3. What fandoms do you write for?

Fantastic Beasts, Hannibal (TV), Pokémon, and Dr. Strange (Movie).

Hannibal numbers in the most, and there are only one each of Pokémon and Dr. Strange. Really into Hannibal right now. I love writing the Murder Husbands!

One of my FB ones is also slotted into Harry Potter, since it was from Luna's point of view.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

Autumnal (Hannibal TV)- 110

A Hades & Persephone based story with Will being the Queen of the Underworld and returning home on the autumnal equinox.

His Shadow Suspended on Dust (Hannibal TV)- 74

A post-fall omega verse where Jack catches up with Will and Hannibal a few years later, and he and Will talk.

Estivel (Hannibal TV)- 41

The prequel to Autumnal, with Will and Hannibal's courtship.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I was a bit intimidated at first to respond, to be honest, then I thought too much time had passed for a bit. But I respond to almost all of them now (do my best to answer in a different language if they commented in it).

I generally thank everyone for their comment, because I have not received any bad ones yet, and it means a lot to me that they took the time to let me know they enjoyed it. Haven't gotten a lot yet, but I am willing to answer any questions or engage in any nerdy conversations about the fandom.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Uh... That one was a bit hard, but I would have to say a Fantastic Beasts story I wrote about Percival Graves called No Man in the Mirror. It's a story where Graves was found and rescued at some point, and feeling like he doesn't exist anymore.

Or another Percival Graves one called Haven't Been the Same (Since I Expired) where Graves is totally erased... By his own actions and choice (can't reveal any more without spoiling it). That one might be more dark than angsty, though.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I would have to say my Fantastic Beasts/Harry Potter story, More, from Luna Lovegood's POV. It's really angsty story about why she and Rolf became parents later than everyone else (lots of heartache and miscarriages), but it ends with them having their twins.

8. Do you get hate on fic?

No, I don't think so. I consider myself lucky for that, but I did get a comment by some bot trying to get to join a supposed to discord server for the Marvel fandom.

9. Do you write smut?

Nope. I'll write something kind of 'teasing' and cut-to-black or just skim over it, but no hardcore stuff from me.

10. Do you write crossovers?

Not generally, but I slotted one of my Pokémon ones into both manga and games because it was manga-centric with elements of the games. I also have a Fantastic Beasts/Harry Potter story, but I don't think that counts as a crossover.

I do have an idea for a Hannibal/Supernatural crossover that I hope to cowrite (see below).

I have some fics that take the world from one thing and place the characters from another in there, but I don't generally count those as crossovers unless characters from both things are included. If they do count as crossovers, then I have a Hannibal/Caraval (by Stephanie Garber), Hannibal/The Handmaid's Tale, and a Hannibal/The Third Day (HBO) all collected into a story called Fragments. The Third Day and Caraval ones will eventually be put into bigger stories, hopefully.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not that I know of, but if someone asks, I would probably give my permission as long as they credited me as the original writer.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

No, but I've been trying to make plans with @sarcasticsciencefictionwriter for one. I have chapter 1 on the idea, so any sort of work is being held up by yours truly.

I would be excited to be invited to so by the few authors I have had comment conversations with, though!

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

It's a tie between Newtina (Newt Scamander and Tina Goldstein in FB) and Hannigram (Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham). They're both my favorites, for VERY different reasons.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but probably won't?

I'm not sure if I have one at the moment, but it feels like it's going to be my Percival Graves and Leta Lestrange story, All Night or a Hundred Years. I love it so much and I know exactly how it's going to end, but the middle has just ground to a halt.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Angst and/or angsty love stuff, looking at my fics and original work. I don't really know! 😅 I guess I would have to say it depends on what exactly I'm writing.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

A lot.

Fluff, romance, purposeful humor. A lot of it just seems so cringy to me.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

I do it when I can. Mostly Lithuanian in Hannibal fics, like mylamasis (beloved) or a few words thrown in here and there. I don't speak any other languages, and what I know of them is usually self-taught by fanfictions, to be honest.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Pokémon! I can't actually remember if it was a Looker story I wrote based off the manga, or an Alain/Mairin fic based off one of my favorite books.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Don't make me choose!

But... I'd have to say Beneath the Brine. I have no idea why. It was my first Hannibal fanfiction, and I just love it so much. I'm also going to slot No Man in the Mirror and an FB Theseus and Lally story I wrote called A Night in New York as well. All three are things I am very proud of.

Maul, not raised as a nightbrother but I’m gonna count him anyway.

do I like them: Pretty obviously yes.

5 good qualities: Does not know when to quit, cocky, clever, ludicrous survival instinct, shows a little more care towards other people than has been shown towards him.

