#all the stuff ive been doing is like . boom done #bc this one brush i have is soooo good i can get some amazing line weight by just pressing down the tiniest bit #but i was using a diff brush and trying to be much more intentional here with the lines #it took longer than what im used to but produced a nice result i think #dave strider #homestuck #i forgot your belly button . im so sorry my boy #ALSOOOO ive found smn that realyhelps me with drawing hips #like. joinign the thigh to the hip itself #i just draw a 2d rectangle at the angle im tryna get the hips to face #it really helps me visualize the pose better #also im happy with how the folds on the clothes came out ^_^ i've been studying ..

i have a counter argument to the 'only one person can boop bill' thing, mabel. she's the type of person to slap stickers on people, she would definitely be the type to also boop others occasionally and bill would be no exception. she probably doesn't do it to annoy bill like dipper would, but maybe as a form of a friendly gesture, kind of like those people who will lightly punch friends in the arm when they hang out.

You know what? Good point. Mabel would get away with more than most, as a fun-loving lady! Bill understands those impulses, and being a touchy person! He indulges in similar ones himself.

Though when Bill's not in the mood to be playful and gets booped anyway? The 'sister-in-law' status grants her considerable grace.

The assumption that all atheists are people who’ve “never touched a religious text in their life” basically says to me you have a specific view of atheists and have probably not known many.

Most of them grew up IN the system and DO know the text and THAT’S why they walk away. 

If you’re gonna make a whole post on ppl not using nuance with CR stuff right now the least you can do is use nuance yourself and not paint an entire group of people with a brush that TV taught you, or a bunch of white men into power *cough* Dawkins *cough* coopted a movement in a society where to not believe in god is synonymous with being immoral.

So just keep in mind, the representation of people without faith that you see on TV or twitter isn’t the majority and 9 times out of 10 isn’t correct at all.

I hate whoever juniper’s first owners were. Didn’t socialize her so she’s super dog reactive and scared of random things like bikers, didn’t get her comfortable with being brushed, didn’t get her comfortable having new nails trimmed, didn’t get her comfortable with vibrating/buzzing things like an electric razor, etc

#I just brushed her and trimmed some of her nails #made it through 4 before she made it clear she was done #thankfully she wears her own nails down really well! #just had to do two random front nails and her dew claws #she’s getting better at being brushed and I am teaching her the nail chippers aren’t scary #and I’ve taught her so many tricks #they also got rid of her because they were getting sent elsewhere (military) instead of bringing her with??? #second owner prob needs some blame too
