[INTERVIEW] 221020 Vogue Korea - IU “Looking back on the past occasionally makes it more meaningful, doesn’t it?”
IU in Seoul, IU in Milan. Is she the same or different?
At ‘Vogue’, many photos were gathered of IU, Korea’s first female solo singer to have a concert at Jamsil Olympic Stadium then visit Milan as Gucci’s global ambassador. IU said, she asked herself, ‘How about this?’ and she started enjoying herself more.
Tumblr media
Q: You attended the 2023 S/S Milan collection show as Gucci’s global ambassador. Was there anything memorable for you about the collection? Any look or item that you liked?
IU: The moment I entered, I felt that the showcase venue was small and cosy. There weren’t many seats either. Then in the middle of the show, a partition wall in the centre of the stage was lifted and I realised that it was like a decalcomanie and there was another show on the other side. The twin models who were walking on their side of the stage met in the middle and held hands as they walked. Whether visually or symbolically, it was an interesting performance. I like overalls and this season, there were overalls! I wonder if they have it in my size? I got excited.
Q: During the ‘Twinsburg’ collection this time, 68 pairs of twins appeared on stage. The mother of the creative director, Alessandro Michele, is a twin so it came from his own personal experiences. I think artists need to have the ability to not bypass little experiences in their lives or miss out on the opposite side of the lives they have become accustomed to and turn that into art. I think the way you tell stories through your music and the unique way you express yourself through your lyrics is an example of that. How do you convert your daily experiences into music? Do you observe or make notes or think on the flip side?
IU: I’ve actually been making fewer notes than before. I still write in my diary, but I’m not as obsessive about writing in it anymore. It’s like, ‘The words to remain shall remain, or else just forget them.’ It’s been awhile since the days when I tried hard to cling on to thoughts that are worth becoming items. (But when I work on my full-length albums with more tracks, I’m clearly going to cling on reluctantly again.) Nowadays, there are many artists that write lyrics by themselves that have character. I’m also the type to stick my flag (TL note: stake my claim) on mainly themes I’m good at writing and can hang on to for a long time. I’m hooked on ‘patterns’ and ‘rules’ these days. I’m gradually starting to realise that I’m someone who lives with many rules in my daily life. I get stressed when something falls out of place too. I wonder if I’ll be able to infuse such ideas in my music in future.
Tumblr media
Q: We did the ‘Vogue’ cover photoshoot in the house of a Milan collector. It was a house filled with pictures and antique furniture, right? What’s your house filled with? Are you surrounded by them now as well?
IU: As I receive this question and look around me, I realise that I do have a number of pictures in my house here and there. I mostly spend my time in my room and in my room in particular, I have many pictures gifted to me by friends or my fans who drew them by themselves. There are pictures amazingly drawn on canvas and many sketches from my friend’s studio. Perhaps it’s because I have zero talent in drawing, when someone gifts me with a meaningful piece of art, I feel really touched. It contains the affection, time and effort of that person. The pieces that are really precious to me are gathered at one corner of my room. During my concert this time, there was a section that reproduced that part of my room too.
Tumblr media
Q: Other than 2020 and 2021 when Covid-19 was severe, you’ve been putting on solo concerts every year since 2012. What does it mean to you to be able to have face-to-face concerts with your fans?
IU: It’s a celebration party with my fans after a year of farming. It’s difficult to replace a concert with another event. The fans who come for my concerts will clearly know what I mean.
Q: Your first solo concert in 2012 was ‘Real Fantasy’ right? Do you still remember what your first concert was like?
IU: I don’t remember it vividly, but of course I still remember it. I did a nationwide tour for my first concert. From gathering concert audience, to maintaining my condition, putting things in action, to ensuring that the tension stays up during my concert each week instead of weakening, I was at a loss about everything and felt scared. I blamed the producer a little then for not guiding me on what to do and asking so much of me from the start, but after my concert this time, I thought to myself, “Thank you for raising me to be strong” and contacted the producer separately too. What’s encouraging for me is that my parents who came to watch my first concert 10 years ago and said, “The stage seems too big for you to fill on your own” back then, told me this time. “The stage that extends beyond 100m does not look big at all.”
Q: The concert you had in September was really amazing. You were the first Korean female solo singer to have a concert at Jamsil Olympic Stadium, right? With about 90 people on stage, about 1300 staff making preparations together and about 80,000 fans in the audience. I’m curious about your overall thoughts on the concert.
IU: I felt, ‘I enjoy the stage more than I thought. Things really work when many people put their hearts together. I’m working with some really amazing people. I have a really great life.’
Q: In the teaser video on your ‘dlwlrma’ YouTube channel, you said, “I want to leave a mark in concert history.” Did you manage to achieve what you hoped for?
IU: Yes.
Tumblr media
Q: Director Jo Hyunwoo who worked with you from the 2017 ‘Palette’ concert to the 2019 ‘Love, poem’ concert, as well as the 2022 ‘The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun’ concert, shared his thoughts on what a ‘perfect concert’ means to him. Usually when IU starts singing, the audience becomes quiet and only participate actively during the sing-along parts, but during your Philippines concert, the audience cheered so loudly that you couldn’t hear the music in your in-ears. You responded that, ‘A perfect concert means differently to different people. That was a perfect concert in a new way.’ In what way was the concert this time perfect?
IU: Despite the 3 year gap, not only me, but I felt that everyone was clear about their roles. At each position, it had to be that person. This concert was not a tour and there were only two days, but if I had the chance to go back again to that day, I would not have been able to make it any better.
Q: How did you feel when you fell asleep the night before your concert? How about after the concert?
IU: It was raining a lot the night before the concert and we didn’t manage to complete the run-through rehearsal, so I went back after work that day with an unsettling feeling. My backup singer who could tell how I felt sent me an image of ‘You can do it ability’, so I thought to myself, ‘That’s right, I’ve done everything I can. It’ll work out somehow’ and posted that image on my Instagram story before lying down in my bed. After the last day of the concert, I went for the after party. They didn’t make it obvious the whole time, but perhaps because the staff mostly felt pressured by the large scale of the concert, many of them were crying. Telling each other that they did well, it was the best, thank you for working together. Exchanging words with each other, I felt a surge of love for mankind that night. I got home late at night and read the concert reviews and felt overwhelmed with emotions which was something I had not felt in quite awhile. I think out of the concerts I had done, it was the concert with the highest level of audience satisfaction. That itself was enough to compensate for everything.
