So, if you've been following me for a while, you might remember this unspecified naruto character that I have a feud going on with. While I was rewatching the Chunin exams arc 2022/23, I spotted this old fuck:

If you remember this time period of me posting, you might also know that I was quite pissed at him. He didn't do anything, but why is this minimum fourty year old fuck here??? That's not a shinobi, that's a distinguished gentleman. Get him out of the army. My man literally has his hitai-ate tied in a bow?? Hello??

But. It gets crazier.

you might think that this is a regular screenshot of mr.bow but NO! This is him still sitting in the exams room after the tenth question was asked. BOW MAN PASSED THE THEORETICAL CHUNIN EXAMS. That's crazy! This man probably was in the forest of death, IN THAT OUTFIT.

And if you thought that was all. Here's my new discovery-

Chapter 21: The Morning Of The Bishop Exam

The old men in the Imperial Army are freaking out about the ships crashing in the 7th District, everyone blaming Ayanami for it. A higher up tells them to shut up and informs Katsuragi (Ayanami's Subordinate whose name I keep forgetting) that he's a good caretaker. Katsuragi reveals that the Eye of Mikhail was involved in the crashes. After years of searching, they have found it. Oh, and the Pope wants to meet the person who was able to wield it. To make sure he's an appropriate king of Raggs, of course. Everyone freaks out about the Pope possibly restoring the kingdom of Raggs, noting that at the present, The Emperor and The Pope hold the exact same amount of power. However, if the Empire held both the Eye of Raphael and the Eye Of Mikhail, the Pope's power will be threatened. So even if they have both Eyes, they're still in a bit of trouble as long as there are eyes and ears on them. They gotta do something...to protect the Empire.

Meanwhile, at the church, Haruken has to explain to Teito what a balloon is. When a kid loses his, Teito saves it but Goomba Stomps some weird dude while doing it. The bishop he landed on gets up, pissed that his fortune was destroyed, but Frau steps in to stop him from fighting Teito. Frau addresses him as Lance, who calls Frau his rival. When Castor and Labrador show up, he greets Castor warmly but Castor doesn't return the sentiment. He gives everyone souvenirs and Teito announces at the end that he is going to take the exam with Haruken.

At the exam, some old man bumps into them. Turns out this is his 40th crack at the exam. Pointing at Pet!Mikage on Teito's shoulder, he calls him a "Fyulong Child".

The exam is started by Bishop Lance and Teito comes to a troubling revelation when the chapter ends: his Zaiphon doesn't work.

I find it fascinating how gaara was straight up just allowed to kill people in the chunin exams with no consequences for it or it really being mentioned beyond team 8 having flashbacks to it. Wouldn't you think an exam that is fostering future chunins would have more precautions or security ?? i know after the third war they implicated an age limit but they didn't seem to do much else as murders were still happening DURING the exams.

Also, how neji was just allowed to cast out violent threats and declare that he was going to end up killing naruto. I know with the hinata fight he was stopped but the fact he was even allowed to go as far as initiating the attack is insane. I just find it interesting that despite how much konoha praise kishimoto implements into the manga there's still so many flaws to it, especially surrounding their examinations that included traumatised child soldiers. You'd think that they would have more than one examiner during these sections and maybe some anbu soldiers patrolling the area to ensure nobody broke any rules. But, the most they had was during a written test so nobody would 'cheat' and not the one that involved a forest known for death.

Anyways i think neji and gaara should of destroyed konoha with their combined murderous intent

People need to learn to hate a character without coming up with the most BS excuses.

You cannot actually tell me Naruto learned more from Jiraiya, or Sasuke learned more from Orochimaru than they did from Kakashi

Jiraiya taught Naruto Rasagan and Summoning.

All we see Sasuke get from Orochimaru is his summons, and he also has an eagle summon so clearly he couldn’t even just have only the snakes to connect him to his ‘master’

Meanwhile, Kakashi taught Naruto chakra nature, how to use his shadow clones, Basic Chakra control, is stated to have improved all three of his students exponentially before the chunin exams, and of course he taught all three of his students the importance of teamwork and protecting their friends over the mission. A lesson that Naruto and Sasuke both take to heart in their own way.

He taught Sasuke the chidori, which Sasuke evolved into other types of chidori style jutsu’s. He also helped him improve his taijutsu so much in a month that Gai, the Taijutsu master, was impressed and concerned about the training Kakashi put him under for that month.

Sakura is the only one who we can confidently say learned more from her master, and Kakashi can’t teach medical ninjitsu (he only knows basic medical ninjitsu and that’s only after the way) and states himself he’s not the best at teaching chakra control (hence why he asked Ebisu to help Naruto with that during the month between chunin exam fights)

Hate Kakashi all you want but calling him a ‘Bad Sensei’ is factually incorrect for what we see. Even when he screws up it’s not out of malice or thinking he just knows better. He’s genuinely trying to help his students and just screws up.

It happens.

#wanna talk about how much Care the Sensei put into their students? #mistakes aside Kakashi clearly cared about every single one of his students #he cheered Naruto on and was proud of him in his chunin exam fights #he assured Sasuke that he would protect him in the land of waves arc when he saw him freaking out #he tried to comfort Sakura when she was upset about Naruto and Sasuke fighting #he tried to reach out to Sasuke when he saw him crumbling after his interaction with Itachi #he was always there to put Naruto back and get him to try and think things through as well as being determined to protect him #his first action when he came back to life after Pein’s attack was to find Naruto and make sure he was alright #when he realized Sakura was going after sasuke to try and kill him he chased after her to try and stop her #and when he realized a fight was going to happen he tried to take the burden of facing Sasuke off of Sakura’s shoulders #like did he do everything right? #no! #no one can #but he cared and he tried and he had everything stacked against him and his students #and he STILL fought tooth and nail for them because he loved them

#boruto #metal lee #backstory - due to a technicality Metal is also a Cloud citizen under an treaty between the Leaf and the Cloud #and therefore can be called into duty in either village #typically he stays in the Hidden Leaf since that’s where his team is and where most of his ‘friends’ are #but after the events of the Funato Arc #Metal doesn’t handle his grief well and the people around him also don’t handle it very well #so he takes his dad up on the option to go spend some time in his other village #which does him some good but also puts some intense thoughts into his head #so he dyes his jumpsuits black in the bathtub #and takes his training more serious than ever #and he goes back to the chunin exams for the third time #under the expectation that it will be his last chunin exam one way or another
