Review Speed-Round: Street Fighter 6
As much as it pains me to leave such a critical review on this game I’ve been having fun with (My main is Ed, but it might change with Akuma), I need to be honest.
The story is a 5/5, gameplay is decent 4/5, but in terms of game modes aside from online, World Tour is lackluster and boring once you complete it. Part of me wants to start it over in order to get the enjoyment of World Tour mode again, but the bigger part of me is like, “do you REALLY want to do all that grinding again?” So as a result 2/5. The story in WT was also okay, it gets points for that at least, not to mention the best way of lore dumping about the Masters.
But that is not the only thing that stops this game from being an awesome game. It’s the micro transactions. The problem was already bad enough in DMC5 and RE4MAKE. It’s somehow worse.
At least with Vergil and Ada Wong, they are relatively cheap to buy as dlc characters. If you want Rashid, A.K.I, Ed and Akuma, fork over $30 with the Year 1 Pass. If you try to do it individually, you’ll end up spending $9 more to get all four. It is a predatory practice Capcom has adopted for some time now which only somehow got worse in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
So because of that, I give this game a thumbs down with a sad face. Capcom essentially ruined a fairly nice Street Fighter game by being greedy.
☹️👎🏽
Like 3 million units of this $60 game were sold, this was straight up unnecessary. If you want the extra money, just sell the DLC characters directly in the add-on sections of every platform available like you did with Vergil. At least that’s how I would’ve done it personally.

I &@$#ing hate Final Fantasy 7
youtube
and no it's not because I haven't tried everything.
in fact if you trace back almost all tips, guides and information,
you will find my name pop up as the original source.
I ripped this game apart and lapped its juicy insides
and all found was the ridiculous case of
just put everything in there and it'll sell for sure.
the game is fundamentally broken from start to end.
fine to say that discovery is half the fun,
but the real reason you're looking everything up,
is because this game is the most non-user-friendly,
poorly guided, terribly explained, confusing mess,
that I have ever had the displeasure to have experienced,
and those who say that it isn't,
are exactly the same people who defend Skyrim's glitches,
by saying they are a feature of the gameplay.
it's not that it's old or ground-breaking,
it's just bad,
and they poured red spectacles into this garbage gumbo,
because they knew the American market would lap that cream up.
more does not mean better by default,
it's just an excuse for poor management, poor structure,
and a complete disregard for the audience intended for the game.
there were other games available at the time that were huge,
and had features aplenty and a cool story to boot,
they even looked better too,
and they didn't take this much time and effort to do.
you fans are all victims of hype.
face it, you waste your time with it because you want more,
but you will never be satisfied,
because it's the gift that keeps on feeding you scraps.
grow up you big babies and play games that actually satisfy.
Half-Life (the original one) for example,
was simple to learn, hard to master,
and had a narrative that was simple and compelling,
fed to you beautifully through dynamic level events.
Portal 1 and 2 both are fantastic narratives,
with excellent easy to learn, hard to master gameplay.
these are of course highly specific examples,
but it's not hard to find better options,
even for the time of FF7's initial release,
to suit any playstyle, any level of investment,
and be way more coherent in the gameplay mechanics.
but sure, go weeb out in the comments.
tell me how uninformed I am.
you have no idea how much I understand this game.
I will laugh and laugh.

Dark souls a historic series

The dark souls series is one of best series you can play . Dark souls 2 was very underrated and the rest of the games are masterpieces. The story and gameplay as well as music and bosses create such a unique experience like no other. The environments all the way to making your own character builds. The dark souls series feels like the definition of freedom and fun.
When dark souls released for the first time in 2011 it was praised and for good reason besides its difficulty it had everything going for it . The entire series alone can be replayed over and over and you’ll get that feeling of playing it for the first time all the time.
The series itself helped make other games that are equally enjoyable and good . Bloodborne, sekiro , elden ring , and even inspiring other devs/companies games such as lies of p and lords of the fallen.
There is so much to talk about when it comes to any dark soul’s
game or anything related.
Almost every boss and area is fun but their is exceptions like poison areas and bosses like bed of chaos.
What makes the series such a staple on gaming is the community and difficulty within the games. All though after completing the game the difficulty feels different most times when going through another play through. From speed runners to pvp dark souls has a huge community for different things within the games. People turned the games into something more than just a game.
youtube
The most interesting thing is how death is one of the best parts of this series not only does it help you learn sometimes it can be a funny experience.
youtube
Dark souls shocks the everyone with the bosses like orestien and smough and slave knight gael.
In conclusion I could go on all day about what makes this series great no matter what aspect their is something amazing about these games that always brings me and millions back each day and year especially when more souls like titles are released.