Tumblr media
Q: This concert was described as a “musical or Olympics opening ceremony”. In particular, the highlight was the hundreds of drones that formed a picture in the sky. What’s the stage equipment or effect that you were most into? On the contrary, was there anything you had to compromise for practical reasons?
IU: From the performance perspective, I think it would have to be the hot air balloon that went up as I sang ‘strawberry moon’. It’s something that the concert director insisted on strongly since the first meeting. A few months before the concert, together with a few key staff members, I went on a trip to Buyeo for a test run and that was how much we anticipated the hot air balloon performance. It would move depending on the wind direction, so it was very much weather-dependent and I thought I didn’t have a fear of heights at all, but once it went up by more than 10m, I couldn’t sing and whenever it wobbled due to the wind, my heart sank. As I was close to the fire, it was really hot to ride it in summer too. The director expressed his concerns (with a firm expression I had never seen from him in the many years we have worked together) ‘Just. Believe. In. It.’ I’m glad I did. The audience really liked it. What I had to compromise with was time, of course. From when the title of the concert, ‘Golden Hour’, was confirmed, we set the condition that ‘with the sunset as the background, we had to start the concert at 7pm sharp without missing a beat’. But for an outdoor concert, we couldn’t drag it too late into the night. So it was a shorter concert than what I used to do and we prepared for a runtime of 3 hours.
Tumblr media
Q: What was a great hurdle for you for this concert and how did you overcome it? On the contrary, what was the most exciting part?
IU: The biggest hurdle was myself. Since a year ago, my ear has been giving me some issues. If I sweat a lot or produce loud sounds for a long period of time, a muscle in my ear rattles and opens up and sound seems to echo loudly inside. As I was preparing for my concert, I trained myself well and made great improvements, but it had been awhile since I stood on stage and on top of that, it was the biggest stage in singing career, so many complicated thoughts were running through my mind. I just kept practising. If my ear opened up, sounds became unclear to me, so I was cautious about singing loudly and afraid to do so. Even if it sounded weird to me, I would just sing it out aloud first and record that and listen to it again, trying to find a way to control it. As I kept doing that, I started to regain my confidence gradually. It can get worse if I go too overboard, but for now, I’m safe. Aside from my condition, the moment I decided to do a concert, I tormented myself and struggled with thoughts like, ‘Would I be able to fill such a large stadium?’ Whenever I had weak thoughts, I remember telling myself, ‘Hey, this is the Olympic Stadium, even if you can’t eat (handle) it, it’s a Go’ to make myself bolder.
Q: After your encore stage, ‘Love poem’, you said, “There’s an issue with my ear, so I nervously prepared for this concert. I could barely hear properly today, but I could sense the support from all of you.” You must have been taken aback when you first heard the diagnosis of your condition. How did you feel back then and how are you accepting it right now?
IU: After hearing the diagnosis, I was firstly glad that it wasn’t an issue with my hearing per se. Since my job requires me to use my voice a lot, although I was at a loss of what to do, I think it was a chance for me to have more humble feelings about my health and this job that I love. When none of the worst case scenarios I imagined happened and I managed to pull off my concert successfully, I’ll never be able to forget how thankful I felt at that point in time. After the articles went out, I was contacted by many people. I even received messages from seniors that I did not have their contacts. There were more people around me with this condition than I had thought. As we use our ears and throat a lot, many singers revealed that they faced the same issue and shared their encouragement and their own tips with me. I also helped those who asked me for help as much as I could. From the perspective of someone who stands on stage, the bond of sympathy and support that we shared gave me the reassurance that I would be able to recover quickly. That was another episode that I was overwhelmed with a love for mankind recently.
Q: During your ‘The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun’ concert recently, you started off by singing ‘eight’ without any accompaniment. You’ve mentioned before that it’s a song you want to sing during sunset and something you’ve been planning for a long time”, but what was the reason that you decided your opening for the concert to be this way?
IU: ‘eight’ was a song that I released when I was 28, during a time of Covid-19 blues and a sense of powerlessness myself, when I was tired with everything. As I couldn’t have face-to-face concerts during that time, I wasn’t able to gain strength from the audience. So when the field of performing arts started to become active again, I felt that if I were to hold my concert, I would have to sing ‘eight’ as the first song powerfully and mark an end to the times I felt tired of everything. It’s the only song that has never changed its position the whole time we were deciding the setlist.
Tumblr media
Q: During your concert, you said after singing ‘Palette’ and ‘Good Day’, you would be excluding them from your setlist in future. You said, “Now that I’ve turned 30, you’re welcoming moments as good as you felt back then. There’s no reason for me to hang on to these songs anymore.” Over time, you’ve also graduated songs like ‘Marshmallow’ right? It’s not easy to let go of your shining history, is there a reason that you need to graduate your songs? I think it shows your growth as well.
IU: I think looking back on the past occasionally makes it more meaningful. As I work hard to release new songs, I would like to avoid a similar structure to my concerts every year. There’s some misinterpretation in the way it was reported in the news and although they will be left out of the key pieces that make up the regular setlist, during encore or with a freer atmosphere, I can still sing them if the audience requests for them. It’s also my will to continue to produce new songs to fill the empty spaces of the songs that have graduated, so I hope my fans don’t become too disappointed because of that.
Q: It seems that your choice above is influenced by you turning 30. Are there any emotional changes for you as you begin your 30s?
IU: I think it’s a time that I break free from my obsession that things have to be either ‘this way or that way’. As I start thinking to myself, ‘How about this?’, many things have started to become more enjoyable for me. I’m enjoying life, these days.
Q: With your concert over, you’re left with the release of your movie ‘Dream’! You started filming for it last spring, right? Besides ‘Dream’, what other projects do you have lined up?
IU: I would like to show a more relaxed side of myself. I’m always telling my fans, “I want to become uaenas’ hobby.” That’s my flow (TL note: how I’m doing things) these days too, whether it’s an album or other pieces of work, rather than breathless stories, I want to tell warm stories that allow our hearts to relax.

