If you've read the Daughter of the Pirate King duology, this is for you.
I want to make this an animatic/YouTube short but I don't have the motivation/skills.
First go listen to this sea shanty. DO IT. It's awesome.
Okay now yk how at the beginning, there's a little kid that goes, "Fee Fi Fo Fum, I smell the bones of an Englishman"? Imagine that kid is Roslyn. And imagine the main singer is Riden.
Now think about this:
Roslyn comes up to Riden and starts singing. And then aLL oF A suDdEn, Riden just chuckles (the little "he he he" in the background, if you listen closely) and calls the rest of the crew to start singing. And the rest of the song is basically that.
IMAGINE HOW EPIC OF AN ANIMATIC/YOUTUBE SHORT THAT WOULD MAKE

Daughter of the Pirate King (Daughter of the Pirate King #1) There will be plenty of time for me to beat him soundly once I’ve gotten what I came for. I also finished Daughter of the Siren Queen and I really really enjoyed it!!! The pirate/siren plot was really enjoyable and I loooooved the romance in it. Also damn so much death I was not expecting it! But I loved all the unexpected twists and turns. Second/final book was better than the first even the that one was already good. All in all it was a reallly enjoyable read I highly recommend
Now I’m going to read The Betrothed by Kiera Cass! I’m really excited bc she writes such good romance (besides those last two books in the selection series - those were garbage imo don’t @ me just my opinion) anyway I’m ready to get lost in another Kiera Cass romance 🥰

As a thank you to reaching 5k followers on Instagram, I tackled a papercraft weekend challenge! This time, we're paper-raiding Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller! (Who desperately needs more fanart for this series!)
This was such a fun build, even under short deadline. I pulled styles from Disney concept art and illustration as the series itself is a love letter to the Pirates of the Caribbean movie universe. I really love this duology; it's light hearted, yet still packed full of piratey violence and action, a sultry romance, and the best girl gang/crew I've had the pleasure to read! Can't wait for Warrior of the Wild!

Sequel to Daughter of the Pirate King: Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller
March 1, 2018
Alosa's mission is finally complete. Not only has she recovered all three pieces of the map to a legendary hidden treasure, but the pirates who originally took her captive are now prisoners on her ship. Still unfairly attractive and unexpectedly loyal, first mate Riden is a constant distraction, but now he's under her orders. And she takes great comfort in knowing that the villainous Vordan will soon be facing her father's justice.
When Vordan exposes a secret her father has kept for years, Alosa and her crew find themselves in a deadly race with the feared Pirate King. Despite the danger, Alosa knows they will recover the treasure first . . . after all, she is the daughter of the Siren Queen.

My Review: 5/5 Stars
Sequel to Daughter of the Pirate King, Alosa, Riden, and the rest of the Ava-lee crew are back and if you liked the first one, you will definitely love the second! I fell in love with Daughter of the Pirate King when I first read it last year. A kick-ass girl captain pirate, what's not to love? Alosa returns to the Pirate King to deliver the map she recovered for the ultimate treasure that lies on Isla de Canta. However, she makes a discovery that changes everything she thought she knew. Now it's a race to reach Isla de Canta before her father and his fleet catch her and her crew.
We discover more of the siren side of Alosa and the power she holds. Her journey to master her siren side isn't done alone. Riden is still on her crew and he refuses to leave her. I love their relationship and though they both can be stubborn, the love the two of them have for one another is stronger than anything, even a siren's song. Their relationship has their ups and downs but together they know they are stronger and will do anything to protect their crew and one another.
The book is filled with adventure, love, and danger that keeps you on your toes. What else do you expect from a story filled with pirates? She truly is the Lady Jack Sparrow. And I'm super sad the story is over but I loved every moment.
