Christmas in July - Devilish Angel

Living on the road definitely had a lot of drawbacks.

Inconsistent housing, crappy junk diet, constant exhaustion from driving long hours. It definitely took it's toll. But, at the same time, it certainly made you appreciate the little luxuries in life.

Luxuries such as sleep ins. Early mornings where Dean would usually be on his way to the next job, but instead was half-asleep amongst the covers and pillows on the lumpy motel bed.

He groggily blinked his eyes, settling his vision on the man sitting on the couch to his left. Clearly he hadn't heard Cas fly inside, so the angel must have been sitting there for a while.

"Mornin' handsome." Dean mumbled with a grin, one arm dangling down the side of the bed. "Didn't hear you come in."

Cas smiled gently. "You sleep very soundly."

Dean gave a soft laugh. "Helps that I've got a guardian angel looking out for me."

Cas shook his head. Even in his half-conscious state Dean was such a flirt.

"Now get over here, I hardly ever get to cuddle you in the mornings."

Standing up from the sofa, Cas made his way towards the bed and climbed under the covers. As the two of them cuddled closer, Cas shifted his legs against Dean's. The moment his feet made contact though, Dean gave an audible shudder.

"Damnit Cas are you angels cold blooded or sumthin'?"

While Cas would normally apologise for any discomfort he may cause, Dean's legs were ridiculously warm - and the perfect place to nestle his feet. Cas wriggled his toes against Dean's thigh, purely trying to tease the hunter with the cold.

But it wasn't the temperature that made Dean recoil with a squeaky giggle.

"Gehet your freheezing ass feet off me." He pushed Cas's torso away, trying to squirm as best he could under the blanket.

With a grin, Cas poked and curled his toes even more against poor Dean's legs. The man broke into more giggles, yelping when a particularly cold patch of skin met his own.

"Cahahas!"

"What's the matter Dean, I'm just warming my feet up?" Castiel asked, the small smirk on his face betraying his innocent act.

"No yohohou're nohot!!"

Deciding his feet weren't quite getting enough of a reaction, Cas latched his thumbs onto Dean's hipbones and began to rub.

"CAHAHAHAS NOHOHO!"

"I'm sorry Dean, I didn't realise you were this ticklish!"

"LIHIHIAHAR!"

Cas's cruel hip torture was short lived, as Dean was forced into a surrender after only a few moments.

"Now my legs are cold." Dean huffed after catching his breath, though the remnants of a grin remained on his face.

"I could always warm you up..." Cas smirked, and his offer was accompanied by the rustling of his wings unfolding.

Dean didn't have a chance to reply, and the moment Cas's feathers made contact, the hunter knew he was fucked.

There's something just beneath the surface, just at the periphery of Harry's mind. They've been here before — they've done this before. If only he could remember it.

I think this has my favorite last line of a fic all year. Maybe ever. This is exactly the kind of narratively layered, brilliant and beautifully captivating fic that Crow has done so well so many times. A gift.

As far as Harry can tell, Draco Malfoy is still rich as hell. He’s just not a wizard anymore. Featuring: Draco Malfoy trying to make it as a Muggle pop star, Harry Potter as our confused and horny hero, bad driving, good music, and the mysterious magic of falling for someone.

LKSJ:FLKJSD. I mean, this is a perfect Harry POV fic, the most believable Drarry dynamic in the midst of a fic about Draco as a Muggle pop star named Dragon, the "I'm with the band" fic I didn't know I needed. I love it with my whole soul.

It’s 2005, and Draco Malfoy says, “Fuck the Ministry,” Harry works as a handyman in muggle London, and Draco should really stop pissing off the Squib gangs.

Bracingly original, thrilling to read, does not hold the reader's hand at all and just throws you into it -- fantastic.

No one can make me SEE a fic the way Sweet does. The writing in this is so tangibly gorgeous, the love story is so tender and sweet and funny and lovely. The most charming of fics.

If any SoCal people are missing Blake there is a chance to hang with him and and Carson for a Christmas special taping of Barmageddon in Anaheim on 7/18.

