John was just a bit too busy trying to figure out if this guy was a ghost or the latest in strange aura feeling messengers that had some business with him that was either very important, something he forgot about, or a bit of both. With his luck and how many beers he had been intending on throwing back? Probably both.

A glance was given to the pub, a mild hint of hopefulness before he eventually relented with a sigh. “Fine, fine, probably not time for a joke anyways… ‘least you could do is pretend that had a very clever punchline to it, aye?”

Thank you so much for this.

I reached nine-hundred followers last night. Nine-hundred. Wow. Honestly? I really, GENUINELY don’t know how to respond in a way that will offer it any kind of justice. On the six-month anniversary of the blog being made, as well. 

The last month has been one of the roughest of my life, given my health, so to see that people have stuck around, people still want to write with my Egon, people actually think the utter shite I post here is of any good...trust me, it’ll mean so much more than you’ll ever know. From me, and from Egon, thank you.

So, in the spirit of dragging everyone back to the past, I’m going to be doing my second follow forever. I’ll try my utmost to remember every single person that has had an impact on this blog, but there are SO MANY names to mention, so if yours is not here, PLEASE do not take it personally. But alas, when one owed an unfortunate favor to a rather grouse angel who was likely betting on this meeting being his unfortunate demise, it was probably at least the simpler thing he could do.

       He was not one often prone to giving in to fear -- it was hard to believe one could even be afraid, when one had already lost almost all that they had held dear -- but his role as guardian of the children of his once Padawan had left just enough semblance of fear in him that he could feel it tighten in his chest and trickle in icy droplets down his spine as he set his eyes on the all too familiar armor.   A hand shifted, dragging the hood of his cloak forward even as he slunk backwards into the shadows in the marketplace on Tatooine, wary gaze following the bounty hunter’s movements to see where they would take him.

Elsa nervously fidgets with the napkin in her lap. She tries to focus on the music playing softly, the ambiance, but her eyes keep returning to the front door. Every time it opens she holds her breath.

She’s never felt so anxious about a dinner before. Her stomach felt like it was full of butterflies and as the hour grows later she starts to worry that he isn’t going to walk through those doors after all.
