

ELYAS

Elyas prefers the actual trip over the destination: ships, road trips, what have you. He’s a curious fellow, although very reserved, so he’ll only leave his shell (a.k.a. his private rented room) for the really interesting things. Otherwise, he’s happy to stay indoors, get room service, and only walk around town when it’s dark and less busy.