base tv: crowned, round 1
project type: competition show
project duration: june to august (airing july to august)
limitations: none
participation: all muses in the roleplay
deadline: july 9, 2022, at 11:59pm edt / july 10, 2022, at 12:59pm kst
in what’s sure to be the idol event of the year, base has teamed up with mnet to announce the production of the ultimate competition show. in a showdown between bc entertainment, dimensions entertainment, and gold star media, the idol group rosters of each company will be competing head to head for the title of idol industry royalty.
all active groups under all three companies will be competing face to face to impress fans, industry specialists, and the public through three rounds in a never-before-seen competition for the crown.
in-’verse info
all groups under bc, dimensions, and gold star are informed ahead of filming that they have been confirmed to appear on a new base-produced competition program, crowned. the general conceit of crowned is to have idol groups compete against each other for the title of the reigning kings or queens of the idol industry. the stakes and importance of this casting may vary for the groups, but the companies have ultimately found the production of this show to be for the net benefit of themselves.
filming for the program will take place from mid-june to late august. the winner will earn a broadcast special of their own on television nationally and on several international television channels, as well as both a special fanmeeting for crowned voters and a special exhibition at the base culture complex when it opens “...and more!”.
filming for the first round will take place from june 20 to july 9.
the mission for the first episode is “representative song”. each group will be tasked with performing a song representative of them in some way, though they are told that assignment is up to interpretation and does not necessarily have to be their biggest hit. the groups will not meet in the same place for the first time for the show until the day they film their stage for this round to build the tension, so each group will be filmed separately in their practice room receiving news of the assignment.
the groups will have from june 20 to prepare their stage in preparation for filming of the final round one stage on july 9. the winners of the first round will win a benefit for the next round.
on june 20, all of the groups will also shoot the promotional photos for the show. these will include group shots of each group as well as an individual shot for each member. no groups will shoot at the same time as each other, but they will all be in green rooms near the photoshoot set the full day for the cameras to get footage of the groups interacting within and between one another.
groups will get to discuss what their representative song and concept should be on camera. the final choice will ultimately be made and reported to the production team by their respective management teams. this is often how the show will work, as creative teams have already been formed and assigned to help work on the performances that will be presented throughout the show.
the songs each group will perform are as follows:
admin note: as crowned is heavily inspired by the real-life queendom and its subsequent spin-off shows, some groups will use exact queendom/kingdom/road to kingdom/queendom 2 stages, while others will be assigned a song and a stage concept reference from one of the shows. for those assigned a “concept” separate from the song, assume the concept, general vibes, staging, etc. would pretty much be the same but for the song assigned instead of the original song.
titan: jealous lily: genie (concept) cloud: beautiful (concept) candy: cheer up (concept) calypso: chi mat ba ram + rollin’ (remix) polaris: on (concept) quantumphase: wonderland (includes main rapper’s rap) arcadia: butterfly (concept) selene: decalcomanie platinum: missing you equinox: red flavor (concept) catalyst: fighter (concept) ultraviolet: playing with fire (concept)
groups will be filmed rehearsing their stages leading up to the big day. some groups may be touring during the time they have to rehearse. they will be renting out practice venues as they travel and production will send a small film and production crew to travel with them to film for their content for the round.
on the first day of rehearsals for each group, the leader will have to draw a card from a clear bowl before rehearsals start. this will, of course, be filmed. from the outside, all of the cards look the same with the show’s logo on them, but on the inside they will either get a penalty, a reward, or an ‘all clear’ (meaning they are not given a penalty or a reward). these will affect either their preparations for the stage or their score on the final stage.
base and mnet have also partnered with vlive for this round. all idols that do a vlive before the airing of the first episode (july 3) will have a special feature enabled that allows viewers to earn extra votes on the show by commenting on and interacting with the vlive. idols are required to mention crowned and its first airing date during the vlive, but should not spoil anything fully (only teasing what might happen to get people to watch).
on the day of the live recording (july 9), the groups will all arrive at the television studio early in the morning to rehearse and prepare to record. at the live recording, the groups will perform in order from least senior to most (arcadia -> ultraviolet -> candy -> catalyst -> cloud -> quantum/phase -> equinox -> polaris -> lily -> platinum -> titan -> calypso -> selene). they will perform in front of a live audience of fans of all groups and a group of ‘special judges’’. the ‘special judges’ from this round will be a group of adults in their 40s who considered themselves superfans of various first generation idol groups, but have proclaimed themselves unfamiliar with the current idol industry.
performances will be scored for this round through a combination of live audience fan votes, votes from the other groups, special judges’ votes, and likes on their performance videos on youtube after the episode, but will not be able to find out their total score and placement until early during filming for the next round.
mun info
muns may reserve pre-made plot points for crowned round 1. these plot points can be found here. a muse can only have one claimable plot point for the duration of the show, but no muse is required to claim any. there will be claimable plot points for each round of the show. if pre-made plot points go unclaimed, they may be carried over to the next round or removed.
claimable plots can be applied for here on a first-come, first-served basis and are entirely optional. if someone gets to your muse’s desired plot before you, you may resubmit for a different ploy.
please note that rankings and special awards that will take place during crowned will be decided through a mix of randomization, influence through muses’ own development, and pre-planned plot points/moments. there are no pre-determined final rankings for any round or for the winner of the show, but randomization will play the biggest role in them. muns should not be focusing on trying to make their muses’ group win, as this is not something that is entirely within any muns’ control and is not the focus of this event. muses may be driven by the desire to win, of course, but that isn’t what should be important out-of-character! please turn your focus to development of your muse through this instead.
the airing schedule of episodes using footage from first round filming will be as follows:
episode 1: july 3 (intro to show and groups, rewards & penalties, rehearsals) episode 2: july 10 (more rehearsals + round one performances by arcadia, ultraviolet, candy, catalyst, and cloud) episode 3: july 17 (round one performances by quantum/phase, equinox, polaris, lily, platinum, titan, calypso, and selene)
each episode will be two hours long.
any further questions should be directed to the main’s ask box!
points roundup
total available points for muses involved: 31 points (none of the prompts count toward monthly limits.)
+3 points each: a thread revolving around filming for this filming block of at least eight posts (four for each muse) by the deadline (up to eighteen points / six threads total)
+2 points: completion of in-character interview #1
+2 points: completion of in-character interview #2
+3 points: a self-para of at least 400 words of the muse doing the special vlive
+3 points: up to two self-paras of at least 400 words revolving around filming for this filming block (up to six points total)
please remember to tag with #famedcrowned1.

