OKAY THAT WAS AMAZING
AND I AM NOT OKAY
WE REALLY GOT EVERYTHING WE WANTED I'M CRYING
But also like, that was just an objectively good ending. I will admit it's rushed but that was a lot to cover in 6 episodes and they did their best to focus on what matters which was the psychology of it and the romance (the CRM was Not The Point lmao). It was always about dealing with their respective traumas (while still showing that it's not magically gone just because they're home! I love that the reunion with their kids still had tinges of uncertainty from Rick! Amazing!) and finding peace together again.
So yea I'm super sad we don't get to see more and this really felt like The End for the Grimes family, but maybe recurring roles in the other spinoffs? References to how they're doing? Another mini-series just about Rick readjusting to life On The Outside and Michonne catching up with her kids after being away for over a year (unlikely but I can dream)?
I'm so happy but I'm just gonna miss them so much.

finally binged the last season of TWD and I have to say, I'm okay with how it ended. I won't lie, the Commonwealth arc was a little boring for me. It didn't feel as high stakes as other villain arcs in the past have felt like the Whisperers or the Saviors or even The OG Governor, but I think that's why they upped the ante on the walkers themselves. Which...maybe I missed it but did they ever say why the walkers were suddenly climbing up walls and picking up weapons? Talk about terrifying. LOVED that they brought back the Whisperer angle this season by the way, in all aspects. That was really cool.
I'm a hardcore Caryl shipper but I was okay with how they left things with their story. I know some might not be happy with it but Idk I got a very unfinished vibe from it? Like there's more to their story. Idr if Melissa McBride has said she'll make an appearance on the Daryl spinoff or not, but I still get the 'there's something there and it's still unspoken' vibe.
I felt absolutely horrible for Luke and Jules. I didn't expect that one. But it also kind of made me think they brought them back to be the ones to die so none of the mains had to. Again, the whole Commonwealth arc just didn't feel as high stakes, even when Eugene was on trial for his life, even when Ezekiel and the others were taken. The only other time it felt high stakes is when Negan and Annie were about to be executed and Ezekiel and the others stepped in. Not saying that I wanted any of the mains to die; they had more than earned those endings but I felt like it kind of got away from the theme of the show a little, if that makes sense.
Judith getting shot was indeed shocking and you do worry for her, but it was obvious they were doing a callback to the pilot, with us seeing her pov from the pain haze she was in at the hospital, Daryl blocking the door to her room like Shane did with Rick. Not a bad callback at all, I appreciated it, but you knew then that Judith wasn't going to die. (which thank goodness she didn't because I'd riot)
Rosita's death was tragic but at the same time beautiful. Christian and the others did a wonderful job and my heart broke for Rosita (she was one of my favorite characters too). I had heard Christian's explanation of why she wanted Rosita to die from it being mentioned by a fan at a recent SPN convention to Jensen (in relation to Dean's ending and how he felt if there was closure or not), but now having seen the season, it makes more sense.
Idk, overall, I just felt like it was a good tie-up besides some of the issues I mentioned. I was happy to see Rick and Michonne at the end but I do wish I could have seen them reunite with their kids, ngl. I'm hoping however the movie goes, that's the ending for the Grimes family. Like Judith said "we're the ones that live". After everything they've been through, they deserve it. Rick deserves to see Judith and RJ at least once.
One thing that popped out for me that I didn't expect was Maggie x Negan. Holy crap, I did not see that ship coming. It feels so wrong for many reasons but JDM and Lauren just have that chemistry as those two characters. And while I enjoyed Negan/JDM as a villain, and he was alright in his limbo phase, I never was a Negan fan so to speak. But after the bottle episode from season 10 and we see his backstory (which he and Hilarie crushed btw), I became very interested in his 11A arc, especially where Maggie was concerned. When he showed up with a pregnant wife in 11B, it felt off to me. Like I get that was his redemption arc in full swing and it was done to get Negan to the point where he earns his place at Alexandria 2.0 (3.0?) if he wants it, that Maggie can be the one to extend that offer (which leads them into the dynamic/place they need for their spinoff) because he finally understands how she must have felt when he killed Glen and he apologizes, and Daryl gives him a nod of semi-respect at the end, but idk it just felt off to me. It should be interesting to see how things occur for Negan and Annie moving forward. Will they be in the new series, too? And I'm not really a hero x villain kind of person (i.e. I'm not a Reylo shipper at all) unless it's something really great like Dramione but Negan and Maggie, I can get on board with that one a bit. And even if that never occurs, I am good with just seeing those two on my screen together. I can't wait to see the Maggie and Negan spinoff!!!
So yeah, an end to an era but I'm personally okay with this end. I still love the series and it's definitely one of my favorites.

