(Ex. Everyone is meeting up at a random place, but a few hours later Reader forgets about it and everyone is wondering where Reader is.)

Summary: Five Hargreaves x GN reader, who is very forgetful, and also is reserved, and often has strange dreams. All of this leads to them being isolated from their family. Until their boyfriend Five helps them be able to socialize better.

Y/N was known for their smart mind, serious demeanor, good heart, their power to recreate the past in their mind, and an unfortunate tendency to forget things. Y/N was very forgetful, they used to forget events, meetings with their family, birthdays, and so on.

Also, they would often have really bad and vivid dreams, which would make them feel anxious and isolated. Most of the time, they would try to help others by using their powers to recreate the past in their mind, but afterwards, the dreams haunted them for whole nights. Their mind was sensible with the traumatic things they saw while using their powers.

But amidst the chaos, Y/N found solace in the arms of Five Hargreeves, the time-traveling genius, who was always there to remind Y/N of important events they forgot. And of course, accompanied them through hard days when Y/N would feel anxious and even scared because of all the dreams they had in the night.

One sunny morning, Y/N woke up feeling unusually groggy. As they rubbed their eyes, they realized that today was something important, they could feel it in their heart. However, Y/N's memory had betrayed them once again, and the details of whatever they had to do slipped away like sand through their fingers.

They started feeling anxious, they were scared of disappointing their family again. The Hargreaves family was usually very punctual, and would often be angry or at least upset when Y/N came late to a meeting or forgot it completely.

“We had booked a table in a restaurant for today, and you forgot it again. Do you know how far in advance we made the reservation? I'm sure you don't care because you only think about yourself.” That was what Diego said the last time Y/N forgot about something. That made them feel so bad about themselves, that they avoided their family the rest of the week, so, they didn’t want that to happen again, but they had forgotten the details of today’s meeting completely.

Meanwhile, the Hargreeves siblings were already sitting at a table in a restaurant to have breakfast together, eagerly awaiting Y/N's arrival. Confusion filled the air as they wondered where Y/N could be. Diego looked very upset, Klaus cracked jokes to lighten the mood, and Viktor was quietly observing the commotion.

Five, with his sharp mind, noticed the worried expressions on his siblings' faces. He knew it was up to him to find Y/N and make them remember. Determined, he teleported back to the Hargreeves mansion, and made his way upstairs to his and Y/N’s shared bedroom.

Opening the door, Five found Y/N sitting on the edge of the bed lost in their thoughts. Concern etched his face as he approached them, gently placing a hand on their shoulder. "Hey, love. Are you alright?” He asked gently.

Y/N looked up, their eyes filled with confusion, vulnerability, shame and worry. "I... I don't remember something important, do I?"

Five nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "There's a family meeting today, and everyone's been waiting for you. But don't worry, I'm here to help you remember."

Y/N's face brightened as they realized Five was their anchor in the storm of forgetfulness. "Thank you, Five. I don't know what I'd do without you."

With a tender glint in his eyes, Five took Y/N's hand and teleported both of them back to the restaurant. As they entered through the door, the Hargreeves siblings turned their attention towards the couple. Relief washed over their faces as they saw Y/N, safe and sound.

Luther let out a sigh of relief. "There you are, Y/N! We were starting to worry."

Y/N smiled sheepishly, feeling a mix of embarrassment and gratitude. "Sorry, guys. My memory's been acting up again." They said.

Allison chuckled warmly. "It's alright, Y/N. We're just glad you're here now."

As the meeting started, Y/N leaned against Five, feeling his presence comforting. Five whispered reminders in their ear, helping them contribute to the discussion. The warmth of their love and the support of their family enveloped Y/N, making them feel whole.

Later that day, as Y/N and Five were back at the mansion, they walked to bed to cuddle. Y/N was laying their head in Five’s chest, their eyes closed. “Thank you for everything you do for me, Five… I love you” Y/N said, their voice quiet.

Five smiled and kissed Y/N head, caressing their hair comfortingly before saying “I love you too”.
