Sk8 the Infinity Headcanons

No one’s name in Miya’s phone is their actual name: Reki is Dollar Store Ariel, Langa is Elsa’s Lost Snowman, Shadow is Mister Lonely, and of course Cherry and Joe are Mommy and Daddy

The kids get discounts at Joe’s restaurant since they’re there so much

Cherry helps Langa with his Japanese from time to time (Langa’s teachers have been noticing more and more improvement)

Cherry can’t figure out why everyone keeps calling him Pinkie Pie, if anything his hair is more reminiscent of Fluttershy’s

After finding out Joe studied in Italy, Reki began to ask him about it (How different is the time zone? Was anyone with you or did you travel alone? Are the cafés as good as they look online? Was there a bad language barrier? Did you go to an opera? Etc.) Joe plans to surprise Reki with a trip to Italy when he graduates.

It took Langa a month to remember everyone’s names. Reki was ‘the energetic one’, Shadow was ‘flower clown’, Miya was ‘Meowth from Pokémon’, Joe was ‘the guy who always forgets his shirt’, and Cherry was ‘the one with pink hair who keeps ditching his glasses’.

They’re often mistaken as a family whenever they hang out, mainly because the kids are often referred to as “the kids” (and a few times “our kids” when they lost said kids in the shopping center).

Some people at S have begun to speculate if Joe and Cherry had adopted Reki, Langa, and Miya when the kids first got to S. They view Reki as taking after Joe the most and Miya as taking after Cherry the most. Langa is viewed as somewhere in-between but is leaning slightly more towards taking after Cherry. (Both Joe and Cherry are well aware of the rumors but have said nothing, Miya knows and plays into it, Reki and Langa have been too focused on skating and each other to notice)

decided today is the day i spam post so here's random cookie run hcs

espresso has muscle problems and back issues because he sits like a shrimp i REFUSE to be challenged on that

everyone likes their soft sweetheart herb but mine is. a feral creature from hell. he's still a sweetie but he bullies people as a love language

affogato has obnoxiously pointy upper fangs and scales that are mostly along their spine and shoulders. because i took caramel calling them a snake literally

madeleine uses like 12 hair care products on his hair. espresso just uses 3in1 because he doesn't have time for allat he has work to do dammit

cherry blossom and herb are an underrated couple i find them so funny. especially with my feral variation of herb. crazy x crazier

herb chews their fingernails,, also uses she/he/they prns because they literally couldn't care less. you could use fart as a pronoun and they'd be like "yeah lol"

herb asks existential questions to nobody in particular at three in the morning. what makes this even better is that he lives with clover so imagine going down the hall after getting some toast and yo homie says "hey man... what if we're characters in a video game"

knight is originally from the vanilla kingdom so he's used to cold weather due to the autumn/winters in the pvk being cold and snowy. on the contrary mousse and princess both HATE cold weather and have to be dragged outside. (knight isn't complaining tho, free cuddles)

eclair once dove under the sea with candy diver and almost got eaten by squid ink when he tried to steal treasure from their cave

herb has white lilys trait of being able to be sniffed out for MILES, except instead of white lilies it's matcha tea

adding on, white lily's scent is slightly toxic (since white lilies are poisonous) and if you breathe it in for a certain amount of time you can get really sick

UPDATE I GOT NEW ONES

white lily HATES mornings. she always tries to sleep in and refuses to get out of bed until ten in the morning

dark cacao once proposed to golden cheese with a ring pop when they were like five. she said no

when espresso does sleep (which is incredibly rare) he can sleep for DAYS on end without waking up once. madeleine always has to come make sure he's even breathing. he's fine, he's just out like a light

herb has a very odd fascination with mythical creatures

My cats been missing for three days, I've had her since I was 11 and she is REALLY important to me(shes also never been gone this long). We just got a ton of snow, im worried for her and I overheard my parents saying they think our neighbor did something to her. Can I request Sk8 characters comforting their S/O in a scenario like that?

Fandom: Sk8 the Infinity

Characters: Reki Kyan, Langa Hasegawa, Miya Chinen, Kojiro Nanjo, Kaoru Sakurayahiki x gn! Reader

Reki is probably one of the best people to be around if you want your mind taken off the situation. He’s good at listening as well if you want to talk but his real talent lies in distracting you.