3 bad qualities: Vicious, vengeful, believes in Sith philosophy which fucks up his life.

favourite episode/etc: I think I’m gonna pick the opening scene of Lockdown, purely because it’s the first Star Wars book I read and it hooked me by making me laugh so much. That delicious tension between the author trying to build up that other inmate as a credible threat so that the fight creates actual excitement and concern and so on, and Maul dashing it every few lines by bragging about how he’s totally amazing and that he could have killed his opponent hours ago.

otp: None, but I like Maul/Obi-Wan and Maul/Padmé.

brotp: Savage.

ot3: None really?

notp: Idk? Like, there are pairings I’ll only read as horror but I’ve got a good horror tolerance.

best quote: I’m bad with remembering quotes tbh. I think it’s super interesting every time he likens himself to a tool, which happens a bunch in some of the comics. And, not a quote, but I totally love the way he’s written in children’s books, all “Maul said with evil pride” and “He would pour all of his hate and anger into his twin blades” and so on, because I can’t help but imagine it as his internal voice and it makes him sound like such an edgelord.

head canon: A lot of the mechanics skills he has, he learned by repairing the assassin droids he trained with every time he managed to damage them. Fight to the death, repair it, fight to the death again.

Savage

do I like them: I didn’t really expect to love him, but yeah, I totally do. I’ve written so much about him by now, you can’t really do that without being kinda obsessive about someone.

5 good qualities: Caring, determined, forgiving, patient, also pretty good at dealing with Maul considering he has no clue what tf he’s doing.

3 bad qualities: Willing to do anything for his brothers no matter who it hurts, horrible relationship with agency, DEAD.

favourite episode/etc: That moment when they’ve been rescued by the Mandalorians and Savage hits his head against that lamp, tbh. Favourite moment. Also, I’ve got a really soft spot for Shadow Collective, even though that’s just a children’s book retelling his last four episodes. Quite a few scenes about how much Maul ‘n Savage care about each other.

otp: No.

brotp: Maul!

ot3: No.

notp: Everyone, unless they’ve spent a super long time talking to Savage about agency and consent.

best quote: “You should have been helping him!” He’s so disappointed in Morley haha. He totally can’t fathom that there’s anyone who wouldn’t want to help and care for that terrifying cyborg-spider that’s going to eat you if you get too close, because that’s his brother!! How can you not care about Savage’s brother?? Also “brother” in general which is like half his dialogue. The voice doesn’t sound enough like Savage yet? Liberally sprinkle in “brother” and… bingo! Such a considerate character

head canon: There are like 50k+ words of Savage headcanons on my AO3 account by now… Uh, another thing is that I like to think he’s actually not that amazing at cooking really? He just likes his own food. A lot of the gripes that Maul has, he’d still have even if he hadn’t been raised by Sidous.

Feral

do I like them: To be honest I mostly like him in a… second-hand way? Like, he’s Savage’s beloved dead brother and Savage thinks the world of him. Every time I write Savage’s POV I think about how much he loves Feral, but that’s very different from getting to know Feral by figuring out what language he uses and where his attention would shift in a POV section. If I ever write one of the things in which Feral’s alive, that’s probably gonna change

5 good qualities: Loving, inquisitive, quick, really good hunter, compassionate.

3 bad qualities: Dead, doesn’t quite understand how much danger he’s in which would give Savage grey hairs if he had hair, also I like to think he’s sometimes a dick in a very teenage boy way?

favourite episode/etc: Not like there’s choice here. Although I’m genuinely angry that they’ve cut Feral from that children’s book about Savage I bought on a lark, because how tf do you talk about Savage without mentioning Feral? Okay only very few parenty might want to give their six-year-olds a book about a slave who was forced to murder his brother and then sold to a man who abused him and ordered him to kill the good guys – who never learn what was done to that slave and always call him a beast – but I feel in that case don’t buy a Savage Opress book? The children have already watched Feral’s murder if they know who Savage is???

head canon: In anything where Savage somehow gets Maul back and Feral’s alive, he and Maul have a kind of fraught relationship at first? Because it used to be just him and his big bro, and now his bro brings home this other guy and spends so much time with him, trying to make sure that Maul’s not bolting, and also Maul’s often kind of a dick to Savage? Feral is protectively concerned.

I’ve made up a bunch of nightbrothers (Stinger, Irascible, Dudgeon, Gorge, …) to make Savage’s life seem full and stuff, but the only canon one I can remember is Viscus.

do I like them: Kinda? Sorry you are the harbinger of bad news in everything I’ve ever written dude, it’s just the role society has given you.

5 good qualities: Feels pretty bad about what he’s doing, genuinely cares about people, much better at dealing with stress and loss than I would be, probably a strange sense of humor, good story-teller.

3 bad qualities: Does what he’s doing, traditionalist, strict.

favourite episode/etc: Not much to choose from again.
