so i'm relistening to Bridgewater season 1 and i was looking at the real Bridgewater Triangle wiki page and the map of the area and out of curiosity i cross-referenced the area with this travel map of Supernatural and noticed that while Dean (and Sam) never ventured into the triangle they got close when they visited Providence, Rhode Island which is just over 10 miles away from the closest corner of the triangle on the other side of the Massachusetts state line, and why were they in Providence? well, the episode was 2x13 Houses of the Holy ie. the very first angels ep where Dean (a seasoned supernatural hunter) didn't believe in angels even though they later turned out to be real. meanwhile Bridgewater focuses on a seasoned folklore professor living in the Bridgewater Triangle who doesn't believe in the supernatural even though it later turns out to be real and is played by the actor who plays the angel Castiel who is the first real angel Dean meets.

Ah and as previously suspected, the Southern Empire has a bit, and by bit I mean big, of a political corruption problem when it comes to just existing. I am curious as to whether it was built that way or whether it simply devolved into that overtime.
That being said, it makes sense as to why Sirius refuses his place on the throne and why there's been a theme of Damocles throughout this questline so far. Good men and women like Sirius don't always last long in political systems that demand that one be curel, corrupt, and amoral just to survive. Leading to them either being ineffective, dead, or becoming something they themselves would look upon with disgust to keep the system running as is.
Worst part here though is that becoming emperor might not be a choice Sirius has. As Kassandra pointed out the Imperial family seems to a vested interest in Sirius being bound to the Sword of Inanitas in spite of the limitations it imposes on his very being.
Coupled that with fact that Fear Sirius asserts that wielding the sword will allow Sirius to rule unopposed brings me to a conclusion. It is likely in my view that the Imperial family sees the Celestial artifact as a means of ruling by virtue of might more than anything and judging by the fact that no one in the family has been able to use the sword since Sirius would seem to mean the power they hold over their empire isn't what it used to be and are desperate to have something maintain that hold or they're just tired of the politicking they normally employ to get what they need or want.
Meaning they will certainly try and force Sirius to either rule or at least keep him within reach of the Empire.
Which brings me to Kassandra. In spite of what we just learned about the cause of her parents death, I'm not fully convinced that the Imperial family didn't have a role in their deaths yet. Whether it be putting them in the sights of this Aker'varus or some other way, it feels way too convenient that the family that runs on corruption and sacrifices just happened to no longer have two of the only people that were researching for a way to have Inanitas' sword removed from Sirius against their wishes, especially if its true they are desperate to have someone in the family have access to the sword's magic.
Either way this might further put a wrench in Kassandra's plan to leave the empire for good. I can't see them allowing her to leave if they have to enough awareness to know that she's one of the few people that could be used to coerce Sirius, in a way that's against him I should add, into ruling.

i think spy family is the first time i have heard chichi and haha used to refer to parents, so given anya’s age and demeanour, i assumed it was a very childish form of address, but it seems to be the other way round? (sort of)
as far as i can glean, you use those when referring to your own parents to other people in formal conversation, so although it’s technically formal, it’s still highlighting anya’s childishness because she’s using it grammatically incorrectly (and sad because it shows that she hasnt rly had a chance to pick up on the language you would use when talking to your own parents (apart from when she is retraumatised that one time and says mama in reference to her biological mother))

idk if you're still doing the made up fic title ask game, but if you still are
"romance, magic, and an excessive amount of blood."
for fire emblem awakening
YOU /pos
LITERALLY ROTATING AT 2 AM OVER THIS- This is my first ask game request thingy! 🛐
Okay first I wanna say that I accidentally didn't see 'Awakening' and read only 'Fire Emblem' so my first thought was "Oh, Linhardt" but I digress- stuffing everything under a 'read more' so I don't make the thickest block of text ever /lh
I'd probably give that title to a Chrom!Morgan-centric fic, the name just strikes me like that and also I haven't written any actual Chrobin stuff before and it sounds fun to me lol. It could be a longfic about Morgan getting yoinked from his world and dropped into a new one, trying to piece his life together, except after Robin gets obliterated by Grima death shenanigans. Romance? Figuring out who your parents are through second-hand stories and learning of their history together. Magic? Morgan is a magic child and the only member of the Exalt family still there who uses combative magic. And an excessive amount of blood? Morgan would have both Holy and Fell Dragon blood in his veins so even without dropping into horror there's already an excessive amount of blood that could be figuratively played around with. I could see world-building too on what process led up to Robin's creation and Morgan personally setting out to reunite the family. It's implied Lucina just peaces out after Awakening's story ends so that could be a thing too.
My brain is churning so hard on this. I might roll this idea around my brain grooves if it sticks for a while. Also I've been studying how other people have answered things like this and some people have theoretical summary blurbs. I'm gonna make one too because woaa it's 2:20 AM now and I have Energy™
It's been a few years since the fall of Grima and now the Halidom of Ylisse rests peacefully once again, save for a lost tactician. With vague memories of a white-haired mage, amnesiac Morgan sets out to find someone by the name of 'Chrom', who he suspects might have some answers to his questions.