Honestly, what did you think would happen when I get far more exposed to reviews than ever before.
Having all Power Unlimited issues fuckin' rocks when it comes to motivating me to buy more.
I sincerely hope for the UK fans that all Official Nintendo and PlayStation magazines get archived someday. Oh! And NGamer, bless them for reviewing DS/Wii games nobody else would at the time.

Heya! Glad to see you not sick! What did you end up playing? If you had the energy at all to game. I know i am a withering husk whenever I'm sick. Absolutely useless.
I ended up getting bad into Graveyard Keeper. I love that game to pieces. Its like a more darker Stardew Valley with science-y and magic and some really quirky characters.
Tumblr media
I'd like to say I've gotten far in it, but I don't think Ive even scratched the surface of the game. I just came across a character I didnt know existed after so many hours, and they gave me a much needed technology.
Tumblr media
Its such a cozy game, I did need some brainpower to remember what I needed for some of the buildings. And since I haven't played it in so long, I had to do a massive catch up on what I needed to do or where I was in the game.
But I highly recommend this game if you are looking for something like Stardew or a new cozy game. I love the writing and the art is amazing.

things I love about The Last of Us
The soundtrack, it’s integrated so seamlessly. It perfectly accompanies the more emotional and dramatic story pieces while creating tension during stealth and combat sequences.
The audio cues whenever you’re very close to being seen by an enemy or one is very close to your position behind you. That little woosh sound has helped me so many times. In addition to that I also love listening mode, I just think it’s neat.
The environment design and layout. The layout is clever and allows for plenty of cover during stealth and combat, and the overall design really captures the decay of an apocalypse 20 years later.
The infected. I really like their designs, AI, the noises they make. I just think they’re neat.
The prologue/intro. The most gut-wrenching introduction to a game I’ve ever played, and it gets me every single time.
The section of the game where you’re caught in Bill’s trap, and must defend against infected while upside down. Stressful, but very fun.
The sewer level. I love the idea of an underground/sewer group of survivors in an apocalypse scenario. It has some of the more stressful infected encounters (looking at you stalkers), and  the room with the children in it was quite chilling.
Ellie’s jokes. Love me some bad puns.
Bill. That's all.
The notes and artifacts. Although some of them don’t really make sense to exist, I love in-universe momentos, especially the diaries from those already gone.
The infected. It stands out so well from other types of zombie/outbreak media, as a fungus it is very unique. Just the way they move and sound (and especially the clickers) is quite creepy.
there is so much more but I will just add it as it comes to me.

I Was Surprised by How Much I Loved Playing Grounded
Sharing my thoughts on the survival, action-adventure game called Grounded after completing the game for the first time.
Grounded is a survival, active-adventure video game by Obsidian Entertainment, where you play as a teenager that was abducted and shrunk to the size of a bug. However, your character has no memories of this initially, and it’s only through the exploration of a backyard that you discover what happened to you and some friends. This game is multi-player, allowing you to play with up to three friends…

