As far as second lives went it wasn't that bad.

"Jana?" mother of this body called. "Could you wash the dishes?"

She called back in affirmative before fishing for a bookmark to mark the page. Jana rushed to the kitchen ruffling the hair of her two younger sisters before getting to work.

When she was young, in her previous life, she loved washing dishes by hand; a silly tradition really and one she hated doing in the winter because back in her previous life there was no hot water in the kitchen. Here there were no such setbacks.

That made her cry sometimes.

The Sable family lived in a small village named Plume; on a Summer Island called Hook Island, Grand Line, Paradise.

First time she learned of this Jana had been torn between laughter and sobbing, not that she could be blamed for that, knowing the dangers of the world she was born in.

Clinking of the plates calmed her, smell of detergent made her focus on her work; but her mind did drift into slight introspection as these were all practiced movements. There was plenty to wash, their family ran an Inn - or rather her grandmother ran an Inn and the rest of the family just happened to live here.

This was one of grandmother’s grumbling complaints, so Jana had little issue lending a hand.

When she realized where she was, at age of three, she threw herself into reading any book she could reach. She considered herself very lucky to be born as a nobody and far away from the plot as possible; but she knew it might not stay that simple.

What if one of the more horrid pirate crews anchored here? what if pirates attacked her village? what if Marines decided to kill her entire island off?

What if, what if.

There was a myriad of possibilities that could end their peaceful lives here.

Gol D. Roger was executed when she was three, which left her quite some time until plot happened, assuming she didn't die before then, due to whatever. After all the main plot is not all there is.

One thing that she was certain of was that no one could know of the knowledge she possessed. It would place her family in danger, an entire world in danger, should there exist a person whose Devil Fruit could read minds.

Jana wanted to take no chances.

Best way to confuse a mind reader, who probably wouldn't be looking for any information under 'reincarnation' was to hoard huge amounts of knowledge. That was Jana’s take on the issue.

Little bits and pieces that would become credible clues to things she knew from before. Just so that a possible mind reader - and it was quite possible such a Devil Fruit existed - would consider her an investigator rather than an outsider with knowledge of the future.

She unplugged the sink and watched the soapy water drain away. Jana knew her parents were worried that she had no aspirations outside of reading and training her dog.

She smiled as she dried the plates.

How happy they were that she finally had a friend of sorts. Even if it was an animal. Jana had never been able to connect to her older sisters, not in the way sister's might; as she treated all four, both the younger and the older set of twins, as children.

Which they were, but being a young girl in body made it seem weird to others even if Jana was mentally thirty, twenty three years older than her body.

As soon as she was done she called to her grandmother that she was going out and grabbed her book again. "Jana!" her mother called out before she could disappear. "Don't forget to clean your room if you want to go with your father tomorrow!"

"I won't!" a rare grin spread across her face. She loved going with her father to the bigger city. A city that reminded her of her past life with it's tall buildings and numerous roads. No cars unfortunately, but still nostalgic. Jana loved to explore while her father did his work for the building company.

As an architect in a city like that he had no shortage of work; more than in their village of course, as pirates were more prone to anchoring and destroying in bigger cities.

While she did get in trouble sometimes, Jana was usually fast and nimble enough to escape and drunkards and delinquents that wanted to harm her.

After one incident which granted her a cut on her upper arm she made sure to run every morning if only to build up stamina.

This payed off in the busy streets of Lissel City where she learned to weave in and out of crowds with impressive speed, and manage to get back to her father unharmed every time since.

There were some of her father's friends that taught her how to punch properly once she returned with a black eye, courtesy of a fisherman's son who wanted to rip her book (he looked worse).

Her parents might have been worried that she would become a delinquent or a criminal, but her sisters pitched in with evidence that most kids in their nearby school were just jealous of Jana's smarts. After the elder twin's pleading she was left alone about any scrapes she gained, and if her father encouraged her to learn some self-defense and her grandmother looked suspiciously proud that was another matter entirely.

It was after the incident with Marines that her father encouraged her to broaden her physical training.

Jana didn't trust Marines, not by a long shot.

Mostly due to the fact that she was privy to their dirty secrets than anything else. Logically she knew there were good and bad Marines, in relation to civilian populace, just as there were many types of Pirates no matter what World Government said.

It was due to this that she gave Marines she encountered a benefit of doubt.

That was her first mistake.

Honestly, though, she knew there were some brutes out there, but to physically attack a seven year old was over the top. She didn't even bump into them or anything and being addressed as 'Hey you' didn't really clue her in that they were talking to her.

Jana returned home with a broken arm and an angry expression. Her parents panicked in short order, but only looked resigned when she said that it was the Marines.

That was the day she learned that her grandfather had been a pirate.