* this is not necessarily in order of events
August 9, 2021: BTS join selected ARMY for a PJ party zoom call. Jk is asked which member inspires him the most when writing songs. Jk looks around before answering himself. Tae’s hand can be seen bopping him.

ARMY fondly comment about the “preschoolers” of the group.

Tae initially doesn’t think it’s him but Jk puts a hand on his knee and confirms he is.

After confirming, they high five, with Tae then being affectionate by briefly squeezing Jk’s forearm, resting a hand briefly on his shoulder and flicking his hair. He also was smiling and putting his hand on the back of Jk’s neck, according to an ARMY on the call.

When asked about what time he slept last night, Tae sheepishly looks in Jungkook’s direction, laughs in amusement and says 6AM, and that he watched the sunrise before sleeping. Jungkook reiterates by shouting “6AM” in English, while Tae tries to explain he likes to watch the sunrise.

Jungkook pauses when asked about when “Decalcomanie” will be released. Namjoon speaks up saying he thinks it has been “thrown away”. Tae jokes that JK threw it away like he himself threw away his songs (Tae removed 12 songs from his mixtape, which originally had 15 songs). He says this while touching JK’s arm.

Tae passes what appears to be some sort of file folder to JK. He taps his hand and leans in very close to JK while JK reads.

Tae asks JK another question from the post-it, “What do you think about before sleeping when you look back on your day?” while putting his hand on JK’s shoulder.
Tumblr media
Tae leaves his hand on JK’s shoulder for a brief moment after the question is asked.
Tumblr media
Tae tells JK he can answer it while closing his eyes and JK follows Tae’s instructions. He seems to misunderstand the question as he does not say anything. Hence, Tae taps his shoulder again and says “no you have to say it” and prompts JK by repeating the question. The hyungs can be heard laughing at the ongoing scene in the background.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
JK lets out a sigh and says that’s how he goes to sleep (implying he does not think of anything before sleeping). Hobi helps out and asks in the background if he collapses.
Tumblr media
JK then reenacts what he does when he goes to bed saying “there’s this sound you make when you lie down on the bed -- AGHHH AIGOO”
Tumblr media
Tae seems to find this endearing, leaning forward to get a better look at JK while laughing cutely at what he is doing.

OVERALL COMPANY
Gold Star is teaming up with VLive this quarter to host a special VLive relay as company promotion. This means that every artist under Gold Star Media (including the un-debuted members of Marigold and Quicksilver, who will do so under the moniker of Gold Star trainees) will be expected to do a solo VLive this quarter to participate in the relay. The date will be flexible with management, but it will be pre-scheduled and pre-announced and will need to last at least fifteen minutes, but can be longer. Due to delays in the finishing touches being put on the Base Culture Complex, BC, Dimensions, and Gold Star have also banded together to get some mediaplay opportunities and good media karma in the name of base by hosting a community service event each month together. Idols are encouraged to participate for good press, but they are not required to.
Important dates:
July 1-September 30: Gold Star VLive relay.
July 19: Volunteering opportunity at an animal shelter with BC & Dimensions idols.
August 30: Volunteering opportunity at an orphanage with BC & Dimensions idols.
September 20-22: Chuseok (no group schedules).
September 27: Volunteering opportunity delivering meals to the elderly with BC & Dimensions idols.
SILHOUETTE
Silhouette celebrates eleven years on the very first day of the quarter and will hold a group VLive to celebrate with their fans. They’re welcome to tease their upcoming comeback during that time as long as they don’t spoil too much, as it will have been announced by then. They come back on July 19th and the song does well to the standard of Silhouette’s last few releases. They also participate in festival season, having a few gigs booked to perform thanks to their general public appeal due to their longevity and mature image. They’ve also been chosen as ambassadors of LG phones and will record and film a special promotional single for the brand in August that will be released in September. On top of that, Silhouette is scheduled to release another mini-album before the year is out, which they’ll record in August after wrapping comeback promotions. In September, they’ll be learning the title track choreography and attending fittings.

ARIA
The first half of the quarter is spent finishing comeback preparations and Aria makes their comeback in August. It’s one of their more traditionally summer-themed releases and the response among both fans and the general public are mixed, but still generally positive. It’s not the hit song of the summer, but a full album makes fans happy (even if a sizable chunk of it is member solo tracks) and Aria continues to experiment with maturing their sound. They continue promotions through almost the end of the quarter with music shows and fan signs, and Gold Star has booked them for a few festivals to get the song out to more ears.
Important dates:
July 13: “Firework” comeback fittings.
July 20: Two of Us photo book shoot.
August 1: Performance at Suwon KT Wiz Supporters Festival in Suwon (also performing: Gal.actic and Aria).

September 26: Performance at Hallyu Dream Concert in Gyeongju (also performing: Decipher, BEE, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Chroma Crystal, Gal.actic, Alien, MARS, Lucid, Silhouette, Origin, Impulse, and Fuse.)
ORIGIN
Origin is expected to continue to practice their performance of their comeback throughout July and August, but they will be flying in and out of Osaka over this time period as they kickstart the Japan leg of their tour. Most of their time is still spent in Seoul, though, since they have plenty of comeback preparations still left to do such as fittings, teaser photo shoots, and the music video filming. During this time before they’re busy with promotions, they’ll also record their next mini-album. Their single “Dynamite” is released in August and as their first true English single is an even bigger success than anyone really expected, though Gold Star put in a lot of work on their end to make sure it was successful. It tops the charts in countries all over the world, including South Korea and the US, earning them the first ever Billboard Hot 100 #1 for an all-South Korean act and dominating the Korean charts for an impressive length of time. They might just have another song of the year in the bag. Promotions continue as normal, with music shows and performances for overseas media, though they won’t be having any fan signs since it’s a single release.
Important dates:

IMPULSE
Impulse will be traveling back and forth on their Impulse Road Tour throughout Asia and the US in July and August. Once they get back from tour, they’ll be preparing for their Japanese comeback and their Korean comeback at the same time. Though they’ll record their Japanese mini-album and learn the title track’s choreography in July, August will see them balancing fittings and photo book shoots for their Japanese comeback with recording their Korean comeback mini album. FUSE
Activity finally kicks back up for Fuse this quarter. They’re in high gear for comeback preparations as they finish preparing to make their first comeback in what will be a few days over a year at the time of release. On top of that, they have some performances in the form of festival concerts and one in their role as Shilla Duty Free ambassadors, and they also wrap up their La Rouge concert tour in Yokohama a few weeks before their comeback. “Hands Up” earns mixed opinions, as Fuse singles have often done in the past, but the song does well enough to prove Fuse shouldn’t be dungeoned long-term.