Having said that, he’s very adaptable so if you prefer being comforted in a different way, he can change his methods to suit you.

If you feel like talking or just need comfort, Reki gives fantastic hugs. He’ll sway gently side to side and rub your back or head.

If you want to go out and help look for your cat, he’ll tag along. That way he’s helping but is also with you for support.

Of course, he’d also take his skateboard out and skate around town looking for your missing fur friend on his own. But his first priority is making sure you’re okay.

Langa is the best listener out of everyone here. If you want to talk about what's happening or reminisce about good times with your furry friend, he's there to lend an ear.

Much like Reki, he's going to grab his skateboard and go around town trying to find any clues as to where your cat's gone.

He'll ask around at S as well. While Reki might have some reservations about going up to a random person at S and asking if they've seen a cat around, Langa does have the same qualms.

Langa's not the best with physical touch but if you want hugs or any other form of physical comfort, he'll do his best.

All in all, he'll be a more quiet supporter in this situation. He'll do what he can to help but he's a lot more subtle than some of the others.

Oh, Miya is finding your cat and discovering every detail of what happened. He’s starting a search on every social media platform he has and is ready to take it to the news if need be.

A missing cat is no joke to someone who's favourite animals are felines so Miya is right there with you in missing your furry friend.

He's probably very attached to your cat as well so he's going to do whatever he can to get it back. If that means he has to call in some favours thanks to his standing and fame, he'll do just that.

Miya's not great with words or physical affections but if that's what you want to help you deal with the situation, he'll do his best.

If he gets to choose how to comfort you, he's going to just be in your presence. He may not be great with words or physical comfort but he's got a reasonably soothing presence.

Joe is taking you back to the restaurant, making you your favourite dish, calling Cherry so he can give you company, and setting out to search for your cat.

He’d be there in person but doing nothing while someone he cares about is hurting is hard for him, especially if he knows there are things he can do to help.

Joe will also print out missing flyers and stick them up all over town, keeping a few at the restaurant. Every customer he servs, he’ll ask if they’ve seen your furry friend (if they can give him any information, he’s offering a free dessert).

If you do particularly want his company, Joe will stay with you and make calls to a bunch of his connections from S so they can start the search.

He’s good at comforting people, especially if they want someone to talk to, either about the situation or about something else entirely. He’s a good listener and will respond at the right moments with the right words.

Cherry is the perfect combination of Joe and Miya: he's going to be hands on with helping to find your cat but he's going online as well.

He's also got more resources than Miya so he'll be sending out drones as well to scout the city in search of your cat.

He's also going to call in help from Joe. He knows that, as many connections as he has, his old friend has a lot of different connections that may also be able to help.

Because he can search remotely, Cherry will be able to spend a lot more time with you than the others.

He's very adaptable in comforting you so whether you want physical comfort, kind words, a good listener, or just someone to be with, he's got it covered.

Golden Cheese Cookie is the shortest of all the Ancients.

Butter Roll Cookie and Butter Pretzel Cookie (from Ovenbreak) are estranged siblings.

Cream Unicorn Cookie wears leg warmers to help disguise their hooves.

Wildberry Cookie and Raspberry Cookie are like siblings to one another.

Oyster Cookie is secretly a lesbian, and feels very conflicted about it.

Mala Sauce Cookie and Capsaicin Cookie are also like siblings to one another.

Cherry Blossom Cookie and Cherry Cookie live in a renovated van, and started traveling after their parents died.

Financier Cookie wants to adopt a child someday.

Raspberry Cookie is very extroverted and has a lot of friends.

Once in a while the Cookies of Darkness will have a group self-care day, and it’s the only day when they sort of get along.

Royal Margarine Cookie once encountered Kumiho Cookie, and that meeting quickly led to an intense out-rizzing competition.

When Cotton Cookie dies, she will turn into a frost spirit and get to travel the world with her best friend for all eternity.

Welcome to Txampaytxurtel Island, the tranquil pearl of the pacific. The people from this island are known for their hospitality and warmness towards other clans and sky people so count yourself as their family member already.

This island has their own unique features, culture and activities such as surfing. The waves are so good for surfing and everyone also have surfing competitions during Naha festival.