So I’ve Been Playing... Wolfenstein: The New Order
Shooters are the genre I play the most, one of the first PC games I ever played was DOOM 2 and I have been hooked ever since. Be it trying one of the classics like Blood or something a little more recent like Postal Brain Damaged I will play them all but there is one franchise I always come back to, Wolfenstein.
Wolfenstein 3D captivated me when I was a kid even if I had games like Quake to play I would always gravitate to Wolfenstein, something was amazing about the early 3D to me so was the way the game managed to tell its story with no words just get up, kill some nazis and escape against unspeakable odds. Growing up I was always excited when a new game would come out the 2009 "remake" got me so excited I would watch the trailer almost daily hoping to one day get my hands on it. But those games aren't what we are talking about, I want to talk about the 2014 reboot Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Wolfenstein: The New Order was developed by MachineGames and is a soft reboot of the franchise. Unlike previous instalments focuses entirely on a single-player experience with no multiplayer component. Because of this the story needed to be top notch and man does it deliver.
(spoilers ahead)
The story begins in 1846 with our protagonist captain William "B.J." Blazkowicz flying into Deathshead's compound to put an end to the mad scientist who is creating not only super soldiers and advanced weaponry but also mechanical monsters prolonging the war and leading towards a Nazi victory. BJ is joined but two notable soldiers. Commander Fergus Reid BJ's right-hand man and a very headstrong, capable and overall brilliant tactician and private Probst Wyatt III, who unlike Fergus is overwhelmed by the horrors of the war that he is forced to witness at the young age of 18. After fighting your way up the shore, scaling the walls of the compound and losing countless men in the prosses you gain entry to Deathshead's lab only to be ambushed.
This moment is when I fell in love with this game. You are forced to make a choice, who will die Wyatt or Fergus? This choice breaks me every single time I play this game, the weight of this choice is so hard to put into words. By the time you get to this choice which is only about an hour into the game, you have spent so much time around these two people that you love them both. Do you save the kid who barely had a chance to live his life before war changed it forever or do you save BJ's best friend?
No matter who you save you escape but are wounded leaving a chunk of metal in BJ's brain. Luckily you are found by a polish doctor who along with his wife and daughter Anya care for you for fourteen years until asylum is shut down, everyone inside is executed by the hand of the Nazis and Anya is taken. After fighting your way out, saving Anya and stealing a car you flee to a safe place. Your mission is to find the resistance and to finish what you started 14 years ago, Kill Deathshead and put an end to Nazi reign.
Okay, enough story I don't wait to spoil all of it for you. So how does the game play? Its a modern take on a classic shooter, nearly every room you walk into in MOST missions is full of enemies for you to blast your way through however you see fit maybe, you want to hide behind cover and take them out one at a time, maybe you want to charge forward with a fully automatic shotgun in both hands or (and here is how I played most of the game) you sneak through prioritising which enemies you take out first, who can raise the alarm? who is strongest? if I get seen can I recover? will I survive? However you choose to play you will have an arsenal to back you up everything from the previously mentioned fully automatic shotguns, to assault rifles even a bulky metal monstrosity that can take down most enemies in one hit. You can also unlock different perks by completing challenges which is where I have an issue. The perks are extremely useful in this game letting you hold more ammo or grenades healing on stealth takedowns things along those lines. However unlocking these can be a nightmare. At the start of most missions, you lose all of your weapons leaving you with your laser gun and a knife sometimes a pistol if you are lucky, plus there are no guarantees you will get the gun you need to unlock that perk you so desperately want making the unlocks harder than they need to be.
During the later stages of the game as the locations and battles get more and more insane some of the enemies become way too hard to kill, and yes it makes sense in the context of the game but fighting them becomes less exciting and more of a chore or hell sometimes its straight up unfair. starting a level with next to no ammo and having to fight two heavily armoured shotgun-wielding nazis is a terrible experience that I honestly never want to slog through again. However, the story really is when this game shines the most, every location and character this game shows you is perfect they all show you how war affects different people. Wyatt or Fergus resent the fact they are alive and the war has cost them a life they never got to live, BJ is desperately holding on to a dream of the future with the woman he loves where he can one day be happy. Max learns that he needs to fight after the death of his father. Even Deathshead shows his own goals and has his reasons to keep fighting, there were moments in this game that crushed me making me feel like fighting this war is pointless, like I have no reason to carry on and there were others where I felt I had to fight to save the character I love so much or to crush the oppressive force that took someone from me pushing me forward to end this seemingly endless fight.
Does Wolfenstein: The New Order have its issues? yes, Is it a perfect game? no. There are a few minor things I didn't mention here like constantly taking fall damage or needing to be super precise while cutting paths leading to pointless deaths, but would I recommend you play this game? absolutely. I haven't been this quickly attached to characters in a long time. There are moments this game makes you feel you are fighting a battle you can't possibly win but you need to keep fighting, you need to be the bastion of hope.
Anyway, I gotta go I think I need to rest before a new colossus shows up.