July 15: “Hands Up” comeback fittings.
July 17: Performance* at Cass Blue Playground concert (also performing: Knight Light).  *the concert would be in-person

September 29: Performance at Cheonan World Dance Festival in Cheonan (also performing: 7ROPHY, Lucid, and Silhouette).
↳ FUSE B&W
Fuse B&W continue to promote “Naughty” throughout June with the regular round of music show promotions. It’s praised for its choreography and brings some extra attention to the members of the sub-unit and makes fans a little less antsy about a full group comeback, as both of the sub-units promotions were intended to.
Important dates:
July 21: End of “Naughty” music show promotions.
FEMME FATALE
Femme Fatale starts the quarter by finishing getting everything ready for their comeback at the very end of July. Shortly before their comeback, they make a festival appearance, something that’s become rare for them lately, and fans are excited to see them participate in one again. “Ice Cream” does well because they’re Femme Fatale, but it isn’t the un-paralleled hit Gold Star might have hoped for, as it ends up being a polarizing release among fan opinion. Luckily, they’ll already be working on their first full-length album by the time they make that comeback. They’ll record the album throughout July and August, and during their time off of promotions in August, they’ll also be in the dance studio to practice choreography for “Lovesick Girls” and “Pretty Savage”. Once they’re done promoting “Ice Cream”, September will be dedicated to finishing up The Album and they’ll also do a shoot for American Elle, where they’ll appear on the cover for October’s issue.
Important dates:
July 5: “Ice Cream” comeback fittings.
July 13: “Ice Cream” teaser photo shoot.
July 15: “Ice Cream” M/V filming.
July 26: Performance at Ulsan Music Festival in Ulsan (also performing: Decipher, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Unity, Aria, Impulse, Fuse, and Vive).
July 31: Release of “Ice Cream (with Selena Gomez)” single + press showcase, music show promotions continue through August 30.
August 20: Elle October issue cover shoot and Elle Song Association video filming.
August 30: End of “Ice Cream” music show promotions.
August 31: “Lovesick Girls” comeback fittings.
September 7: The Album photo book shoot.
September 15: “Lovesick Girls” M/V filming day one & teaser photo and concept video shoot.
September 16: “Lovesick Girls” M/V filming day two.
VIVE
Much like their debut quarter, this quarter is once again an incredibly busy one for Vive. They start it off with going overseas to the US for their showcase tour across the country. During their time in Chicago, they’ll film a special MV for their b-side “Our Summer”. Once they get back, they’ll performance at their first ever festival and they’ll work on getting down the choreography they’ll need to know for their next comeback (”Run Away”, “New Rules”, “Poppin’ Star”, “Can’t We Just Leave The Monster Alive?”, “Angel or Devil”) on rather short notice for how much they have to learn. Their Korean comeback is received well despite not garnering as much attention as their debut. There’s no time to bask in the glow of their first comeback, though as they’ll be busy all throughout late August and September prepping to make their Japanese debut by recording the mini-album. The group will also be recording their first ever OST in August, for release in September.
Important dates:
July 1: STAR in US showcase at Playstation Theatre in New York, NY, USA.
July 3: “Our Summer” (selfie ver.) M/V filming (to be released: August 13).
July 4: STAR in US showcase at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, IL, USA.
July 6: STAR in US showcase at The Plaza Live in Orlando, FL, USA.
July 9: STAR in US showcase at Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, GA, USA.
July 11: STAR in US showcase at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, TX, USA.
July 16: STAR in US showcase at The Novo in Los Angeles, CA, USA.
July 26: Performance at Ulsan Music Festival in Ulsan (also performing: Decipher, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Unity, Aria, Impulse, Fuse, and Vive).
July 27: “Run Away” comeback fittings.
August 3: “Run Away” M/V filming day one.
August 4: “Run Away” M/V filming day one.
August 14: “Angel or Devil” M/V filming (to be released: October 7).

September 19: Performance at Guro G Festival in Seoul (also performing: Knight and Impulse).
September 20: Release of Doom At Your Service OST “Love Sight”.
September 30: End of “Runaway” music show promotions.
MARIGOLD
First things first, Marigold will film the dance covers they practiced last quarter over the course of July. They’ll be released one by one until the final cover is released the day Marigold’s debut is planned to be announced to the press. Marigold begins to prep for their debut release in earnest this quarter. They’re confirmed internally for a debut in the second half of October with a single album. They’ll be given the chance to listen to the demos in early July and will record the single album throughout July and early August. In August, they’ll practice hard on their choreography for the title “Hocus Pocus” and the b-side “Be Ambitious”. They’ll be expected to work extra hard on all aspects of their debut preparation since they have a lot to live up to with Gold Star’s track record of girl group success. Comeback prep starts to wrap up in September for them. At the end of September, the group’s dance line will film a special cover video with Dingo as pre-debut promotion.
Important dates:
July 6: “16 Shots” dance cover filming (to be released: July 13).
July 9: “Baby Don’t Stop” dance cover filming (to be released: August 13).
July 20: “No Tears Left To Cry” dance cover filming (to be released: September 13).
July 23: “River” dance cover filming (to be released: September 20).
August 7: “Hocus Pocus” debut first fittings.
August 21: “Hocus Pocus” debut second fittings.
September 12: Be Ambitious! promotional single album photo book shoot.
September 25: Dingo Music debut song cover dance video filming (main dancer/vocal/rapper & main rapper/lead dancer/vocal only, to be released: October 6). *excluding Energetic & LATATA
September 30: “Hocus Pocus” M/V filming.
QUICKSILVER
The debut of Quicksilver is closer, but they have more time to prepare than Marigold, so Gold Star has arranged for them to get some additional training in the form of a pre-debut reality show that will be released shortly before their debut. For the show, they’ll be traveling to Los Angeles for two two-week periods to train at famous dance studios in the city. They’ll stay in a house rented out by the company and, in addition to training, they’ll show their team bonding through sightseeing locations such as Santa Monica Pier and Universal Studios and holding weekly group meetings. During their second two-week block, they’ll also focus on recording a pre-debut song and filming a low-budget music video for it in Los Angeles (*Junyoung’s lines will go to main rapper/lead dancer). They’ll film the performance videos they’d be rehearsing for before they leave, and in September, they’ll practice to film a cover of Knight’s “Growl”, which will also be released but will also serve as a way for Gold Star to gauge their improvement as a result of filming the reality show before they begin preparing for their debut more intensely next quarter.
Important dates:
July 8: Performance video I, II, & main dancer/lead vocal solo cover filming (to be released August 1, September 1, & October 1 respectively).
July 12-25: First block of American Training show filming.
July 24: Bonus Clip filming.
August 9-22: Second block of American Training show filming.
September 23: “Growl” cover video filming (to be released: November 1).

