He became five or six years old.

When he comes back, Ingo learns that he will now become a father.

Extremely late answer, sorry, Anon.

I feel that Arceus would get punched by a very irate Subway Boss in that scenario, I love it.

This has spawned many words in the master document, as my brain has decided to positively gnaw on this idea, and alas, nothing is finished yet, so have a bit of worldbuilding and some drawings in the meantime.

Digital art:

Emmet craves violence. Akari and Rei are used to this (featuring: probably the best expressions I've ever drawn)

he's a bit older now, but still smaller than his evolved starter; Typhlosion can tell his soul is older, but he is physically small, so she abuses his lack of height to shower him in affection

an internal mess of conflicting instincts, thoughts, and emotional maturity, but Arceus's plan is set in motion, and there's nothing Emmet can do about it

Worldbuilding:

Emmet got shrunk on his way to Hisui, due to the Rift's distorted power affecting him on the way out; he lands on Prelude Beach, drowning in his Depot Agent uniform now that he is teeny tiny

Arceus, panicking a little bit, communicates more directly with Emmet, urging him along on his mission

Emmet's memories are messed up, and his conduct is an odd combination of a child and an adult. By which I mean he can be disconcertingly clever and mature, but also the poutiest little guy with a habit of crying

Young age plus being overwhelmed plus stress equals one mute boi; this does not change his penchant for causing Problems

Jubilife is a lot more lenient with him because of how young he is, but Laventon, Cyllene, and Kamado suspect that he isn't supposed to be like this due to how he was found

Emmet is in an awkward position as far as finding living conditions go, being too odd for most parents to want to take in but also much too young to live on his own

Akari and Rei are assigned babysitters. Let the stressing and development of gray hairs commence

Emmet is Perfectly Behaved and causes no Problems at all, of course, why would he? Why would he?

(He bolts for the gates the moment Akari opens the door in the morning) (Ress caught him)

After sending Emmet home, Arceus shortly feels a distinct feeling of being in danger

After finding out that his brother has been shrunk and not fixed, Ingo fixes metaphorical (and perhaps literal) crosshairs on the back of Arceus's head

Arceus may be in danger

Isn't it exhausting, to always smile? To present yourself to the public like nothing's wrong, even when your smile cracks at the edges?

Day 6: Emotion is done, and with it, I reveal a glimpse of my fondness of theater masks and serve up a bit of angst along the way.

Yellow represents happiness ; blue represents sadness; red represents anger; purple represents fear -- for this drawing, at least. There's overlap, depending on what sources you use.

(Isn't he supposed to be happy? How can he be, with his twin gone? What took him away?)

(... What if he never comes back?)

Genuinely, this was about all I could come up with. Theater masks and color symbolism. But I like theater masks, so it's okay; I just hope it fits the prompt enough.

Fanart of Sabi from @monsoon-of-art's Pokemon Mer AU, because I was given permission to share fanart (a terrible mistake, really), and the clairvoyant gremlin demanded that I spend two hours rendering what was supposed to be a simple doodle. She is getting up to mischief, probably.

I... assume that Sabi is supposed to have the weird cuttlefish pupils? I hunted through Monsoon-of-art's mer tag to find all the little Sabi snippets, and her pupils were very flat and wide in one of them -- the only one I could find where she had pupils -- so I went from there.

The one colored Mer Sabi that I found had blue cheeks, so I thought that that meant that her blush would also be blue. Hopefully I was right.

I was not going into this intending to render an entire drawing. I meant to do a bunch of doodles, but, well Sabi happened.

And finally....

How the heck do tentacles work?

I had a Thought last night, and while Emmet doesn't actually have Arceus's crest on each of his eyes in WtST, I thought that it would look really cool, so here we are.

Now that I'm more awake, I realize that this concept was most like implanted in my brain a while ago after looking at this piece of artwork by Esprei. Which is fantastic, by the way, go look at it and give it attention, look at it it's beautiful. (Still a little confused on the mentioning etiquette on here; I don't know if I should tag people whenever I mention them or not, as every time I've tagged another user has been when I've either made something for them or found something I think they'd like, and I'm quite concerned about bothering people. Sorry)

While I'm not totally, 100% happy with everything about this piece, I do really the contrast with everything being monochrome but a few sparkles and the crests in his eyes. I do like that a lot. Contrast, beloved.

Could I have done this with Akari or Rei and had it not be WtST stuff? Yes, yes I could have. Did I? No, of course not, how was I supposed to resist the chance to give Emmet a li'l extra funk?

I am so late.

Nooooo why he fuzzy. His file's been scrunched. Aw.

I was going to do something for Welcome to Sinnoh's Temple, but then this came into my head and I was like, "Yeah, sure, I'll doodle that," and then proceeded to spend three and a half hours on this one image. It's still rushed.

Anyway.

Here he be. His corsage is blue, and his suit is mostly on the lighter side of gray and white. Ingo's would have darker grays and black, and his corsage would be red.

You walk in expecting an anxious young woman and you find this tall boi grinning at you with battling intent, what do you do.