She also learned that Marines looked for any excuse to bring their family down. Villagers around here didn't like the Marines either, especially since they knew the Sable family and had no issue over long dead pirate relative. It was a small town, a close knit community.

Even if they had issues with each other, they had more beef with the Government.

Marines excused this as prevention. Keeping an eye on them in case any of them decided to turn pirate. Her parents' worry over her injuries looked to gain more weight with every moment.

It was the city dwellers who helped her once they heard her scream out from the pain; they escorted her back home after filing a complaint against the Marines. Her parents thanked them, but didn't expect it to go though, these things never did they said.

It was the first time they inflicted a serious bodily injury to a member of the family and her father worried that it might escalate.

That was the reason he introduced a broader training routine into Jana's schedule. Her elder sisters used to have their own when they were her age, but they were also less prone to getting in trouble.

Jana thought that this was the issue of her mental and physical age difference because she tended to mis-estimate danger.

It happened many times, but it was this time that she didn't manage to escape. Not that Jana made any mention of those previous times, not wanting to worry anyone, but it was this time that such an error was brought to her attention violently.

Three months passed since then. During the first month Jana shied away from people more than ever and her family fretted that her trust in people was broken irreparably.

What they didn't realize that it was her trust in herself that had been broken.

Jana grew more and more uncertain of her own knowledge of people, interactions and emotions.

Because, why couldn't she read the situation that time-why couldn't she see?!

It was Luca, her dog, who saved her. It was him who really saved her. Her family saw him bring her out of her shell, but they didn't see the whole picture.

Jana learned quickly that Luca was a good judge of character, he could smell it, sense it, whatever it was that he could do; he could definitely tell people's intentions. Jana let him take the wheel.

Everywhere she went Luca followed and Jana took cues from him.

From his slanted ears, bristling fur, bared teeth or low growls. She attuned herself and her observations according to him and pulled through.

Joe Mazzello! x Reader!

Summary: Being a young, single mom that worked full-time was hard. When you weren’t working, you were taking care of your five year old daughter, Lily. You had given up on dating after many failed attempts. That was until after a rough day of dealing with your ex boyfriend, your best friend introduced you to Joe.

“Date night, huh?” Jana asked, leaning against the counter of the nurses station.

“Yes, so would you be willing to keep Lily for the night?” you asked. It had been a while since you and Joe had gone out, just the two of you, so you decided tonight would be a good night for that. It was a Friday night, so Lily didn’t have school the following day, and neither did you or Jana.

“Of course,” Jana replied, “David and I would love to spend some quality time with her.”

“I know she’ll be excited,” you smiled, “thanks. I feel like it’s been so long since we could have a night on our own.”

“So, what’s the plan?” Kristen asked, walking behind the counter, “dinner? Movie?”

“I think we’re just getting some take out and watching a movie at his house,” you said, “nothing too fancy.”

It was finally the end of the work day, so you finished up your reports and headed to your car to leave to pick up Lily from school.

“How was school?” you asked her when she got in.

“Good,” she answered, “I colored a lot.”

“That’s fun,” you smiled, “hey, Aunt Jana and Uncle David are gonna watch you tonight, okay?”

“Why?” she asked, cocking her head to the side.

“Joey and I are going to have some adult time,” you said. You looked at her through the rearview mirror and caught her rolling her eyes, “what’s that for?”

“Sounds booooring, mom,” she said, then perking up, “but, I’m excited to see Aunt Jana again!”

“What about Uncle David?” you laughed, parking the car when you arrived at your apartment.

“Him, too, but Aunt Jana can paint my nails,” she said. The two of you got out of the car and headed inside.

“Thanks again for watching her,” you said to Jana when she opened the door and Lily ran inside.

“We’ll have so much fun,” she answered, “right, Lils?”

“Right!” Lily yelled from the other room.

“Have fun, be safe, wrap it before you tap it,” Jana said, causing a laugh to emit from your lips.

“We haven’t had sex yet,” you laughed, “I haven’t had it since I was still with Chad.”

“Well, what’s the hold up?” she asked, putting a hand on her hip.

“I’m nervous,” you said, “what if I forgot how?”

“Oh, PLEASE!” she said, rolling her eyes, “you...don’t forget how, (Y/N).”

“Well, I don’t know!” you laughed, “okay, I’m leaving. Bye, Lily!”

“Bye!” She yelled, then came running over to you and gave you a hug, “I love you!”

“I love you, too,” you smiled, leaning down and kissing her head, “be good, okay?”

“I always am,” she giggled, then ran back to the living room.

“Have fuuuuun,” Jana smirked, causing you to laugh as you walked back to your car, then headed to Joe’s.