181006 오사카 릴리즈 이벤트 마마무 미니라이브 2부 Decalcomanie Japanese ver 직캠
(i used google translate on the video title and it reads:) OSAKA RELEASE EVENT MAMAMOO MINI LIVE PART 2
firstly i am so happy for and proud of them for expanding their radish queendom into the japanese market. releasing official versions of music in other languages implies an existing demand for it in those respective regions. secondly YES THOSE SHIN FISHNET SOCKS HAVE MADE A COMEBACK YES. YES YES YES. THEY HAVE BEEN MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE THING EVER ALONGSIDE THOSE THIGH HIGH BOOTS (eg their red military-style outfit ensemble for the 4season concert and ALL of them were in thigh high boots, urgh). it’s endearing how their stylists reverted to the sets of looks they had used during the decalcomanie era (monochrome colour scheme, a sort of victorian gothic-casual posh-smart casual look, shirts with blazers and smooth blouses with dramatic bow ties and sleeves, those louboutins) for this japanese release instead of having a variation of them. consistency. it’s mamamoo’s stylists we’re talking about though so i have no doubt that they will make anything work, but i like how they revived the aesthetics of that period.
the fact that we can recall distinctive looks associated with each of their comebacks/releases is indeed a testament to the success of rbw’s branding efforts (particularly in the area of styling), isn’t it? what’s amazing for me is how authentic they look with each era’s styling concept, they never looked like they’re wearing “costumes” and that’s partly thanks to how their stylists switch things up smartly even within a concept, and every time they refresh their looks, it appears evolutionary and not at all jarring.