6 Things to Look for Before Hiring a Company to Install Your Pool
Most pools require the same maintenance schedule, and as long as a pool owner completes the regular projects required of maintenance such as chemical care and cleaning, it’s easy to keep a pool in clear condition all summer long. There are a number of “unusual” additional activities you can employ to save you time, effort, and money in the long run resulting in an even cleaner pool. Check out these unique pool care tips and see if they inspire any other out of the box ideas.
Tumblr media
1. Buy some baking soda
Stores that sell pool cleaner will usually offer something called an “Alkalinity Increaser,” which is a simple option for maintaining the pH levels in a pool. Purchasing some inexpensive baking soda from the store accomplishes the same goal yet does for much less money. An Internet search will tell you how much baking soda you will need for a pool your size.
2. Toss in a tennis ball
Suntan lotion and sun block often end up in the pool after they’re applied to a swimmer, and these substances can make the pool dirty quite quickly. Throwing a standard tennis ball into the pool to float for a while will suck up all those extra oils and chemicals that don’t belong in the pool. It’s fine to leave the tennis ball floating in the pool at all times.
3. Toe the tile line
Residue, dirt, and contaminants form over time and stick along the water line and tile area. Cleaning this area on a weekly basis should reduce the rate at which the pool gets cloudy and dirty since the residue on the tile doesn’t get washed into the pool. Weekly cleaning of this area also reduces calcium buildup. It’s also a good idea to clean the cement or walkways around the pool area to reduce the transference of dirt and grime into the water.
4. Keep dogs out
Dogs often love to jump in after their owners and play around in the pool, but chlorine isn’t good for canine companions. Not only will the pool irritate Fido’s skin, but the pool will get dirtier and hairier faster. Keeping up with dog hair in the filters may become a full time job in the summer with dogs in the pool. If the family just can’t stand to let the dog wait out the fun on the sidelines, the chlorine levels need to be kept below 3.0 PPM for safety.
5. Keep a cool pool
Pools cost energy to run and maintain, and keeping a pool above 82 degrees may offer a homeowner a much higher electricity bill. Instead of keeping the temperature so high, it’s less expensive to keep a solar cover on the water. There are also options for solar-powered pool heaters, which will also save energy.
6. Track water usage with a bucket
Although environmental factors such as humidity and temperature will impact the rate at which the pool loses water, the average water loss shouldn’t be much more than a quarter of an inch per day. Measuring water loss is easiest by placing a weighted bucket on the stairs and marking the water level on the side of the bucket. Big drops in water levels might signal a leak in the pool.
youtube
Using these easy and unique pool maintenance tips allows for a pool owner to have a cleaner pool each summer, which requires less maintenance and time spent pouring chemicals into the water. A clean and clear pool also offers a much more enjoyable swimming experience for the family. A well-maintained, regularly serviced pool will save you money in the long run.

Thank you Richonne fandom
I just wanna say a big huge Thank You! to the richonne writers who have and will continue to write fanfiction and other talented fans who contribute their fan art to the fandom. The only thing that could make Rick Grimes departure from the show even sadder is if the richonne fandom ended with him. I really truly hope that Rick not actually dying and the possibility of a richonne baby and a Grimes family 3.0 reunion in the far future is enough to keep our amazing fandom going. I will try to thank this fandom for its talent and dedication by contributing what I can with my humble little fanfic. I love you all richonners, and I hope you’re doing well after tonight’s episode!!😘💗💗