BLAKE SHELTON SHOW BARMAGEDDON NEEDS AUDIENCE - TUESDAY, JULY 18TH - ANAHEIM, CA

We are looking for audience members to join us for an episode of Season 2 of Blake Shelton and Carson Daly's bar game show, Barmageddon taking place next Tuesday, July 18th at The Ranch in Anaheim, CA. If you have not yet seen this very fun and entertaining show, its currently airing on Prime Video and features Celebrity guest, who join Blake and Carson in fun, bar game competitions. Past guest has included Kane Brown, Gwen Stefani, Sheryl Crow, Jay Pharoah, Trace Adkins, Lil Rel Howrey and many others.

This could be an afternoon to come and join us in Anaheim for some down-home fun and games and possibly some musical performances, as sometimes Blake will perform on the show. We are currently expecting audience to arrive between 1:00pm - 2:30pm, taping to conclude around 6:30pm and best of all, each audience member over the age of 21 will be given a free drink ticket so you can join in on all the fun.

Everyone will be allowed to bring up to 3 guest with them, a total of 4 in your party, so grab your family and friends and come make an afternoon of it. Min age to attend this event is 18 yrs of age or older. This will also be our Christmas episode so everyone should come dressed in Christmas attire, Christmas Sweaters, reds, greens, fun reindeer and elf clothing and anything else you can pull together. You are more than welcome to bring your sweaters and put them on once you are on location as this will be filmed inside with air conditioning.

It’s season 6 but the Halloween episodes are still missing and there’s no Christmas episode this season either!

#2 of What’s missing from season 6.

Several things that made 9-1-1 popular with viewers have been missing from episodes during season 6. Maddie’s absence from firefam gatherings is number one and number two includes missing Halloween and Christmas episodes that seem to have been erased from the season lineup. Therefore the question is what happened to the Halloween and Christmas episodes? A lot of viewers started watching 9-1-1 because of those episodes but there hasn’t been a Halloween episode since season 3 and even though there was a Christmas episode in season 5, it was SUPER DEPRESSING and based on comments from viewers after the episode aired, no one felt joyous or like celebrating when it was over. There won’t be a Christmas episode in season 6 and there hasn’t been a reasonable explanation provided as to why these types of episodes have been removed from the show’s lineup.

Halloween

Halloween episodes in seasons 1, 2 and 3 all had some of the absolute best 9-1-1 calls included in them. In 1x7 “Full Moon Creepy AF”, Bobby and Buck had to deliver a lot of babies when they were dispatched to a pregnant Yoga class. In 2x7 “Haunted” there was a gravedigger who got buried alive and a police officer who lost his police horse partner. Hen drove a forklift to get the gravedigger out which was awesome. The police horse got injured during a stampede at a Halloween gathering and the police officer didn’t want him to suffer. Hen was going to put the police horse down but she was too emotional to do it, so Bobby had to take over. There was a corn maze with crows in 3x6 “Monsters” and after two children started throwing rocks at them, the crows attacked them. Also Buck rescued a man from the front windshield of a woman’s car because after she hit him, she experienced a brain injury but she kept driving around for two days with his body sticking out of her windshield. Buck was still on blood thinners at the time, so his actions were epic especially since he had just returned to work after the lawsuit. There was no Halloween episode in season 4 probably because the season only had 14 instead of the usual 18 episodes but there was no good reason given as to why the original 5x7 “Ghost Stories” never aired. It was supposed to include the ghost roommate story which a lot of audience members were excited to see but the whole episode was reshot and the revised version was DISAPPOINTING to say the least. Also there wasn’t a Halloween episode this season and 6x7 “Cursed” doesn’t count mainly because it was focused on only one victim and there also weren’t any references to Halloween like there had been in the past.

Christmas

Christmas episodes in seasons 2 and 3 were times that allowed the firefam, Athena and Maddie to come together as a family. Bobby and Athena hosted a Christmas party at their house in 2x10 “Merry X-Mas” and Buck worked with Athena in 3x10 “Christmas Spirit” to organize it so that the 118’s families could join them for the holiday since they all had to work. There wasn’t a Christmas episode in season 4 because it was a shorter season but the 5x10 “Wrapped in Red” Christmas episode was just DISMAL and SAD since Chimney, Maddie and Jee-Yun were gone and Eddie quit the 118. Now it’s season 6 and episode 10 won’t air until March 2023 which probably means tonight’s 6x9 “Red Flag” episode won’t be related to Christmas at all.