My Thoughts On: Minecraft Skyblock
"I think Skyblock, at its core, is the ultimate challenge in resource management. You spawn on a tiny island in an empty universe. All you have is a tree, some supplies, and some dirt to stand on. You have to treasure every dirt block because if one falls into the void, there’s no way to replace it. As you carefully navigate your absurd circumstance, you gain a new appreciation for the few things you have, as you meticulously use them to their fullest effect. With nothing but some ice, lava, and saplings, you slowly transform this empty expanse into a world of your very own. Skyblock teaches us that no matter how ridiculous the odds may seem, within us resides the power to overcome these obstacles and achieve something beautiful. And one day, we’ll look back at where we started, and be amazed at how far we’ve come." - Technoblade (source)
Skyblock is a classic challenge map in Minecraft. Instead of spawning in a regular Minecraft world, you start on a small island of limited dirt blocks floating above the infinite void. You get a single oak tree, and the materials to create a simple cobblestone generator. Using these limited resources, you have to farm more trees and gather cobblestone to expand your island and bridge into the void, finding other islands and growing your collection of special items. Every time you drop something, it's gone forever. When you fall off, you permanently loose anything you had on you. Storage has never been more valuable, and now more than ever you appreciate how limited natural resources can be.
While the original Skyblock map by Noobcrew is fairly small, it spawned the idea of the floating island-based Minecraft map. Since then, it has been remade countless times, but the original project was passed from hand to hand, and currently has it's newest version for the Minecraft 1.19 update. In the most recent iterations, it is actually possible to play the entirety of the game and beat the Ender Dragon, all in Skyblock's unique setting above the void. It even has custom advancements to help you gauge your progress!
To echo Technoblade's message, Skyblock is the ultimate challenge in resource management. Everything you find must be treasured, because odds are you won't be able to find or create any more later. It is the final test of all your Minecraft skills, as you navigate your way through the empty universe you call home. Will you fall? Will you loose all your most precious resources? Or will you find a way to thrive, and eventually overcome the ultimate challenge? Only time will tell. That is entirely dependent on your dedication to try, fail, and try again.
I think the most important aspect of Skyblock is determination. (Insert obligatory Undertale reference here) When I started my Skyblock world, I accidentally fell off and lost my lava bucket THREE TIMES and had to restart THREE TIMES before I was finally able to get started. I know that's a small example, but it's like Spiderman said: The most important part is always getting back up. You might fall off and loose the most important item you ever found in your world. Do you return to the menu? Close the game? Delete Skyblock and give in? Or do you hit [Respawn] and try again? Every time you return to the world, ready to face the day's challenges and overcome your obstacles, you laugh in the face of adversity. You say "Not today, Satan!" and power through the insane circumstances you find yourself in.
I've really enjoyed my time in Skyblock, but I know that it's probably not for everyone. It can be slow, meticulous, and even tedious, but I enjoy being able to take things slow every once in a while. I enjoy games where I can grind out stats (or in this case, cobblestone), and watch as that helps me push even further beyond my previous limits. In Skyblock, you have the unique position of doing exactly what Technoblade says; you can look back at where you started, and see how far you've come. That might seem like a small thing to some of you, but to me, it's the most important part. As humans, we will never be perfect. That's a fact. However, it's all about progress, not perfection. By being able to see your improvement, both literally and metaphorically, it can help you mentally by being able to say "Ok... I guess I did something right". We have a tendency to be our own worst critics and say that we aren't any good because we don't measure up to our own standards or goals, but the fact is that a lot of the time we fail to appreciate our progress towards those goals. How will you ever be able to draw like da Vinci if you never managed to draw like Stan Lee? (For those of you who don't know, Stan Lee was a terrible artist, even if his writing was legendary. His artistic abilities never stretched beyond stick figures)
In the end, I recommend Skyblock. Even if the slow pace isn't really your favorite, the therapeutic atmosphere and the mental imagery of your own progress are universally helpful. Even if you only play a little bit here and there, every now and again, I think it's still something all of us can use. Remember that it's about progress and not perfection! You are amazing, and as your skill grows, you should slow down to look at where you started, and see how far you've come.
Thanks for reading another post! I really miss Technoblade, and while rewatching some videos I came across that Skyblock quote, and it inspired a post! I provided some source links to download Skyblock for anyone interested in trying. Rest in piece, Techno. Technoblade never dies, as long as he lives in our hearts and minds. Hope you enjoyed it, and be sure to ask questions and suggest new post ideas in my ask box! Stay safe, stay hydrated, and God bless!

