it's one of the best things i've seen in ages.

it's written and directed by welsh people. it's set and filmed largely in wales. it has a plethora of wonderful welsh actors and actresses. it's totally made by welsh people FOR welsh people.

i loved the pure welshness of it: the relations to the story of king arthur (orginally a welsh story); the feeling of hiraeth the whole time. i'm going to be thinking a lot about this mini-series for a very long time.

have some of my headcanons that no one asked for:

he uses mainly he/him pronouns but he really wouldn't care if you use any others

he's cis on paper but he's very fluid with his gender expression and is very "gender is a performance"

he's also aroace <33

he has adhd !!

he's the type of friend to randomly buy people gifts with no explanation other than "i saw this and thought of you" <33

he's also the type of friend who always checks on others to see how they're doing (even if they don't check up on him

he's a big people pleaser and will find it hard to say no to people (which gives him big trauma and yes he has trauma !!! idk how you can play the game and think any differently)

he deals with things internally more than externally so his problems are often overlooked

he also hates being a burden so will downplay his own problems and laugh them off with "it's nothing!" (it is not nothing)

when comforting people, he will try to make them laugh by being silly and telling jokes

he'll also comfort people by giving them nice things (i.e. if he's outside he'll find a cool bug or leaf or if he's inside he'll find a soft plush to hold)

he's emotionally immature and struggles with emotion regulation due to his adhd so he doesn't really know how to deal with emotions very well

he is a golden retriever

in the future, he won't go to college/university but instead he'll volunteer at the local youth centre and teaches the kids how to play basketball!

he'll be a gym teacher!

because he won't go to college, he'll get a lot of pressure from his extended family, especially because hero went

he's a glass half full kinda guy

he's a summer child at heart (even though he was born in november)

his favourite colour is orange of course

orange joe is his safe food/drink

he has a hyperfixation on the colour orange so anything he sees that is orange in colour he buys - his room is also very orange

the reason he got into basketball was because basketballs are orange too

just had a random thought but the sims should have more disabled features, like i wanna see sims in wheelchairs, with mobility aids, using a sim sign language.

and i'm talking about having these features in the base game, not about CC or expansion packs.

the base game already has hearing aids which is awesome and lots of sugerical scars and bandages etc.

but it would be so cool if they added more ways to make your sims disabled.

guide dogs, walking sticks, walking canes, wheelchairs, sign languages etc.

reasons why i like dylan lenivy from the quarry

have you seen him??? gender envy and massive crush rolled into one.

i know he's a grown-ass teen but his giggles??? i'm dead on the floor.

he's really smart and was wayyyy ahead of everyone else ("we should amputate"!! he's a genius).

his taste in music is pretty cool (ik we only heard the song at the campfire but i liked that song so his taste is good).

this will become very obvious but i find him very relatable.

we both want to study/currently study physics (in my case, i'm studying astrophysics rn - quantum physics is BIG difficult, dude's a genius part 2)

we're both dumbasses (in my case i'm actually a dumbass and he's pretending)

but we both want to make others happy and laugh despite our own feelings/the situation we're in lmao