What’s happened to the show and why were all these abrupt and sudden changes made to the formula that’s been working since season 1? Last year the excuse provided was that a lot of the mains were missing and there were scheduling issues that prevented some episodes in 5A from being completed. What’s the excuse this season because all of the mains are present and accounted for and if any scheduling issues exist, then why did season 6A filming start earlier than usual on July 11th? Can the showrunner please reinstate the original 9-1-1 formula that worked and stop trying to reinvent it? This is a procedural drama not a sitcom or a CW show so please include the two themed episodes in season 7 so that the type of 9-1-1 calls the audience has enjoyed for 3 out of 6 seasons can be included.

Wondering what time of the year to go to Disney? As a young girl we always went at Christmas time because it wasn't as busy as other times of the year. In the early 2010s I always took my daughter the months of Jan and Feb because again, it was the slowest time. ENTER 2020 that threw everything off! More recently, there is NO time that is a Disney "Downtime". The parks are as packed as ever. SO in order to plan more effectively, you should look at the season Calendar to get a good idea about when you think the large crows MAY be less or to make sure it's a group of people or event that will jive with your family.

There are some unoffical days that have been present in the past like Rave Day at Disneyland and Harry Potter Day at Magic Kingdom however, I haven't found any updates about those returning to the parks in 2022.

Disneyland - I don't post much about Disneyland BUT of course in typical LA style, Disneyland has a lot of events surrounding "Disney After Dark" which have themes as well and special GLO features/performances. As you would assume Disneyland has different events and different calendars than Disney World. You can find some of those listed here:

Hope this helps with your planning. There is ALWAYS more to do at the parks other than "just" a theme park. With the specialized days, if it's your thing...there is a cool sense of community.

Christmas in July - Christmas Cheer

~A/N - EDIT: WELCOME TO CHRISTMAS IN JULY! (aka Crow was late finishing these last year and procrastinated writing them cause of writers block so he made a whole event thingy to make it seem planned and purposeful and ok hehe)

This was another fic from my Christmas Prompts list 2022. This list is now closed [EDIT: it's not lmao], but I might open it up again in November if people were interested (or I might even do another list, though it was hard to come up with the entire list last time lmao).

The prompt was 'First Christmas' with the Heartstopper boys Nick and Charlie, requested by @leahmariexox2 !

For the last few years of Charlie's life, Christmas hadn't felt particularly different to any other day of the year. Sure when he was a kid it felt like the greatest day of the year - gifts, songs, family, food, everything a growing boy loves. But the older he got, especially once the magic of Santa had worn off, Christmas lost more and more of that festive sparkle it was associated with.

That was until Nick came into the picture.

Suddenly, the magic of Christmas was back in full swing. Charlie was humming songs, wrapping presents, decorating every inch of space he could find. Crafting the perfect celebratory holiday for their first season together.

He had put the most consideration possible into the gifts. Of course, with his high school budget he had limited options, but had managed to scrape together his savings to make a gift exchange Nick would never forget.

As the boys sat down in front of the tree, Charile's heart began to pound. Would Nick like the presents? Did he get too few? Too many?

His head only continued to throw thoughts around like a sack of potatoes as Nick started unwrapping one of the smaller presents in front of him. Did he spend enough? What if he spent too much and Nick felt bad?

As a bag of Jelly Babies tumbled out of the paper, Nick smiled and looked up at Charlie.

"You remembered my favourite sweets?"

Charlie laughed. "Of course I did."

Nick reached into his jumper pocket. "On that thought-" He pulled out a perfectly folded cube of christmas paper.

"Holy..." Charlie gaped, too caught up in surprise at Nick's wrapping skills to finish his sentence. He began scratching at the tape, taking care not to rip the pristine packaging. Nick laughed at Charlie's efforts, but said nothing more. There would be plenty more Christmases for Nick to make fun of him for his opening methods.

Charlie cheesily held up the Terry's Chocolate Orange that lay inside, beaming at his boyfriend.

The two tucked into their respective snacks, sharing a bite here or there in true festive spirit. After a few moments of eating and enjoying each other's company, Charlie handed Nick a slim box with no label.