[TRANS] MAMAMOO's BNT Interview: "Our goal this year isn't becoming number 1, but hoping the year becomes one where we safely complete the plans we have set"
Tumblr media
Q. How does it feel doing this photoshoot with bnt?
SOLAR: I was really nervous before we came here because it's been such a while since we did a photoshoot with bnt. As expected, you took the photos prettily, so I had fun shooting, and hope we can do this again next time.
WHEEIN: We aren't a group that does photoshoots often, but I think we've gained a good memory thanks to bnt.
HWASA: It was really fun. I especially liked the clothes. I liked attempting a new style.
Q. What have you been doing lately?
SOLAR: We're in the last stages of album preparations, so we're busy recording and practicing choreography. We want to hurry and show good music and a great stage.
HWASA: Lately, I've just been recording. Because all 4 members participate in our songs a lot, we've been busy preparing the album.
Q. Fans have been worrying a lot because of Solar's back injury, have you recovered a lot?
SOLAR: Because so many people worried for me, fortunately, I have recovered now.
Q. You had the honor of running as a torchbearer for the '2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics', how does it feel?
SOLAR: Sadly, because of my back injury, I wasn't able to do it together, but I was proud seeing my members running.
WHEEIN: First of all, it was really hectic. It was my first time running as a torchbearer, so I was really nervous. But I think the 15 minutes flew by.
MOONBYUL: Because the three of us had to do this, it was burdensome and I worried. I think it will remain as a good memory, having shared the meaningful moment together as MAMAMOO.
Q. Was there anything that happened during the torch relay?
HWASA: Wheein has a bit of a dark past while doing the torch relay. (laughs)
WHEEIN: That's right. (laughs) I looked at all the photos from after the torch relay, and I didn't wear the hat correctly. So I became a conehead. I was really embarrassed. (laughs)
Q. Due to Solar's absence, it must have felt really regrettable.
SOLAR: It was really unfortunate, but I'm grateful and proud that the members did it so greatly.
WHEEIN: It's not an opportunity that comes by easily, so Solar unnie's empty spot was really sad.
MOONBYUL: Nothing would have been better than all 4 members doing it together, but Solar unnie's recovery was a priority. If there is another opportunity, I want to do it together as a whole [group].
Q. You have the release of your new song coming up in March. Could you introduce it?
SOLAR: We put a lot of different moods/atmosphere in this album that are completely different from styles MAMAMOO has done. I think it would be good to anticipate it. (laughs)
Q. Following your 2014 debut, you've had one hit after another with 'Mr. Ambiguous', 'Piano Man', 'Um Oh Ah Yeh', 'You're the Best', and 'Decalcomanie'. Do you feel any pressure with this upcoming album?
SOLAR: Of course, with the anticipation there is pressure. But we do our best to meet those expectations, so I think that pressure turns into good synergy.
HWASA: I think there is somewhat of a sense of responsibility. We're putting our all into preparing the album with the feeling of responsibility to not disappoint, rather than feeling pressure. The single album 'Paint Me' that we released recently didn't rank on music charts as well as I thought it would. I feel sad the song didn't fit perfectly in the eyes of the general public, who is used to MAMAMOO's bright style that we've been showing. I think 'Paint Me' will become a turning point for MAMAMOO.
Q. After debuting, you've done various activities, releasing an album every year, and [taking part in] OSTs. I think it would be hard on you physically and mentally.
SOLAR: Of course, there are times where it's tiring, but I think we each overcome it in our own ways.
WHEEIN: When we're promoting, I do get exhausted physically, but I think the hard time that comes mentally is really big. I think for this job, you have to have a strong mind. There are times when you crumble mentally and get exhausted, but it's not something someone else can fix, so you have to control your mind well.
Tumblr media
Q. New debuting rookie idols have been choosing MAMAMOO as role models they want to be like. How does that make you feel?
SOLAR: I'm thankful. When I hear those things, I feel embarrassed, but my sense of responsibility gets stronger.
HWASA: I think it's amazing. I still feel a bit shy. There are a lot of much cooler people. (laughs)
Q. How did you feel when senior singer Lee Hyori chose you as her most talented juniors?
MOONBYUL: When we first came across that news, all the members in the car screamed. (laughs) We really admire her. Hearing our role model, Lee Hyori sunbaenim (senior), giving that compliment to us, we were touched.
WHEEIN: We were really thankful, and it made us want to work harder with our music in the future.
Q. Who is MAMAMOO's role model?
SOLAR: Personally, Lee Hyori sunbaenim.
HWASA: It's different for each member, but there was a role model I thought of when the company was creating the group called MAMAMOO. It's the group TLC from the US. They're a group with a really strong personality. Thinking about it now, I think we're doing strong, unique music like them.
Q. MAMAMOO has a diverse fan base, with men and women of all ages. You have a lot of female fans in particular.
WHEEIN: I think the way we act off stage approached them in a friendly way. A lot of our song lyrics also represent the feelings of women and express them honestly. Women nowadays have self-confidence, and like being confident. I think people like our music a lot because it fits in with that well.
Q. When you think of MAMAMOO, you can't leave out teamwork. Do you have a secret behind maintaining good teamwork?
SOLAR: We've been close to the point where we lived together as trainees. Now, they're really dongsaengs (someone younger) that are like family.
HWASA: I think bumping into each other when you have to is also a secret to it. If you spend a lot of time together, there are going to be things that hurt you. If you don't talk about it and sulk, it drags on for longer. We bumped heads a lot, but, after experiencing those days, now we can know things by just looking at each others eyes. (laughs)
MOONBYUL: That's right. After learning each others tendencies, we've learned the know-how's on how to say things to not hurt each others feelings.
Q. You seem to work hard at communicating with fans despite being busy.
SOLAR: We try to do it a lot. I think it's only right to repay the love fans give us.
WHEEIN: We both exist because of each other. Rather than working hard on just releasing albums often, I think it's also important to communicate like someone close by. Then the feelings you have for each other becomes deeper. It's kind of like a relationship. (laughs) Their name is just 'fan', but I do think it's like two people who like each other, like a relationship between lovers. So we put a lot of effort into making each other happy.
Q. When you think of MAMAMOO, you think 'beagle-dol', and vice versa. What do you think about your beagle-like image?
SOLAR: At first, I wasn't sure what that meant, but it suited us perfectly. Though, we are occasionally quiet. (laughs)
HWASA: We've kind of hit a period of lassitude with the beagle image. Now, that modifier is just comfortable.
WHEEIN: That's right. The beagle image is just comfortable now, and that is a part of us. If they dressed us in like a 'doll-idol' image that doesn't suit us, it would've been a burden for us, too. (laughs)
Q. Because your bright and cheerful image is so strong, there could be some challenges.
MOONBYUL: Because we are people, we feel sad and tired, too. But, because we're always appearing cheerful, there are times where we get exhausted. In the past, there was a time where we did silly faces like an event on stage. For about half a year after, that's all people seemed to want to see wherever we went. (laughs) We want to show a different side of us, but I worried a lot that we may be cemented in a funny image. Now, doing various music activities, I think it's gotten better with the general public accepting, 'MAMAMOO has this side to them, too'.
WHEEIN: We want to show an image that goes beyond a bright and cheerful image, but if we show a different appearance, people around us are awkward, so it's uncomfortable. Because people want a created image more than our real selves, it's a shame we haven't had many opportunities to show our actual appearances much.
Q. Trying to approach the general public in a friendly manner unintentionally created misunderstandings.
HWASA: Now, nearing 5 years since debuting, we realized that those misunderstandings can be changed through us changing. Anyone is awkward at first, and you're bound to make mistakes. We're also a part of that process, and I think the best answer is to show a more mature us.
Q. You show witty lyrics and various performances. Whose idea is it?
HWASA: The demand of our CEO? (laughs)
WHEEIN: If our CEO tosses a big idea like that to us, we usually bite the bait. (laughs) We discuss a lot of things especially right before we get on stage. If we put our heads together and discuss things, good ideas come about.
Q. Is there a memorable stage?
