Might be obvi but is shin hye sun your favorite actress?

lmao shes probably joint first with Gong Hyojin, but I seriously like just about everyone (with a few obvious exceptions). Aside from these two my main go-to reliable actresses are:

Kim Seulgi- where is your lead role its 2020 already and no I mean a proper full length drama, why is she always the comedic ‘unpretty’ sidekick its getting old.

Seo Yeji- she did around 70% of the acting in Moorim School the rest was done by Jung Eugene (another fave who needs a lead role no more jealous second lead roles thanks). Oh and of course in Save Me but I’m still not emotionally ready to talk about this one.

Lee Chungah- I think she was one of my first favourite actresses since FBRS but then that was her last lead role 9yrs ago. Although she’s still doing amazing in side roles and cameos. I screamed internally when she turned up in BIMFL.

Soo Ae- I have not seen this woman since Sweet Stranger was it really that bad lmao I actually enjoyed it. But yh a solid actress I just need to know where she disappeared to.

Kim Seohyung- Currently everyone’s favourite actress for good reason and I’m glad she’s grabbing roles left right and centre. Before SKY Castle I saw her in Eulachacha Waikiki when her snot fell into Lee Yikyung’s mouth and honestly no scene beats it to this day.

Uhm Jiwon- She’s been in so many iconic movies it’s impossible to choose a favourite, but The Cursed is the first drama I’ve seen of hers and it’s nice seeing her go crazy for 2hrs every week. Watch The Cursed for nightmares guys :)

Kim Mikyung- the potato of acting- bear with me- she’s got the range and she just makes everything more filling/deep. Even if she only ever plays mum roles (with the exception of hacker lady in Healer) she still makes the most interesting mum every time. Wishful thinking but I’d like to see her as the main character in a non-mum role though.

Special Mention: Jeon Miseon- another brilliant actress that sadly only got to play the mum or evil rich lady from what I’ve watched. She was in Memories of Murder aka the first kmovie I watched, and consistently pulled off her roles well up until her final piece He is Psychometric, I miss her so much.

Per usual, no more than 3 mentions in each category (with rare exceptions). I haven’t seen White Christmas starring sooo many models-turned-actors, 49 days (because it seems like there is no happy ending) and Warrior Baek DongSoo (you can actually see even from promotional stuff how Ji ChangWook have changed in terms of the way his face looks). Even though The Greatest Love has so many nice actors I could not finished it as I was bored as heck. I was optimistic for Me Too, Flower because of Yoon ShiYoon but.. Honestly, I just think he tends to pick wrong projects. I do hope his next drama (The Best Hit) will be a big success as he is a very good actor. Secret Garden is a big winner of 2011! Wonderful drama. I cannot believe Lee JongSuk, Yoo InNa, Kim SooHyun just started to rise to fame!!! It seems like they are in this industry forever. I loved seeing JaeJoong regularly on my screen hehehe 2011 was rich in terms of great OST.