Nick turned it over a few times before opening the lid. He pulled out a sleek black fountain pen with a gold heart engraved on the side.

"Charlie..." Nick gasped breathlessly. "It's... It's beautiful."

Relieved that his boyfriend seemed to love the gift, Charlie gave a small smile and tucked the torn wrapping paper into the plastic rubbish bag.

"Wow..." Nick continued, turning it in his palm a few times, before placing it carefully on the side of the coffee table next to them. "Thank you, Charlie."

Charlie nodded softly back.

"Ok Ok Here!" Nick continued with the gift exchange. "I'm excited for this one!"

As Charlie took the box from Nick's hand and slid it open, he gave his boyfriend a puzzled look. A simple black bracelet with a silver bar sat atop the cushioning inside, black vertical lines engraved into the bar at seemingly random lengths and intervals.

Nick smiled, bringing out his phone and pointing the camera at the tag. The screen loaded for a moment, before a picture of Charlie and his closest friends under the Eifel tower popped up.

Charlie gave a happy, breathy laugh. "That's... Nick this is amazing!"

"Now any time you feel alone, you'll always have us with you." Nick pecked Charlie on the cheek, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.

"Thank you. Really."

And with that, another year of presents had come to pass. The floor was already empty (thanks to Charlie being more than on the ball with wrap collecting) and Nick started to stand before Charlie stopped him.

"I still have one more present to give you." Charlie grinned.

Nick, a mixture of surprise and worry washing over him, shuffled closer.

"It's very important..." Charlie continued, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend.

Nick leant into the touch, assuming this was the gift (or perhaps a kiss). How cute.

"And I feel that for Christmas, because it's our first one together..."

NIck paused his relaxation. Something in Charlie's voice sent a chill down his back.

"... I have to give you some Christmas Cheer!"

Nick barely had time to finish listening to the sentence before two mischievous hands clawed at his sides. He shrieked and twisted in Charlie's arms, breaking into giggles of betrayal.

"Merry Christmas Nick!" Charlie shouted over the sounds of his boyfriend's demise, wriggling his fingers up into Nick's armpits.

"CHAHAHAR!" Nick tried to screech out, but the syllables were barely recognizable between his fits of laughter.

The boys had fallen backwards, Charlie holding Nick in a sideways bear hug and maintaining his ticklish grasp on the poor man's upper ribs.

It didn't seem like Charlie planned to stop anytime soon.

As a light shower of snow coated the horizon in powder, Nick lay on his couch under the duvet watching telly. Charlie was due to arrive at any moment, but nothing could drag Nick away from the warmth and comfort of his little cocoon. The winter months were his favourite, having the excuse to curl up in a self-made burrito and laze around from morning to night.

To his right, the front door swung open and an absolutely frozen Charlie stumbled into the foyer.

"How's the weather?" Nick taunted, barely moving from his nest. And he didn't have to. He could easily feel the glare that Charlie threw his way.

A soft thud and two small thumps against the floor announced the removal of Charlie's winter outerwear. Once his boots were off (and presumably his socks), Charlie practically sprinted across the floor towards his boyfriend's pile of blankets and tunneled his way inside.

"Hi ChaaaarLIE-!" Nick yelped as two frozen feet pressed against his calves.

"Mmmmm warmmmm..." Charlie sighed contentedly, snuggling further against his boyfriend.

"GET YOUR COLD FEET OFF ME!" Nick screeched, twisting within the confines of his own bounds. Turns out that although tucking himself in had kept the warmth contained, it also created a very effective trap that was practically impossible to escape.

"But Niiiiick..." Charlie whined, holding on for dear life. "You need to warm them uppppp!"

"CHAHAR!" Nick yelped, diving under the covers to pull at his boyfriend's feet.

"Niiiick I'm cohold!" Charlie groaned, giving a slight laugh at the whole situation.

"You know what-." Nick's voice was muffled from under the covers. "Fine."

With his hands already grabbing Charlie's ankles, it was an effortless transition to hold him in an ankle lock and run a few fingers down his sole.

"Nihick wAHAHAIT!" Charlie screeched, kicking his legs (to the best of his ability) and clawing at the blankets with his hands to try and find Nick.

"I gotta warm them up Char!" Nick teased, scratching under Charlie's toes.