A short while later, you arrived at Joe’s house. You parked the car and headed up to the door, gently knocking when you reached it. Not too long after, Joe opened the door, greeting you with a huge smile across his face.

“Hello, my love,” he said, pulling you into his chest and kissing the top of your head.

“Hi,” you smiled against him, returning the hug then leaning up and kissing him, “I missed you.”

“Missed you more,” he smiled, pressing another kiss to your lips, then pulling you inside.

“So, what’s the plan?” you asked, setting your purse down by the door, then following Joe to the living room and taking a seat on the couch.

“Well,” he started, sitting next to you and wrapping an arm around the back of the couch, “I was thinking getting some chinese food delivered to us so we don’t have to go anywhere. Then, putting a movie on while we eat.”

“Your movie?” you asked. After three months of dating, Joe still hadn’t shown you Undrafted, and you were eager to see it. He always talked about it with such pride and you thought it was the cutest thing.

“If you want to,” he shrugged, smiling. You nodded eagerly, causing him to chuckle.

“Of course I do,” you smiled, laying your head against him, “gotta support my boyfriend.”

You borrowed a pair of Joe’s sweatpants and changed into them as he placed the food delivery order. While he was ordering it, you sat back down on the couch and pulled a blanket over your lap, waiting for him to finish.

“Okay,” he said, walking back into the living room, “food’s ordered. Shouldn’t be too long.”

“Great,” you smiled, then patted the spot next to you, “come snuggle.” He took the spot next to you and you laid against him, with him lazily tracing your arm up and down. About a half hour later, the food had arrived. Joe got up and answered the door, then carried in the bags of to-go containers as the aroma of lo mein and chicken fried rice filled the air. He set the bags on the coffee table, then went to put the movie on. You sorted through the bags and divided up the food, grabbing the chopsticks and starting to eat. The movie started and Joe came and sat back down next to you, taking his chopsticks and started eating.

“Why is he so angry all the time?” you asked, laughing at Joe’s character, Pat Murray. The two of you had eaten every single bite of the food, and the coffee table was covered in the empty to-go containers, and you were both now snuggled up on the couch under a blanket and watching the movie.

“Just is,” he chuckled, tracing your arm up and down just as he was doing earlier.

“You’re cute when you’re angry,” you said, bringing your hand up to play with the hair on the nape of his neck.

“You think so?” he smiled. You nodded in response and laid your head against him, causing him to immediately kiss the top of your head.

The movie came to an end, and a few stray tears rolled down your cheek. Joe noticed and immediately wiped them away.

“Why are you crying, my love?” he asked, letting his hand rest on your cheek.

“‘Cause it was really good,” you laughed, wiping another tear away with your other hand, “I’m really proud of you.”

“That means the world to me coming from you,” he said, then kissed you passionately.

“I love you,” you breathed out, pressing your forehead against his.

“Love you more,” he said, then pulled back, letting his hand rest on your thigh, “hey! Let’s read our fortune cookies now.”

“Good idea,” you smiled, then reaching over to the coffee table and grabbing the two cookies, handing one to Joe. He opened his, popping the cookie into his mouth and taking the fortune in his hands.

“What does it say?” you asked, curious to know the answer.

“The love of your life will appear in front of you unexpectedly,” he read, a small smile spreading across his face, then looking over at you, “don’t know about unexpectedly, but here you are.”

“You’re sweet,” you said, returning the smile and placing a kiss to his cheek.

“What about yours?” he asked, finishing up the cookie, and setting the fortune down on the table. You ripped open the wrapper and broke the cookie, setting it aside and taking the fortune out. You scanned the small slip of paper and let out a small laugh.

“You will soon get unexpected kisses in unexpected places,” you read, raising an eyebrow and looking over at him, “is that so?”

“Depends,” he shrugs, moving closer to you, “would you want unexpected kisses in unexpected places?”

A chill ran up your spine as the words came out of his mouth. The closer his face got to yours, the more focused you got on his lips. A hand went up to his hair and an audible gulp escaped your throat.

“Mhmm,” you nodded, staring intently at his lips, biting your bottom one. You laid back on the couch, with Joe hovering over you, steadying himself with his arms on either side of your side. In an instant, your lips were connected once again, your hands running through his hair as one of his found its way under your shirt. You shivered at the contact; his cold hand against your warm bare, growing hotter by the second. His lips made their way down, first to your jaw, then slowly to your neck, where they reached the spot right above your collarbone, causing a whimper to emit from your lips.

“C’mon,” Joe practically growled, his lips disconnecting from the spot as he stood up, picking you up with him, “bedroom.”

You held onto him, wrapping your legs around his torso, leaving little love bites all over his neck. He carried you all the way to his room, gently tossing you onto the bed. He crawled onto the bed, hovering over you once again. You held onto the hem of his shirt and pulled it up, taking it off and throwing it to the ground.