Batman: Arkham Trilogy
With the Batman Arkham Trilogy released recently on switch it’s a good time to bring up how legendary these games are.
Each entry is extremely strong and unique. My favorite being between Arkham Asylum or Arkham knight.
The Arkham series progressively grew better and better. The gameplay is really fun and playing as Batman feels good and smooth everything flows well together and doing combos or takedowns is satisfying.
The sound design is amazing and being able to hear the hard punches and slams really feels like your batman or in a fight.
Not only do you get to be batman in these games you can play as other characters and their is so many costumes for Batman considering he has so many comics and different stories it make sense.
The story for there games are great and the locations from Arkham asylum to Arkham city it feels like your in a comic or a movie and it’s great.
The amazing voice acting from all characters including Kevin Conroy who sadly passed recently and has done batman for so long it’s iconic and the joker by Mark Hamill who is arguably the best Joker.
youtube
The dynamic between Joker and Batman really adds so much to the games and it’s always a good experience when they are both on screen.
Another great thing about the gameplay is countering enemies being able to do fast intense fights while reacting to being attacked makes you feel like your in a fight because in a real fight people don’t sit around and wait for you to finish who your attacking.
Tumblr media
This series has very unique fun gameplay and has you use Batman’s abilities, Gadgets , Vehicles and so much more!
This series does justice to the character and dc universe.
In conclusion this series is beyond legendary for so many reasons and it’s such a great series to dive into , it has so much content and so much for fans of the comics and just anyone who likes Batman.

people are drawing Steamboat Willie Mickey doing all this crazy shit and whatnot, but you could always do that. you can do that now, with current Mickey, just fine. it's fanart and it's legally protected. hell you could take Disney-drawn Mickey and put a caption about unions or whatever on it and it would still be protected under free speech and sometimes even parody law.
what is special about public domain is that you can SELL him. you could take a screenshot and sell it on a tshirt. you can use him to advertise your plumbing business. people have already uploaded and monetized the original film.
you could always have Mickey say what you want, but now you can profit off it.

Alisa: Developer's Cut
Tumblr media
Hello everyone! It's Autumn!
This is my first official blog post on my page and I hope you enjoy. Today we're going to be reviewing and talking a little about "Alisa: Developer's Cut" by Casper Croes and his team. First off, a quick synopsis: Alisa is a late 90s styled survival horror game where our main protagonist "Alisa" has been sent on a mission to recover some very important blueprints but gets tangled in a world of horror, dolls, and mad science.
The game over all is a beautifully crafted homage to early 90s horror and as a person who was born in the 2000s it's really hard to find and enjoy games from that era without having the proper hardware and cultural knowledge of games of that time. It was really enjoyable both aesthetically, technically, and visually. The gameplay was smooth and engaging. The fixed angles were a bit to get used to especially during combat, but I am not a 90s horror veteran so most of that is on my lack of experience.
Over all, the game was an amazing experience and certainly one of my faves of this year. I would HIGHLY recommend it for those of us who loves survival horror with gothic themes, puzzles, and a dash of strange creatures.
Rating: (9/10)
Please go support the game, it is available on:
Playstation Store for $17.99/ 16.88 Euros
Steam for $17.99/ 16.88 Euros
Itch.io for $15.98/ 15 Euros
Xbox store for $19.18/ 18 Euros (Developers Cut)
Thank you so much for reading. Please leave game suggestions and your opinions of the games in the comments. Thanks for clicking!!

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade Review
Tumblr media
Harvest Moon: Animal Parade
You play a farmer trying to heal the divine tree, help the Harvest Goddess, and save the land.
You can have a little ranch farm with cows, ostriches, horses, wee little goats, and more. You can grow a little orchard, huge flower gardens, and vast fields of crops. Or you can do none of that, and focus on foraging, fishing, and mining too. There’s so many animals! You can ride them around and adopt them into your home!
Not everything is available at the beginning, you really have to work to complete the story and heal the Harvest Goddess. Which I appreciate, not a fan of things just being handed to the player.
You can have a spouse, and kids even. You can actually do things with them like go on walks and have family photos taken. There’s also even scripted events for them as well.
The characters all have realistic, unique personalities and traits. Nice selection of marriage candidates, including but not limited to: tsundere chef, himbo lumberjack, Indiana Jones, Female Indiana Jones, girl next door, and saucy barmaid.
The beginning is a bit of a slog until you can actually get some of your tools upgraded, and can feel grindy a little. If an item you need to progress is seasonal and/or isn’t sold in the shops, then you are effectively locked out of it until the next year. Very inconvenient if you don’t know what you are needing ahead of time.
In my overall opinion it is my favorite Harvest Moon game. There’s so much to do that it will keep you entertained no matter which playstyle you choose to spring for.