"NIHIHICK PLEHEHEASE!"

"Are you warm yet Char? You don't feel warm..."

"OHOHOKAHAHAY I'M SOHOHORRY!" Charlie begged, hands thrown over his face in defeat.

Finally, Nick released his captive and emerged from the depths of blankets strewn across the couch. Though he was still recovering from the lack of oxygen, Charlie leant in towards his boyfriend for a kiss. Nick relaxed, his fingers softly cupping Charlie's shoulders. Charlie let his hands slide up to Nick's neck before-

"CHAHAR!" Nick yelped, his back arching away. "COLD HANDS COLD HANDS COLD HANDS!"

Charlie just laughed.

Christmas in July - Let it Snow

~A/N - Hallo!

So welcome to part 3 of christmas in july! For this one I assumed the paris gang was the 6 central characters (like I did for the lazer tag fic) so I hope that's ok!!!! The title is ridiculously uncreative BUT it's christmas (in july) so you have to be nice to me ^^

I also wasn't quiiiiiite sure how to incorporate tickles into this one but I hope it works and doesn't seem too janky! EDIT: INSPIRATION HAS STRUCK IM A GENIUS WOOOOOO

There is a weird lack of dialogue and I might have rushed the ending a little but hope it's ok!

Winter holiday hangouts were bound to descend into chaos eventually. Close friends trading jokes and jabs at each other, spending even longer together than they would at school, no rules binding them to schedules or class times or lunch breaks, madness would set in eventually.

Add snow to the mix, and you've got a whole new realm of possibilities.

Tara hadn't intended for it to blow so far out of proportion. When she formed the initial (and at the time only) snowball, it was only meant to be a flirtatious attack against her girlfriend. As she readied her swing, all that ran through her mind was the ideal sequence of events that would follow.

Darcy would glare playfully, shake off the powdered snow from her jacket, perhaps throw a handful back, and they would share a playful kiss full of love and adoration.

Perhaps she should have paid less attention to her little fantasy, and more attention to her aim.

It was mere moments after she released the shot that she realized it wasn't quite lined up properly to hit her girlfriend. The further it travelled, the more the trajectory moved from it's initial planned path.

Straight into Tao's back.

With her eyes wide, Tara stuttered out some sort of nervous laughter-ridden apology and tried to explain. As she admitted to aiming at Darcy, the girl in question gave an outraged laugh and formed her own snowball to throw back in retaliation.

But the true fight didn't really begin there.

With his own revenge taken care of, Tao turned to another in the group who seemed to find the whole situation hilarious. Elle could barely keep herself upright she was laughing so hard. Perfectly unaware of Tao's rapidly approaching onslaught.

What was once a playful jab had now snowballed (hehe) into an all out war. Charlie quickly joined the battle once Tao went for Elle, creating a 5 way snow-brawl (hehe pt 2).

Amongst the flurry, there was one member of the group who was yet to be dragged into the crossfire. Nick stood to the side of the current fight, smiling to himself at the antics in front of him.

Once again, the distraction of watching loved ones be hit repeatedly with soft balls of snow proved far too effective.

Darcy had managed to sneak around behind Nick with more than an arm-filled scoop of fresh snow. With the skill and agility greater than Indiana Jones at the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark, she gently dropped it into Nick's open hood and flipped it over his head.

With a gasp of surprise and cold, Nick's back arched at a near inhuman angle. He batted at his jacket in an attempt to empty the snow out, before spinning around to see Darcy cracking up laughing.

Without spending a second thinking it through, Nick lunged at her. Her initial shriek blended into laughter as Nick began tickling up her sides. As he reached her armpits, Darcy screeched out a plea for mercy.

And, perhaps in retribution for her (albeit failed) attempted snowball assault earlier, Tara leapt into action to rescue her damsel in distress.

She threw her arms around Nick's waist and began to pull, but nothing was moving this relentless tickle machine. After a few moments of watching Tara's fruitless efforts, Charlie broke away from the snowball fight between Elle, himself, and Tao to help.

A few of Charlie's nimble fingers along Nick's ribs made the rugby champ collapse sideways with a giggle. Elle grinned in surprise, giving a teasy comment on the unusual weakness of a seemingly indestructible force, before taking over Charlie's duties as Nick-tickler. Tara also took her chance to get some revenge against her previous attacker, helping Elle wreck the poor guy.