“Don’t need these,” he said, holding onto the waistband of the sweatpants you had borrowed and tugging at them. You lifted your hips slightly and he pulled them off with ease, throwing them to the ground where his shirt now resided. He pulled your shirt off of you, throwing it to the floor as well, leaving you in just a bra and panties.

“So beautiful,” he breathed out, attaching his lips to your neck once more, slowly making his way down to your breasts. He managed to get your bra off, with a little help from you, and peppered the area with kisses and love bites, before doing the same to your torso, then pulling your panties down to your ankles. Scenes We Needed (Morning After)

He flips over onto his back and places both arms behind his head as he watches her. She moves around the room in the early sunlight picking out clothes from her closet. The fact that she’s butt ass naked and completely comfortable being that way in front of him puts a huge smile on his face.

“What?” She asks him quickly pulling on a bra and a bright blue sweater.

“Nothing. Just taking a mental picture. Won’t see you like this for awhile.” He says simply smiling even wider.

“Ugh, don’t remind me.”She groans before yanking on some panties and an acid wash pair of jeans.

Liv tugs on her discarded boots from last night then climbs across the top of the bed towards him and kisses him hard. She wants to remember every inch of him too. They pull apart eventually and she sneaks another kiss to the tip of his nose.

“I gotta go,” she pants, her forehead against his, a smile she can’t seem to get rid of on her face. “See you when you get back?”

“First thing.” He says and it seems like he’s unwilling to let her go but eventually his arms loosen from around her.

The girls are waiting when she comes out of her room. She gives Ralph and Esra long hugs and laughs as they caution her to the dangers of traveling alone as a woman like her parents. Liv can’t seem to keep looking back at her bedroom door waiting for Noah to come out but he doesn’t. So after awhile she and the girls leave. They are in the courtyard of her building when Liv stops dead in her tracks.

“What’s the matter?” Isa asks concerned.

“Maybe she’s having trouble walking after last night?” Jana jokes.

“You ok, Liv?” Engel jumps in hitting Jana on the arm.

“Yeah, I just forgot something. I’ll be right back.”

Liv drops her heavy bag right where she stands and runs back to her apartment. She jabs the up button for the elevator but when it takes too long she heads to the stairs. She climbs them with the same speed as she did last night when Noah was chasing her. She is digging for her keys in her pockets when her door swings open and Noah steps out into the hallway. He looks up and spots her and without a word she races towards him and launches herself into his arms, her legs wrapping around his waist.

“What are you-“ he laughs supporting her weight.

“I love you,” She blurts out.

Her heart picks up to triple it’s normal pace at her own words. He must know how she feels but it’s still amazing actually saying it out loud.

“I love you too.” Noah says back with no hesitation.

She leans in and their mouths meet. He holds her up tight in his arms as their mouths move against each other’s perfectly in sync, like always. And after they kiss they lean their foreheads against each other’s, their smiles wide and happy. She leaves a little after that and on her walk back to her girls Liv can’t stop smiling. Because she knows that nothing can separate them, not even them being in two different places. She loves him and he loves her and that is all that matters.

So, you’d been laying on the couch for those two hours drowning yourself in textbooks and college papers. You were nearly at the end when Kyle came from his Target-run prancing in the living room of your “shared” apartment. Home Server Rack Basic Explanation of Everything

Hey guys what's up

its Jacob here and today I'm going to be doing the first video of my server rack I'm probably going to go into a ton of videos regarding this rack but just so you guys know this is the first one I'm basically just going to cover the very basics of it because I'm going to go into many videos of this explaining exactly how every single box is set up and I'm going to show you guys what a jana just how everything's set up and I'll probably make another video after this showing the network topology of how everything's hooked up and whatnot and then we'll go into how each conservers can figure through Linux and what each one is doing.

So I'm basically just going to pop this open will open up the rack and I'll show you guys what's inside them basically what each box is for the general basics of what they're for and then later on we'll go into exactly the details of everything so I'm just going to do a very general rundown of it sorry if it's very loud guys um there's a lot of stuff in here that's running actually there's only one server running but the firewall is very loud as well as the one server that's running but I'm sure you guys can still hear me so basically we have the internet coming in up here okay this is Time Warner a fifteen down one make up not very fast right now but it does for what I'm doing soon when I get my website up which I do plan on doing that soon.

I'll talk about that in another video but I'm gonna be hosting my website myself from these servers I'm probably gonna have to upgrade the internet to a little bit faster up speed because one megabit per second is just not gonna cut it for a while this was my main firewall isn't it here a wireless router but it's no longer the main firewall so the lan comes out of here so when our wagon comes out of here can go to the cable modem and it goes down into this firewall.

