if (when) we do get a season two, i do hope we get to explore more about charles and his upbringing.

because seeing that tiny sliver of everything he had to go through, absolutely broke my heart. i need to know if there was at least some bits that were good.

i want to learn what his relationship with his mom was like, if he had any friends who wanted to stand by him but were too afraid of the consequences.

as much as i love his silly humor, and his need to change the subject when it gets too dark or serious— i would love to dive into it more.

i want to see charles when he is at his worst, and not able to paste on a smile or throw in a cheap joke for laughs.

and same goes for edwin— but sort of the opposite.

i want to see him be more silly and carefree and learn to really befriend crystal, god i would love yo see them build a friendship out of each other and leaning on the other for support because of their shared love for niko.

i know we got tiny glimpses of that, but i want to see more! i want to see edwin being the irrational one, i want to see him wanting to goof off instead of taking on his serious tone.

and!! i want!! to keep!! learning!! about!! crystal’s powers!!

i want to know about her past, i want to see and learn how different she is, i want to see someone she knew back then talk to her now and see if they’re willing to stick around for this new version of her.

Do we have any theories about who the Night Nurses Superior at the end of episode 8 of Dead Boy Detectives could be?

The reason I'm curious is that this character was written by Neil Gaiman. Neil confirmed he wrote three scenes in DBD. The first was the scene with Death in episode 1, the second was the scene with Despair in episode 7, and the last was this final scene set in the London office. It is the only scene that this character appears in. She does not give a name, but Night Nurse refers to her as "Your Finality" and I reckon she is the same person whose office we see Night Nurse going to visit earlier with 002 on the door - indicating perhaps she's Death's "right hand woman". She's credited on imdb as "The Principal".

Since Neil wrote this scene, it seems to indicate that either she is an established Neil Gaiman character from the comic, or perhaps that she is more linked to Sandman in a way thats being kept under wraps?

Any Sandman comic fans feel like weighing in on who she could be? Do we know of any characters that may work closely with Death?

Even if she is a new character it may be an interesting one to keep an eye out for. I would love to get more info about Death's realm and any help she has in running the afterlife. If that is possibly being expanded on in Sandman i can't WAIT to see it.