As Charlie laughed to himself at the sight of his boyfriend being tickled to pieces, Tao decided to remind the kid that he was just as susceptible to a few playful pokes. At the sound of Charlie's laughter (and seeing as her previous battle had been abandoned), Darcy threw caution to the wind and helped Tao drag out more of the adorable sound.

By the end of the snowball-fight-turned-tickling-match, all six participants were fully exhausted. Lying tangled together in a giggly pile.

There really was nothing like a snow day to lift the spirits.

Christmas in July - Family Time

~A/N - Tis the final day of christmas in july (EDIT: it was meant to be but i didnt get finished in time hehe...)

Just a heads up, I'm only up to about halfway through season 2 of UA so if there's anything that seems off with this it's cause I'm not finished the series lmao.

That being said, I'm still referring to Viktor as Viktor, cause that's just how it's done with deadnames and stuff lol.

The Hargreeves siblings weren't usually ones for family outings.

Especially not the light hearted summer-holiday-vibes kind of outings.

But, here they were out on the ice rink, at varying levels of success.

Of course Allison and Klaus were like swans on a lake. Gracefully gliding past couples and families alike, even adding a few tricks here and there. Luther and 5 were surprisingly decent, especially considering Luther's size and the fact that most of 5's life was spent in an iceless apocalyptic wasteland. Even Viktor was getting the hang of it, able to gently slide along next to the wall.

Then there was Diego.

While usually one of the more agile, stealthy members of the group, the poor man could barely keep his feet underneath him.

As he desperately clung to the wall of the rink with both arms, Allison coasted by him with a laugh.

"Diego, you look like a newborn giraffe!"

He responded with nothing more than a scowl and a stumble.

Klaus was next to glide past. "Oh lighten up honey..." He smiled tauntingly, emphasizing his point with a swift jab to Diego's ribs.

Diego gasped, twisting away from his brother's hand. Unfortunately, he seemed to twist a little too far, as his feet shot out from underneath him.

As Diego fell, Klaus laughed back at him, "aw I forgot you were so ticklish."

"Shut up." Diego grumbled, his face beginning to redden as he climbed back onto his feet.

"Or what grandpa?" Five smirked. "Gonna fall on us?"

"I'll kill you all." Diego glared.

"Like that'll happen." Viktor chuckled, boldly pushing off from the wall and letting his momentum carry him past his brother.

With a newfound determination for murder, Diego dragged his body along the edge of the rink after his siblings. Being the slowest of the group, it was a futile effort. But one Diego was willing to attempt nonetheless.

"At this rate you'll catch us when we're 70." Luther laughed from behind, digging his hands under Diego's armpits and half-carrying the man a few meters.

"LuthER-!" Diego yelped, squirming in his brother's grip but flat out refusing to make any sound resembling laughter.

Once he finally escaped Luther's grasp, he fell onto the side with a grunt - somehow still standing.

"You're an ass." Diego shouted after his attacker, pushing himself forwards with more determination than ever.

You can imagine how well that went.

Lap after lap, Diego would be tormented by his siblings with little hope of retribution. A poke to his side, a squeeze on his hip, even being grabbed and dragged (or carried) along. All the while barely being able to move in fear of being dropped and falling onto the cold floor once more.

Eventually, Viktor got a little too brave.

He had snuck up behind his brother, letting his hands sneak up to Diego's neck. The moment his fingers made contact he almost got a very uncharacteristic squeal out of his brother.

But all it took was an awkward uncontrollable slide of Diego's left leg to completely trip Viktor (and take the knife-wielding assassin down with him) onto the ice. And, with the speed that the other 4 were going at directly behind the pair, they were physically unable to stop themselves from tumbling on top of the Diego Dog-Pile.

The stupidity of the situation mixed with the laughter buildup of the last 10 minutes (not to mention the pressure of his 5 siblings on top of him) finally caused Diego to break.

Helpless giggles poured out of his mouth, and his siblings quickly followed suit. Laughing both at the whole scenario they had found themselves in, but also in surprise at Diego's sudden burst of what could only be described as joy.

Yes, they were far from the most functional family in America.

But they had their moments.