This here's the way online so this here is just a Citrix access gateway on when I bought it it was imaged for an access gateway and it's no longer an access gateway more because i walked it now it has pf Sense on it so it's running pf Sense to point whatever-the-hell diversions out right now but um so basically it's just a firewall server but this does a lot more than the firewall it's also a DHCP it also has proxy in casing and stuff like that so it's very it does a lot this box does a lot um it's very noisy as you can hear um anyways our wind comes in here and it does the firewall and all the proxy servers and stuff and it puts it out.

Then it comes out here so this is also our gateway um this assigns DHCP addresses to everything that's DHCP it also assigns the static addresses to all the servers that are acquiring the static address it comes out of the via box here this is still basically a LAN but it's not quite a LAN it comes out of there and it goes into the outside length of this package packet ear package shaper this basically allows us to I'm not going to get into the details of this but yeah I'll do a whole another video on this box in itself because it's really cool these two boxes can do a lot they're very very powerful but this basically um allows me to set limits on network.

I can see every little bit of traffic between which website how much traffic over a period of 1 minute an hour a day a week I think it even goes up to a year maybe a month or whatever you can see where all your traffic spike so it's very very handy for finding out where all your traffic where all your a packets and stuff are going on this little router appears not set up for anything that's just kind of chill in there anyways um a lot of this stuff isn't actually on right now just my file server this Dell PowerEdge 14:25 but um right here this is a NetScaler made by citrix again citrix NetScaler this box here is a load balancer so it's going to load balance all my front-end of patchy servers as of now the website that I'm going to launch for the forum site to go to my youtube channel is currently running on this server it serves not running right now but it will be soon and the websites going to start running out start out ranked on this.

Dell poweredge 1750 so I'm going to use these two guys as Dell PowerEdge 1750s they all have three hard drives in them this one has 36 gig hard drives this one has 173 be hard drives are configured in raid 5 so those are going to be the front end web Apache servers they're both have the lamp on them and they would be load balanced through this load balancer and I'll get into how all that set up later will show you again we'll shade it topology graphs how everything's hooked up and I'll show you how we set up load balancing and all that to set up a very large network down here is the Dell PowerEdge 1850 it's got raid 1 so it's got a hard disk here the hard disk here those are 173 gigabyte hard drives again 10,000 rpm this right now it's not really running anything.

I just yesterday started putting squid proxy on it so it's probably going to be a casing server to run cache for the web proxies or for the web servers so that we can speed up are the serve times for the web pages it will probably have a local proxy as well as a reverse proxy to speed up serving web pages from these servers the reverse proxy will help assist these servers will take a load off these servers and serve web pages faster to the clients of the website this down here is my dell poweredge 2950 it's got um six hard drives in it so it's supporting a 7200 rpm each of them are 750 gigs this is basically where I store all my you know foreign illegal movies stuff like that it's all on that server right there for now it has a lot of like movies and videos and stuff and probably the video that you're watching right now is going to probably be stored on this server um as of now it's like 75% full which is actually quite amazing because it's got like 3.6 or something like that terabytes of space usable space and I've used like a lot of it most of its movies so I'm going to have to clear that out soon because when I am launch my website on these servers they're gonna on they're going to although this the website will be hosted from these.

it'll have a case here will have a MySQL server which will probably also be on this the main my skills are real also beyond the 1850 and then all the big files that people upload all the attachments and all the file sharing stuff I'm going to have on the site just going to go to.

Dell PowerEdge 2950 because it's got a lot of space for that and then this guy up here is my own cloud server I use it for own cloud and it also runs just a little basic like file stores and stuff it's got to 750 gigabyte what do you call it say does in there and those are running at 7200 rpm just the same exact drives that are in this and it's in raid one so everything here is redundant there's no raid zero going on here we don't mess around that kind of stuff so basically a back up to the top here um I never explained once once it gets out of this package shaper so we come out of this firewall here goes into the packet shaper then it comes out of the package shaper this here is just a management fork to the pack of shaper as you can see see if we can get in on it says management so that right there is just to manage it and through a web browser and see all the stats of the packet shaper let's see if I can get in on the screen there on all how well but you can see that I have the shaping off right now but it shows right what's really cool about this box as you can see in real-time megabits per second up and down so I can see all the traffic flowing through the network at all times that little graph right there it shows in megabits per second the traffic going in and out of the network at any given time.