Txurtelan people are also known for their unique reptile anatomy, evolved for surviving in both land and marine life. Also, I forgot to mention; their skin produce mucus as a defense mechanism. The mucus helps to keep their skin moist, aids in respiration through their skin. Additionally, it can also help in maintaining electrolyte balance and thermal regulation.

This fanclan is an alternative universe for the anime called "Sk8 the infinity" so these clans, culture and the island itself are based on Okinawa island in real life. So that's why characters have no specific hair, eye colour or height measurement.

I couldn't finish character designs so I have to put them in another post next time.

Headcanon that Cherry was the one who designed the camera/video system for S.

I noticed in episode five when the cops show up, the megascreen immediately switches to its security code and security lock. Just hearing the sirens shuts everything down.

Now, I know Adam is rich enough to afford anyone to make the codes for that system, and he also has enough to pay them to stay silent. However, by getting Cherry to create it, it keeps everything within the S community and less likely to leave a money trail as both Adam and Cherry make strides to keep their S and personal lives separate.

It also helps that he knows Cherry is a genius, and knows he’s prideful enough in his work to do a stellar job, especially for community hes been a major part of for so long.

Some extra evidence for this is that in episode six, when Carla counts down to their beef, the horn sound she makes is the same as when they’re at S.

@mondengel2 Remember that post about Ichigo keeping within him remnants of the Reiatsu of the captains permanently, because it's way stronger, therefore becoming attached to his own Reiatsu?

Remember we brainstormed about all the funny ways Byakuya could discover that it's not only Senbonzakura that won't hurt Ichigo?

Well...

What if the reverse is also true?

What if Zangetsu becomes unable to attack the other Captains?

And that is the reason (in my series...) that Zaraki ends up by retiring and giving the title of Kenpachi to get Ichigo.

Because they could even try to fight eachother, but Zangetsu and Nozarashi straight up refuse to attack one another!

a great thing about sk8 the infinity is that it is just so clear who the ships are, so I never see any issues of ship wars, arguing about “no that ship can’t happen! it makes no sense!” because bitch we already know that reki and langa are the friends to lovers trope, and cherry and joe are an old married couple and no one can deny it.

this fandom is just so nice to be in. i’ve barely seen any negativity and when I have it’s always been about adam lmao. it’s awesome to just search sk8 and see all sorts of happy vibes, cute fanart, headcanons, etc for the boys (including miya and shadow, im not forgetting y’all!) and it’s just such a good time.

Back at it again!!

2nd part to showing some of my ships, so today its my Kingdom Exclusive ships!! Now some should be more familiar.

Also throwing this out there for honestly no reason, I'm prefectly okay if you ship anything different from what I show here. These are all MY ships. If you ship something else, as long as its not-toxic and not Proship, I'm bound to be okay with it.

With that in mind, let's go.

Polychampions: Even after their event, I can't help but love this trio!! Their dynamic is so funny. I can imagine their hugging sessions are the best, especially with Capsaicin being there. They all keep an eye of each other, even dealing with their own issues.

CaviOyster: My most written about ship!! Sea cookies got to stick together, after all!! It tickles me that it was these two who stood up to Custard and the others about the treatment of the Creme Republic. They're Clotted Cream's uncle and aunt figures.

DarkCherryWolf: I couldn't decide werether I liked Darkwolf or Cherrywolf more, so I slapped them together. I imagine Choco already knew of Werewolf even when he left the COD, so they started to hang out more. Then later Choco was introduced to Blossom. Shenangians happen and now, they're all dating. and thanks to the idea @analogical-spacegays gave me, they are all now parents to the squirrel trio Roll Cake, Pancake , and Pinecone.

PureHolly: A comfort ship of mine. Loving parents of Royalberry even the two are in separated kingdoms. PV feels awful about all the hardships Holly went after his sacrifice, and constantly does his best to be there for her. Everytime they meet up, Holly engulfs the shorter man in a big hug. PV doesnt have the heart to stop her, plus he enjoys it,

AlmondLatte: A classic, but a good one, Their banter during the Light the Beacons story is so funny. I love the found family potential between them, plus Walnut and Creampuff. Latte would be a loving stepmom to Walnut.

