Okay, Barty would pretend to be tough and flirt around with Evan when around others, but AS SOON as they are alone - he melts. He melts into a puddle in front of this man, he stumbles over his words and thoughts and Evan just stands there SMIRKING and then just says "shut up and kiss me, Crouch" and Barty would fucking WIMPER, he would be so pathetic, no one would ever even think he could be. And Evan loves it, and despite being all push-around with Barty, he cares so much and would most definitely show it with his actions and not words. He would say "go fuck yourself" and then pull Barty close and gently kiss him on the forehead while playing with his hair, because Evan is just as obsessed and pathetic with him, he's just better at hiding it, and the best thing is that Barty knows.

I’m glad that J.K. Rowling has never written about the marauders and that no company has made a marauders film adaptation because 1, it would be boring (and straight) and 2, what’s great about the fandom is that we made the whole thing up. Some names were mentioned once or twice in the book and we gave them full on personalities. Everyone has different opinions on different characters and I think that’s the best part of this.

James and Marlene both have ADHD and both spent several of their former years studying different languages and learning lost or uncommon languages so they can gossip with each other without worrying about people hearing them, which becomes a problem when they make friends with nosy multi-lingual people.

Usually they default to Hindi or Spanish, what with James' first language being Hindi and Marlene growing up in a Hispanic family. But then Regulus started learning Hindi for James and already knew Spanish, Remus picked up Hindi after James spent a day where he drunkenly complained that speaking English all the time was hard, and Dorcas picked up Spanish.

So they'll usually switch to Italian, which stopped when they learned that both Dorcas and Barty spoke Italian. After that, they tend to go for German. But when their friends start pulling out German dictionaries, they'll move onto Japanese.

They go through most of their languages: Dutch (once again, dictionaries), Turkish (weirdly enough, Evan knows how to speak it), Latin (which they learn that Regulus, Pandora, and Remus know), Greek (which brings out more dictionaries), Swahili (how Lily knew that one, neither of them know).

They've even tried sign language, which doesn't work because all of the latest Black generation knows sign language.

Finally, one day they can best their friends. It comes with a very frustrated sigh as Barty shouts, "Gaelic? Really?" It doesn't take that long before they have to find another language.

Sirius does not like physical touch unless it's a bro hug with James or Remus is touching him. He can make an exception if someones really upset tho

Regulus is one of those people who smoke then aggressively cough after. He tries to hide it when he smokes with Barty and Evan but he doesn't do great 😭

Barty is either sickly sweet to people (Pandora, Dorcas, Lily, Evan ect) or grabs at every opportunity to insult them (James, Sirius, not as much Remus funnily enough). And if he actually hates them he just punches them

Peter can breakdance strangely well??

Marlene doesn't wear makeup apart from an eyeliner pencil. Not in a pick me kinda way she just genuinely does not know what the fuck to do 😭

Regulus's favourite chocolate is white, and he loves sugar. Sirius is the opposite, he likes dark chocolate and doesnt mind sugar but it's definitely not his favourite

Dorcas is genuinely so sarcastic and funny, but Pandora does not understand sarcasm. My girl is confused

Peter is a silent judger. He will give you dirty looks and side eyes but if you ask what the problem is he's like 'nothingg...'

Mary really suits red and wears mostly that but she buys all her room decorations pink

Lily's favourite flowers are daisies. James always gets her Lilys and she finds it endearing, she doesn't tell him that tho (i love jegulus too don't bite me)

Majority of them smoke but Sirius, Remus and Barty do it most often. Remus doesn't like Sirius doing this. On the contrary, Pandoras never touched a cig in her life

Sirius and Regulus both have French accents, but Sirius's fades over the years. Of course, in some words he has a little French flair.

Pandora lets bugs crawl on her unless it's a hosile one. In that case, she gently scoops it of her and puts it where its safe

Lily and mary lie next to eachother in bed with facemasks on and they just sit in comfortable silence

Dorcas has really long natural nails. Her and Marls are both on the asexual spectrum so she doesn't need to trim them unless it's once in a blue moon.

Marlene sits cross-legged like a child whenever she can (same)

I don’t think people understand just how old the marauders fandom is.

Because I remember when everyone apart from the marauders and Lily didn’t really exist(Barty,Evan,Pandora,Dorcas,Mary,Marlene,Regulus). We just never talked about them. At that point, I couldn’t even have told you what they looked like or who they were. James was the straightest man on earth but also the whitest. For some reason, at that point, everyone was white with no religion. The only two ships we had were Wolfstar and Jily. Ao3 wasn’t really known yet. So we had to read our fics on Wattpad🤧. Fan casting wasn’t really a thing yet nor was fan art. The rare pieces of fan art we had had to be drawn traditionally because digital art didn’t exist yet. The cosplays on tik tok were usually pretty sad. Anyways, it was a dark era.

I really don’t miss it.