So that's really cool it's got even more advanced graphs in real time or over a period of time that you can access the web browser that's what this box does so once it goes in it just basically loops through and now this is our internet line it's given DHCP addresses by this box our firewall and that goes all the way up into this Netgear switch so this is 100 megabits which 24 port and this basically connects all the servers we also have these little wires here which are going to fiber-optics these are just going to various devices throughout the house computers and stuff like that media devices it just it's a way of pursuing a fast connection not Wireless but about a LAN connection through the house but very far for fiber-optic so that's what that's for and those are just going into a switch right here and basically I mean these are all servers right here all the server network cards these are the first port on all my servers all these servers have two network cards here so um the first network card is plugged in right here this is how to megabit stuff right here this is all hunter megabit and then coming out of there you can see all the servers are plugged in and then just the wireless router or up here is also plugged in there so it can get internet access and then there's also a printer and stuff like that so that's all plugged in there but then you can see there's this red cable this red cable links up into another switch this switch right here is a d-link let's see if I can get in on that it's a d-link PGs 10,080 and see if I can I just got this camera today guys so I really don't know how to focus it um I don't know hopefully that's good enough but take my word for it that thing is a d d GS 1018 let's a friend here it's a gigabit switch and basically the second network card on all these servers is plugged in through there.I have this so that it can get internet access they can get in access on that second network card in case they need to but this is basically.

so that I can communicate from one server to another and shoot files between them very fast so gigabit so if they were all plugged into this which they would only have minor megabit but this way we can get internet access and all that and serve up web pages and stuff 300 megabit and do all the web services through there and if I want to communicate from server to server we have a gigabit connection between each of the servers second port on their network cards so server one through five and then this is the load balancer I have a load balancer plugged in here too so the load balancer has two plugs it has a one going into the hunter mega base and one going into the gigabit switch and then there's five servers and they all have a port here - so five ports for the server's load balancer and the added access into this switch so that's pretty much it this box appears just to spare fiber-optic convertor so that means basically just throwing a copper line right there puts out a fiber port right there and you can convert it on the other end here's another fiber optic convertor just spare hard drives and crap but this is what would be on the other end you know you have your fiber optics come in here and we convert it back into copper and there's a little low fiber up the converters this here's another if I were up the converter just first which is kind of big a bit under maybe bit just stuff laying around just for whatever that's pretty much it for everything that's in this Rack Server and how it's what basically everything is going to do or what it already does did so I go over one more time the two web servers the caching and Apache are sorry the caching and MySQL will be stored here.

Then load balancer package shaper file server file server this is more like a cloud servers for own cloud so I mean like I can I use my iPhone and backup all my iPhone photos and everything to that right there this one's for like storing big Mucho Macho files that come from these web servers that people will upload to my website in the firewall of course that's the firewall box right there so that's pretty much it for this one guys I would show you back of it but it's kind of a pain in the a to pull out right now and show you the back of it there's all the power cables yes there are three power strips on the EPS right now obviously that UPS doesn't run on all this but the UPS is basically just going to run the firewall the packet shaper and the switches as well as the modem and a wireless router so it keeps all of our internet connections up if the power goes out but it doesn't actually keep any of the servers themselves running it just keeps the essential stuff to keep up the internet connection in the house if the power goes out and it doesn't go out quite often here just mainly because circuit breakers trip but besides that our power is actually very reliable here in Southern California but that's pretty much it for this one guys hope you enjoyed it and as always guys have a good one umm I'll definitely be making more videos soon on this Rack Server and very great detail I'll show you guys how all those are set up but that's it for now guys like I always have a good one