ClottedClover: A rarepair!! Noble x Fairy/Elf vibes. With the idea of Clover being White Lily's son, that's going to be an AWKWARD reveal. Its a secret relationship the Consul is hiding from his father. Clover often would send Clotted songs he's written for him or 4-leaf clovers on his travels. One day, Clotted wishes to accompany.

RaspRye: This comes from me rewatching the scenes of Jedidiah and Octavius from all 3 Night at the Museum movies ( I know I'm old) and imagining them as these two. It works. Rye is always on the move from bounty hunting, so she's always stopping by House Raspberry to pay Raspberry a visit.

MalaFrost: Hot and cold gfs!! They give me SU Ruby and Sapphire vibes. How they meet is where Mala was given a dare to survive in the coldest region for the week (as you do), and was found by Frost Queen after Mala almost frioze to death. Of course Forst took care of her and restored her to full health, bue expected her to leave due cookies usually being scared by her and her powers. Istead , Mala stuck around and tries to court her, without much avail. One day, Frost decides to take up her offer. In short, Frost fell HARD in love at Mala's silliness and her good heart, along with impressed how well she was as a chieftain. They've been dating ever since.

WildChip: Last, but definitely not least, these two dorks. I know a lot of WildChip lovers can understand why I love this ship. Also, their bond also reminds me of Patroclus and Achilles from Greek mythology. I know they got their other's back, even when in danger.

That's all 9!! My next one will be mwcrossover ships, as I ship two characters One from Ovenbreak, and One from Kingdom. It might be a bit shorter than this, but we'll how it goes.

I have two sk8 headcanons for you but this one is like totally in my head rn-

HERE’S THE DEAL-

I think Miya is a HELLA popular twitch streamer. He’s got an online alias (something to do with cats methinks) and he’s told NOBODY.

HOWEVER COMMA, Joe found him in his recommended streamers one day and INSTANTLY recognized his voice.

So, him and Cherry like to watch his streams together on the TV. They use fake accounts and take turns gifting subscribers and sending donations just so they can hear how adorably surprised he gets.

I can’t WAIT to see where you go with this 😭🤭

KLJRKJEKJRKJEKJRJKE STREAMER MIYA! He'd be so popular for sure!!! And Joe and Cherry being supportive parents is my literal life blood akljreakjrjaerkjaejk I've gotcha covered, Ducky! :D

“What’s up everybody- it’s your boy Neko! Welcome to the stream!”

Joe wasn’t much of a stream watcher. Really, he wasn’t much of a anything watcher- preferring things that kept his hands and eyes focused at all times over simply sitting and watching.

Cherry on the other hand enjoyed stream watching, sitting back with a cup of tea as his phone speakers blared whatever creator he was supporting that day. Usually the streams consisted of quiet ASMR type of videos or soft commentary.

Not only was this guy none of those- but he was freaking MIYA!

“Is that-” Joe whirled around, eyes wide as Cherry gaped at the screen. The person was faceless, but the voice was without a doubt him.

“I had no idea Miya was streaming.” Cherry looked closer, humming. “He’s got quite the following.”

“Yeah…” Abandoning the dishes he was cleaning, he came around the table, squishing in next to his husband as they watched Miya do this thing. It became pretty clear why he was so popular- the game he was playing looked outrageously fun, and the way he spoke and interacted with his fan base was beyond lovable.

Of course- Joe was utterly biased about that last part, but whatever.

“Hmm..” Cherry hummed after a bit before picking up his phone, tapping away. Seconds later, a notification popped up on Miya’s stream.

“Oh-Whoa! Holy- thank you so much, RoseColoredInk! I appreciate it!” Miya sounded astonished at the large donation, flustered and pleased. Cherry nodded in satisfaction.

“RoseColoredInk?” Joe questioned, earning a light swat.

“Can’t use my real alias, can I? He’d know it’s me.”

“I’m getting him next- you damn showoff.” Joe kissed his brow before returning to the dishes, gesturing to the nearest bluetooth speaker as he did.

"Wow-Miya! You finally got your dream board!" Reki cheered, gaping next to Langa as the smaller boy rolled up, new board beneath his feet. "How'd that happen?"

"Oh- I have my ways." Miya shrugged, kicking it up so he could show off the cat motif design along the bottom to his friends. "You could say it was...a gift of sorts."

A few paces away, Cherry and Joe shared a secret smile.

A gift indeed.