WHEEIN: There's a stage that has been bothering us for years. (laughs) We promoted 'Um Oh Ah Yeh' for a pretty long time, and we showed a different ad lib for every broadcast. When we thought we didn't have any more themes, we changed the lyrics to a 'moo party' theme. The lyrics had a variety of moos/radishes, from radish kimchi, dried radish slices, kkakdugi.
Q. Solar's drumming performance at MAMAMOO's solo concert was a [hot] issue. I feel there must have been lots of effort into completing a big stage like that.
SOLAR: I practice a lot. Even when performing, I was really nervous in case I dropped my stick, but I'm proud people watched it so well.
Q. Seeing your exploding charisma on stage, Hwasa is like the next generation's sexy queen. Is Hwasa's talent natural?
HWASA: It's kind of difficult to say it myself, but I think I had a lot of those talents since I was young. (laughs) When I was younger, both my parents worked, so I spent a lot of time alone since they were busy. Since then, I would turn on music and dance and show my talents. I remember watching Uhm Jung Hwa and Kim Hye Soo sunbaenims on TV, imitating them with a curtain draped around me like a dress. (laughs)
Q. Along with a solo song, Wheein has done lots of collaborations with different singers. Do you have any solo plans?
WHEEIN: Honestly, I have very detailed plans for this year, but it's still a secret. (laughs) Of course, I will be working hard with MAMAMOO's activities. But I want to show people the musical colors of, not only MAMAMOO's Wheein, but Jung Wheein's as well.
Q. Moonbyul, you showed off your rapping and singing through your solo song 'Love & Hate', included in the 'Purple' album. Were there any difficulties managing both rapping and singing?
MOONBYUL: Along with the producer, the members helped me a lot. It was difficult while learning, but I was able to take another step in developing through 'Love & Hate'.
Q. Moonbyul is well-known for looking like EXO's Xiumin and BTOB's Minhyuk. Do you look alike in real life as well?
MOONBYUL: My members said they got surprised after seeing them in real life, too. (laughs)
HWASA: When she's wearing makeup, she looks like Xiumin sunbaenim, and when she's not, she looks like Minhyuk oppa. (laughs)
WHEEIN: It's really to the point where it's confusing. When Minhyuk oppa walked by, I thought it was Moonbyul unnie. (laughs)
MOONBYUL: The members got confused during rehearsals, too. All the BTOB members also acknowledge that we look alike. (laughs) We got close after saying I look like Minhyuk oppa.
Q. Is there a different girl group's song that you want to try doing in your own style?
SOLAR: I like Red Velvet's 'Red Flavor' because it's fresh. I think it would be nice to attempt it in MAMAMOO's style.
MOONBYUL: I think it would also be nice to do Red Velvet's 'Red Flavor' or 'Peek-A-Boo'.
HWASA: It's a song that I listened to for a while at one point. I want to try a style like Blackpink's 'Playing With Fire'.
WHEEIN: I think f(x)'s '4 Walls' is very polished and good.
Q. Is there a celebrity that you're close with?
WHEEIN: I don't think I have the personality where I approach someone first. Even if someone comes to me, I get shy and nervous, so I'm not really close with many celebrities. I think becoming close naturally is nice.
MOONBYUL: There's a 92-line group with Sandeul, Jin, Hani, Baro, and Ken. Since we're adults, we have a drink. But I think the thing we do most when we get together are escape rooms. (laughs)
Q. Recently, you successfully completed showcases in Japan and Taiwan. Do you have any more plans for overseas activities?
HWASA: The interest in MAMAMOO overseas was pretty high. It's hard to talk about any detailed plans, but we are planning overseas activities to broaden MAMAMOO's territory. (laughs)
Q. You participated in competitive programs a lot, but there are lots of fans who are sad about not being able to see you on any other programs.
MOONBYUL: We went on a lot of competing programs. So it feels like we're idols whose specialty are competitive programs. (laughs) Because it takes a lot of effort to prepare for those programs, I think we weren't able to go on other variety shows.
HWASA: There's that, as well as us not being suitable for TV. (laughs) When we're not on air, we're really funny, but we freeze up as soon as the camera starts rolling.
MOONBYUL: Also, I think doing variety shows alone is particularly difficult. When you're with other members, they give reactions with you. If you make a mistake, they can cover it up for you. But it's hard when you go on them alone.
Q. Is there a variety show you want to try?
WHEEIN: I want to try a realistic variety show like 'I Live Alone'. Rather than being pressured and feeling obligated to do something, I think shows that can show us being natural suits us best.
Tumblr media
Q. Is there a b-side track from your albums that you want to recommend?
HWASA: A bossanova song 'Words Don't Come Easy' from our 'Melting' album. Personally, I really liked feeling like the members came together as one and wrapped around me when recording this song.
MOONBYUL: The song 'Hometown'. This is also in the 'Melting' album, but each of the members wrote their own parts. It's a song that has a lot of each of our memories.
Q. You participate in writing and composing a lot. Where do you get your influence?
HWASA: Life. There isn't anything special.
WHEEIN: Also, experience. I think things that suddenly come to you are the biggest things.
Q. You have a lot of songs that go with the theme of love and separation. I'm curious about MAMAMOO's dating life.
HWASA: I don't think love is only about the relationship between man and woman, but it involves various things. Like the love with friends or family.
WHEEIN: I think Hwasa dodged the question well. (laughs)
HWASA: I'm serious. (laughs) I write about the love in family a lot, too. And we can have crushes/one-sided loves. We're people, too. I think there's something strict when it comes to celebrities and love. I don't like how we're beating around the bush answering right now either. (laughs) Anyway, there are many kinds of love.
MOONBYUL: I recall experiences of past love, from before debuting, and write about that.
Q. There are a lot of celebrities who choose MAMAMOO as their ideal types. Have you ever been asked out?
MOONBYUL: We never have.
WHEEIN: I have. (laughs)
MOONBYUL: Really? I didn't know. (laughs) I'm curious about who it is, too. Did they say they were interested in you and ask for your number?
WHEEIN: There was something like that. (laughs) It's kind of been a while. It's not recent. Anyway, it has happened.
Q. What are your ideal types?
HWASA: I think I really know my ideal type now. I really like someone who is optimistic.
WHEEIN: It could seem abstract saying this, but someone who is 'wide'. Like, someone with a 'wide bowl' (like, someone who is broad-minded?). I want a big bowl man. (laughs) Optimistic two.
MOONBYUL: Someone who is really understanding.
WHEEIN, HWASA: Optimistic three. (laughs)
MOONBYUL: In the past, I used to nitpick looks, too. But now, I think being understanding of each other is the most important thing when getting to know someone.
Q. You're at the age to be dating, don't you want to?
WHEEIN: I really want to. (laughs) Because we're at the age to love.
HWASA: Right now, we are busily active, but if my heart matches with someone, and I really think, 'It's this person', I would date them.
MOONBYUL: When I have someone I love, I think there will be a day where I can let it become known that we are dating.
Q. How would you picture MAMAMOO 10 years from now?
WHEEIN: I think we'd go on '9010' and sing. (laughs)
HWASA: In 10 years, we'll be 34. Moonbyul unnie will be 37, and Yongsun unnie, 38. Almost 40. (laughs) I think we'll have occasional get together. (laughs)
MOONBYUL: We got this question early into our debut. At that time, I could imagine 10 years into the future, but that's almost 40 now. (laughs) I think we'll be together as MAMAMOO, while doing individual activities.
Q. You have lots of modifiers like 'listen and trust in MAMAMOO' and 'beagle-dol'. What kind of modifier would you like in the future?
WHEEIN: 'MAMAMOO that doesn't need modifiers'. I hope MAMAMOO can be acknowledged as is, without any need for modifiers.
Q. What kind of year was 2017 like for MAMAMOO?
HWASA: We only released on album, but, instead, it was a year where we laid the base to expand our musical boundaries.
Q. Do you have a goal for 2018?
HWASA: Our goal this year isn't becoming number 1, but hoping the year becomes one where we safely complete the plans we have set. In order to do that, I think our members' health is the priority. I want us to take care of our health well, and do our music activities well.
Q. What are your future promotional plans?
MOONBYUL: First of all, we're planning on releasing an album in March. We're planning on showing various activities, not only as MAMAMOO, but ones that show each of our own colors.
Q. Lastly, a word to your fans.
SOLAR: There was a not-so-short time between 'Yes I Am' promotions and this comeback, so thank you so much for waiting until now. We will work hard to show better music and stages in the future, so we hope you watch us well. Everyone, don't be sick, and let's meet soon in a healthy state.
WHEEIN: We're not active lately, so we haven't had a chance to meet you like this. It's really nice that we were able to greet you through this photoshoot ahead of our comeback. We have a lot of plans for this year, so we will work hard so your eyes and ears can't rest, so please look forward to it. Thank you for waiting for so long, and I hope you continue to give MAMAMOO lots of love.