Autumn means different things to different people, but sometimes they converge — at the Denver Zoo’s Taps and Tails Bier Hall, for example, a 21-plus evening mashing up changing colors, harvest-season eats and Oktoberfest brews with spooky, Halloweenish touches. Visit the zoo, on the north side of City Park, to enjoy an all-Colorado pop-up bier hall with brewer meet-and-greets, live entertainment nightly hosted by comedian Janae Burris, food vendors and a chance to explore the spirits in an immersive Enchanted Hollows night walk. Horror-film fans can enjoy a final fall adventure wrapped up in a scream fest at the Telluride Horror Show, which touts itself as Colorado’s first and longest-running event of its kind. Head for the hills and get a head start on Halloween from Friday, October 12, through Sunday, October 14, at three Telluride locations: the Nugget Theatre, the Palm Theatre and the historic Sheridan Opera House. Twenty feature films and fifty shorts will roll throughout the weekend; a highlight this year is the thirtieth-anniversary screening of the cult classic Killer Klowns From Outer Space, with director Stephen Chiodo on hand. Nearly a century after Germany and the Allied Powers signed the armistice that brought an end to what was then called the Great War, the Colorado Wind Ensemble joins forces with Voices West to present Songs of Democracy: A Commemoration of World War I. Howard Hanson’s rousing "Song of Democracy," which pairs Walt Whitman verses with a soaring neo-romantic score, forms the centerpiece of a concert program rounded out by Gustav Holst’s First Suite in E Flat, David Gillingham’s "Heroes Lost and Fallen" and Robert Spittal’s "Hymn for Peace." As the 40 West Arts District continues to grow, the resident artists of the Glens, Lakewood’s oldest neighborhood — just a mile and a half west of 40 West along Colfax Avenue — invite you to meet them in their natural habitat during the fourth annual Glens Art Walk and Open Studios. Visit with 27 artists in ten home studios in the area from Kipling Street to Wadsworth Boulevard between Colfax and 20th avenues, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 13. Wares on view, which vary in style and medium, include Halloween folk art, hand-painted silk scarves, jewelry, collages, illustrations, locally sourced honey and even handmade violins. Pupusas originated in Salvadoran home kitchens, where the simple ingredients — pancake-like griddled corn-masa tortillas and a selection of stuffings ranging from melted cheese to beans or meat — are combined by hand, with a little love thrown in. Topped with a heaping pile of curtido (pickled cabbage slaw) and a thin, fiery salsa, pupusas are comfort food of the highest degree: Mom’s home cooking elevated to perfection. Maker Faire Denver 2018 showcases all of the above, plus dozens of other maker niches in a grand display that shows off the pliability of the human mind with immersive experiences, ever-popular robot wars, drone races, hands-on activities, classic cars, electric cupcake rides, tinkering demonstrations, LEGO workshops and more, ad infinitum. Even the constantly expanding universe can hardly contain its love for Neil deGrasse Tyson, a Columbia-educated astrophysicist and director of the Hayden Planetarium who’s emerged as an unlikely yet ubiquitous pop-culture figure. Tyson, who humbly assumed the mantle of his late mentor, Carl Sagan, with Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey (a companion piece to Sagan’s mind-blowing 1980 miniseries of the same name), is also a reliably quippy fixture of late-night talk shows and always willing to show up for an amusing cameo in such movies as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time. Cosmos may not return until 2019, but you don’t have to wait to see Tyson: At 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 15, he’ll be at the Bellco Theatre, in the Colorado Convention Center, to present An Astrophysicist Goes to the Movies, a good-natured fact-check of cinema that doesn’t necessarily hold up to scientific scrutiny. Now that we’re firmly within the new year, Paul Hanford gazes into his crystal ball and predicts the biggest music trends that will dominate 2017.

2016 frequently felt more like an extortionately long and brutal episode of Game of Thrones than a year in the 21st century. Twelve months ago, would any of us have actually believed a Twitter troll could become President of the USA, or that we’d be mourning the loss of so many musical icons?

Yet, in times of hardship, art gets to work and does what it’s supposed to: confound expectations, innovates and inspires.With that in mind, and with creativity and tech fusing more and more, 2017 could very well emerge as a golden era for music.

Here are 10 music trends that will blow up or continue to rise in the next twelve months:

Music Will Be Released in More and More Unconventional Ways

From Rihanna’s Anti to Beyonce’s Lemonade and all the way back to T.I.’s Us Or Else: Letter To The System, 2016 was all about the unexpected album drop. As the influence of established record companies and their big pre-release marketing campaigns continues to disintegrate, over the next twelve months the unexpected album drop will pale in comparison to the kind of immersive approaches re-shaping the very concept of what an album can be.

Take, for example, London-based Beatie Wolfe, who balances the timeless romantic song-craft of her music with distribution methods that have attracted a salivating tech community and resulted in her getting a TED platform and Wired column inches.

Already, she’s released a single as a musical jacket and an album as a series of digitally interactive cards, and, in 2017, she’ll be taking experiential-as-an-art-form further, collaborating with award winning Designers I/O (of MOMA and Tate Modern fame) and inventors Bell Labs to release her next song cycle.

Grime Will Cement Its Greencard

There was a time when UK hip-hop felt to the rest of the world like one of those nodding bulldogs people put in the backs of their cars: charming, but ultimately pointless.

Now, although Grime has taken the better part of this century to spread its wings abroad, the visa has finally come through. Mercury Prize winner Skepta is on Kanye’s speed-dial; Drake handpicked South London’s piano-playing rapper Dave for his latest mixtape; The New York Times treated Stormzy’s stateside appearances with awe and AJ Tracey is way up high in many 2017 ones-to-watch lists. Grime arrived stateside over the last couple of years, and this trend is set to continue.

Get Used to Hearing the Word “Experiential”

Let’s talk about adverts. Can you remember the last time on YouTube you actually thought, “I won’t press skip in five seconds because I really, really want to watch this ad?” Me neither.

Companies know we’ll use ad-blockers, remove cookies and do pretty much anything else to avoid our streaming pleasures being interrupted, so they’re having to work far more insidiously to grab our attention. All of this has lead to “experiential” becoming as big a buzzword as its more culturally-aligned sister, “immersive”. Basically, experiential advertising places the would-be consumer in an immersive, branded experience.

