bbc ghosts’ mike is the ultimate wife guy. accepts that his wife can see ghosts almost immediately and doesn’t really gaf. his wife makes him stop tasks or take the long way around otherwise simple things because of the ghosts that he can’t see and cannot tell are there and he’s chill. quits his job in a day because he had a nice phone call. his wife has to do a ghost funeral during an important event for their shared business and he pulls it off anyway. owns a bear. cool guy

on the final

so the final of ghosts I have watched it may times now and got over the shock of it and now I will say what I thought about it now when I first watched it the ending shocked me so much and I was very upset but now o don’t think it was that bad I think that the main problem was pacing because it was paced incredibly bad the last episode in season five the whole thing was that they where deciding to stay now to be fair Alison did say “I can’t” do it was like she knew it would be best but wasn’t ready to leave the ghosts yet but that was not mad clear enough and still should not have been the last episode and then a final where the exact opposite happened I know they had the baby and things changed but they was not showen well enough people say it felt rushed because it did it was all very fast happing and it was not shown enough how much time had passed I think maybe if they had “Last resort” happen at another time in the series or just did not do that the final would have been better it would have made more sense because that ending just felt thrown on us when it was not they just executed it wrong, another thing that added to this feeling like it was thrown on us was Betty’s story now Betty story line was not bad not at all it was quite good it just was not needed to take up that much space in the finel the ghosts Alison and Mike and Mia are more important especially in a finel even if they had the Betty thing one episode and then the next one be they leave and they make more out of that I think if the episode could have been longer it would have been much better, another thing which is a criticism I have for the whole show is that the writers where not careful enough with the characters Julian specifically said something in this episode which he should not have it’s not his character I know exactly why this happened it’s because I heard I think it was Mat say on the podcast that Julian was so fun to write because you just think what’s the worst thing someone could do/say in this situation and they write that which no because there are different types of bad people of bad actions Julian is politician bad and should not have said this it also conterdicts what he was like earlier kitty and Thomas also I felt they messed up with kitty was right back to her jealousy and Thomas still obsessed with Alison now them deciding to let Alison go was the development sort of but it needed to be more I really wish they where more careful with this episode I think they treated it like a regular episode not The Final of the show

1 . Pacing !! Pacing needed to be better

2. Show don’t tell, should have shown more of ghosts in hotel after it was sold should have been more about ghosts in general show the development don’t just tell us about it

3. HATS hats is a thing my youth theatre leader says when we write plays because sometimes we add to many hats before we have our head done see the ghosts story is the head it’s the main story Betty’s thing was a hat there where to many hats which distracted from the main story with the ghosts and Alison

3. Be more careful !!! You have to handle characters with care especially in a finel I don’t think they where careful enough I also thing this could be helped by having all six writers work on the finel not just two as they uselly do I know that’s how they like to do it but it’s a final not a regular episode more care needs to be taken and I don’t think the mistakes with characters would have been made if they all worked on it.
