A tale of 2 Glossings (formally known as Toning). Psst..I have a secret everybody's hair pulls warm (red/orange/yellow) when lightening (lifting). When your stylist recommends Glossing (Toning) with your #Blonding service shes not trying to sale you something you don't need. Trust me you NEED Glossing 💯 (justl ike you need @Olaplex thats why I included both in all my Blonding services). The Raw Lift Look might be a thing.. somewhere but its not a pleasant one 😱. I got a question for all the "I still see Red (yellow, orange)" guests out there, did you say No to Glossing/Toning? I could go on about how Glossing/ Toning is not a fix (because something went wrong or a mistake was made with the lifting or coloring) but is a required step to Blonding because its part of the process, however let's get back to the story. Amanda is a busy essential worker who needed minimal grey coverage, wanted a very low maintenance dimensional brunette with a coin piece 👌. After her raw lift I Glossed her a light caramel. We both loved it. However Gloss/Toners are not permanent (hair color) and after several washes the light caramel would have faded to point where she would need a salon Glossing (maintenance) sooner than she wanted so I asked her to come back for a darker Gloss and now we are obsessed 😍😍😍.