In 2016, Heineken released plans for a new campaign called “Takeover,” allowing wearers of customized Heineken wrist-bands to control the DJ’s music at festivals. Experiential pioneers like Red Bull have been fusing the lines between creative output and branded content for years, and in 2017 this will be the main battleground on which advertisers will fight for music fans’ attention.

The Times They Are A-Changin’

Whether it’s PIL’s mantra, “anger is an energy!” or NWA rallying against the LAPD with “Fuck tha Police”, difficult political climates have always fueled rebellious creativity. Even prior to his election win, there was a surge of anti-Trump music in 2016, from YG’s “Fuck Donald Trump” to alt-lit god Dave Egger’s 30 Days, 30 Songs project.

With hairy has-beens Ted Nugent and Kid Rock the only musicians willing to play at Trump’s inauguration, his administration team are reportedly offering seven digit figures for more credible artists to play. As of now, nobody is up for it.

In 2017, be prepared for ubiquitous Trump slurs in your favorite artists’ releases.

Pop Stars Are Now Younger Than Windows 98

Pop has always been a youthful genre, but given that a member of The Lemon Twigs was younger than Windows 98 (just 14 years old!) when they started making their album, musical sophistication is arriving earlier and earlier. 18-year-old South London rapper Dave also attracted the attention of Drake last year, who remixed his “Wanna Know” track, and 17-year-old indie-electro musician Declan McKenna has been receiving accolades for his work, too.

In 2017, pop stars will make increasingly complex and interesting work at ever-younger ages.

The (Beginning of the) Death of Bro Culture

Could 2017 be the death knell of bro culture within EDM? In the traditionally male-dominated field, nine of Mixmag’s “Top Twenty Breakthrough DJs of 2016” were female, which signals a positive trend for 2017.

In the year that saw the passing of Bowie (the original androgynous rebel), we also witnessed the astronomic rise of Anohni; and with artists like Jana Hunter from LA’s atmospheric rock band Lower Dens describing themselves as “gender non-binary” and New York’s queer-core rockers PWR BTTM continuing to rise, we could be on the crest of a golden age of gender and sexual acceptance within music.

The Return of Bowie?

Picture the scene: you’re in the midst of Daft Punk’s set at, say, Coachella. Halfway through, like a resurrecting John Snow, David Bowie rises up on the stage. Before you can pinch yourself, he’s ripping into “Let’s Dance” with gallic robots grooving behind him.

Sounds crazy, right? Yet, ever since Tupac rose from the dead to duet with Snoop and Dre at Coachella in 2012, holograms have been hot, and as with VR, tech companies are channeling vast research into this area. Japan already has its own totally holographic pop-star, the “16-year-old” Hatsune Miku.

Bowie, always ahead of the times, appeared in hologram form at the AIR Gallery in West London over decade ago. We’re predicting he’ll be back in hologram form in 2017, along with – hopefully! – Prince, George Michael and Phife Dawg.

Drake Will Continue to Drake

One thing will not change in the coming year: Drake’s dominance. From his game-changing deal with Apple to his categorization of his forthcoming work, More Life, as a playlist rather than an album, Drake encompasses the streaming age like no other artist.

With over a billion plays of the Apple-financed “Hotline Bling” video, Drake could pretty much spend the next twelve months occasionally streaming the sound of himself breaking wind without doing any harm to his career whatsoever. 2017 will be another big year for the polarizing Canadian rapper.

Algorithms Will Be Everywhere

In November 2016, Google Play Music released a list of 10 acts “expected to be huge in 2017.” What made their poll different from the flurry of predictions from every tastemaker, style brand and music publication is the fact that it was constructed from a combination of streaming stats, YouTube subscribers, track performances and the instincts of some Google Play specialists.

Predictably for a list largely derived from algorithms, it took less risks than an Ed Sheeran chord change. However, in these uncertain political times, can we really blame Google Play Music for not venturing a bold, original opinion? In 2017, you can be sure the easy algorithm opt-out will prevail.

People Will buy Records and Listen to Cool Shit

In December 2016, for the first time, sales of vinyl in the UK outstripped download sales. This doesn’t mean that your average teen is walking around car boot sales foraging for Pink Floyd re-issues, though. Rather, it signals that vast numbers of people are streaming rather than buying.

Whatever crazy app war may kick off between Spotify and whoever else is vying for our streaming attention, boutique record labels such as Domino and Warp will continue to survive by running a tight ship and maintaining a carefully-crafted roster of artists. In 2017, the underground will continue to throw up fresh, out-of-nowhere sounds and new genres will rise and fall in the blink of a refresh button.
