While watching a rebels panel & hearing Dave talk about the selfless sacrifice both Kanan & Ezra made it got me thinking about how Sabine chose the selfish path by wanting Ezra back so bad that she put the rest of the galaxy at risk. She already is facing consequences of that cause now she is separated from Ezra AGAIN the one thing she desperately wanted. But there’s more coming & eventually Sabine will have to make the selfless decision. One moment where everything Kanan, Ezra & Ahsoka have taught her all seamlessly clicks. And I’m scared 😅

Edit: apparently this needs to be said THIS IS NOT A SABINE BASH POST!!!!! I love Sabine & I understand what she did. It was very human but not the Jedi thing to do & that’s what this whole post is about. And I personally think as of right now that from a story standpoint they are setting up Sabine to have a Kanan/Ezra moment. If you don’t agree with me cool but leave me alone 😎

I love his smile, I love his hair, I love his eyes, I love the scars on his cheek, I love the medieval nomad hermit knight look he's got going on with the hand crafted armour and I absolutely love this hug ahhhhhhh😍😍😍😍

Because I want one, just ONE Star Wars romance to NOT end in tragedy.

Anakin and Padme: Padme dies, Anakin turns to the Dark Side

Obi-Wan and Satine: Satine dies, Obi-Wan gets depressed

Ahsoka and Lux: Lux loses interest and moves on to a different girl

Lux and Steela: Steela dies, Lux gets depressed

Ventress and Quinlan Vos: Ventress dies saving Vos, Vos gets depressed

Kanan and Hera: Kanan dies saving Hera, Hera gets depressed

Han and Leia: They break up, Han dies, Leia dies

Ben and Rey: Rey dies, Ben sacrifices himself to bring her back, Ben dies

And probably many more I'm missing, but these are the biggest ones.

Sure, there are SOME romances that end with both being alive and happy (Iden Versio and Del Meeko, Cal Kestis and Merrin) but the vast, vast, VAST majority are tragic, and I'm sick of it. And yes, some little happiness may have come out of a few of these romances, at the very end (Anakin being redeemed, Hera gives birth to Jacen, Ben is redeemed), but that's not what I'm looking for. Ezra and Sabine have the best chance at having a happy ending with neither dying and I'm going to die on that hill.

sabine and ezra are so fun because they both view THEMSELVES as the sidekick. 'my cringefail brother is an ancient sorcerer' vs 'my cringefail sister is a badass warrior'. like sabine thinks she needs to fight for lothal for ezra, cause he sacrificed himself for it, and ezra asks her to fight for lothal because he sees that she can be the hero it needs & sacrificing himself leads the way for that. sabine compares herself to ezra when kanan's teaching her but ezra doesn't cause he knows she's powerful differently. obviously narratively ezra being the mc affects this but you get it

The more I see about Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger's relationship during my Rebels rewatch and now back on the Ahsoka trailer, the more I see how much they actually resemble Kanan and Hera's relationship and the more I am positive about the idea that Sabine may actually found out she had intense feelings for him when it was too late, just like Hera, but instead she could never have the chance to say it like Hera did

Ezra was so sassy durning her training it was hilarious! Ezra differently was trying to show off but also getting some pay back from those years back when he was first doing the basics!

I can imagine Sabine challenging him for hours and Ezra joining along to spend more time with her. I can see them growing even closer during this time.
