Dyslexia moment from today

So I was reading a physics thing, an electricity physics thing, an electrical current in circuits complete with diagrams physics thing. And when I was reading this physics thing I came across the word "squirrel"... except, i did not. I read half way through the paragraph before i realized that - even in physics textbooks - squirrels carrying rods are not typical.

So I looked back at the start of the paragraph, and there it said... "current"

Now I may constantly switch up numbers and letters, and I may have only learnt that apples and applies were different words at age 13, but I have never in my memory miss read "current" as "squirrel". I can't even remember the last time I thought about squirrels. It has been at least 4 years since I have seen one.

Why did it take me half a paragraph to notice???

"This was just a combination of words that vaguely resemble a sentence. What the fuck."

Because I read some nonsense and I don't know if it's just me or is it actually some jumbled mess.

So their is so sO SO much wrong with the Lightning thief movie But I think my two favorite things that don't make sense are

1) apparently Percy's name is just 'Percy' because he needed help to name a third demigod and he had to look at the Greek to get the name 'Perseus'

2) for some reason their are Thirteen thrones on Olympus. It's goes (right to left) Dionysus, Hephaestus, Hera (a decision to put her here of all places), Hermes, Aphrodite, Poseidon, Zeus (at the head), Athena, Ares, Demeter, Apollo, Artemis, EMPTY THRONE! Why 13? For Hestia? But she doesn't have a throne she gave it up. For Hades? He also doesn't have one on Olympus!

Having a dyslexia/adhd? moment is trying to write "good job", then going back realizing you wrote "good jod" thinking it's funny. showing it to a friend and then them showing you that you actually wrote "goob jod".

laughing at that and, showing another friend only for them to reveal that you are both hopeless dyslexics and that it actually reads "goop jood"