Hug 7.0
Hug 1.0 Hug 2.0 Hug 3.0 Hug 4.0 Hug 4.1 Hug 5.0  Hug 6.0
Derek knew that he wasn’t dealing well right now, but he figured he had every right to freak out. Erica was dead. Lively, wonderful, sassy, force-of-nature Erica was dead. Cora, his baby sister Cora, was somehow still alive and more or less well. Boyd and Cora had slashed him up pretty badly, and a human had seen them, and Derek was frankly too tired to even change out of his ruined, bloodied shirt.
He had buried Erica before he went after Boyd and Cora, and he could still feel her cold skin under his hands. Hands that were now caked with his own blood.  Derek was still staring at them when the door to his apartment suddenly flew open and Stiles rushed in.
“My childhood friend Heather, you know the one I nearly had sex with, the one I took freaking bubble baths with when I was four, that childhood friend, she’s dead. Heather is dead,” Stiles told him and Derek slowly dragged his eyes away from his hands.
“My little sister is alive,” he croaked out and Stiles deflated at that.
“If this were a most surprising and unsettling news contest, you’d win with that statement. But it’s not, so I’m gonna need you to use more words,” Stiles told him and it seemed that he only realized then that Derek was covered in blood.
“What the fuck happened to you?” he asked, worry clear in his eyes, and hands flitting all over Derek’s body without really touching him.
“Erica is dead,” Derek gave back and couldn’t meet Stiles’ eyes. “I was too late. She’s dead.”
“I heard,” Stiles replied softly. “What happened there?” he asked and motioned at Derek’s slashed up shirt, before he carefully rested his hand on Derek’s side.
“Boyd and Cora. There was a human. I couldn’t let them hurt someone.”
“So you figured you’d rather get hurt yourself,” Stiles said and it wasn’t even a question.
“I’ll heal.”
“But it still hurts, doesn’t it?” Stiles asked him and suddenly Derek felt fragile, like he was about to break.
“She’s alive,” he whispered and only belatedly realized that he was shaking. “She’s alive, and all grown up, and I thought everyone was gone,” Derek choked out and then Stiles was right there.
“Shhh, it’s okay,” he said and gently pulled Derek into a hug.
“No, it’s not. It’s not! Your friend died,” Derek gave back, unwilling to just accept Stiles comfort, when he so clearly needed it himself.
“So did yours,” Stiles replied and he sounded like he was seconds away from crying.
“She wasn’t my friend. She was my beta,” Derek told him but he could feel Stiles shaking his head.
“She could have been. There was potential,” Stiles said with conviction even though he sounded sad.
He could be right, Derek knew, but wonderful, amazing, full-of-life Erica was dead and Derek would never find out.
“She was so cold,” he sobbed into Stiles neck and he could smell Stiles’ own tears.
“Yes, she was,” he whispered.
Derek knew they were talking about different people here, but they still shared the same grief. They both lost someone.
They quietly fell apart in each other’s arms but eventually they pulled themselves together again.
“So Cora, huh?” Stiles asked and wiped his eyes.
Derek felt like crying all over again.
“She is so grown up. But she smelled the same. She still smells like family and home, but I barely recognized her.”
“She changed. She was so young, right?” Stiles carefully asked.
“Elven. She was only eleven when she lost everyone,” Derek replied. “And now she is so different.”
“You both are,” Stiles gave back and carefully touched his hand to Derek’s cheek. “Look just how much you changed over the past few months. You’ll both have to get to know each other again.”
“I don’t know if she wants to get to know me,” Derek whispered and Stiles cracked a wobbly smile at him.
“Not with you looking like that, she won’t,” he gave back and hearing Stiles joke like that settled something in Derek.
“I should probably clean up,” Derek admitted and Stiles laughed for real now.
“Ya think?”
“I distinctly remember you not caring two minutes ago,” Derek told him and Stiles darted in for another quick hug.
“And I still don’t,” he said but then pushed Derek towards the bathroom. “Doesn’t mean you get out of showering.”
Derek let Stiles steer him to the bathroom without resistance and when they reached it he was promptly hit in the face by a towel.
“Go clean up,” he told him. “I know there’s a handsome face hidden but it’s hard to tell with all the grime and blood.”
Derek was still holding the towel over his head when he asked “Stay?” so he didn’t have to see Stiles’ face.
But he really shouldn’t have worried, because there wasn’t even a moment of hesitation before Stiles said “Sure.”
Even though Stiles closed the door afterwards Derek felt better just knowing that he was still there, on the other side. It made everything just a bit easier.

The Grimes (everyone)
Richonne family/Grimes 2.0: Carmick (Carl, Michonne, Rick) *longest time (and Richonne with Judith) *shortest time
Grimes 3.0 (Michonne, Judith, and RJ)
I wanted to make a photo set of it based on my tumblr tags or lables I used on them. It’s hard to find a group pic. Idk why it’s weird to see all the Grimes together (Richonne, and Carl, Judith, RJ). Maybe because on the show they’re not grouped a lot (short time or kept changing child actors, or change ugh) and seeing those au edits including Carl , I’m like where’s Andre? Anyway, on the show, in the end, it would be Richonne, Judith, and RJ. But, it should be Richonne, Carl, Judith, and RJ!

Automatic soap dispensers that are tough on germs and easy on the eyes
Keep them clean. (Matthew Tkocz via Unsplash/)
Washing your hands is a must if you want to keep germs and bacteria away. It is recommended you wash up when coughing, blowing your nose, using the restroom, before and after eating, and much more. Elevate your germ-free game by getting yourself an automated soap dispenser, essentially eliminating contact with the bacteria that can live on bars and pump dispensers. Many of us associate automatic dispensers with airport, school, or gas station bathrooms which often don’t work, and definitely don’t fit in nicely with your personal home aesthetic. Fear not! We have found the best-automated soap dispensers that are not only reliable and easy to use but will compliment your bathroom or kitchen decor.
Modern art for a modern clean. (Amazon/)
This dispenser is sleek, easy to use, and great for any kitchen or bathroom in your home. It can hold 10.25 ounces of liquid soap so you’ll rarely have to refill. All you need to get this little guy up and running is four AAA batteries and your favorite hand soap. It is equipped with a state of the art, hyper-sensitive infrared sensor, so all you have to do is hold your hand under the nozzle and it will dispense 1 milliliter of soap. For tougher messes or a heavy-duty wash, simply keep your hand underneath the opening for another 2 seconds and it will pump again. As time goes on, check the discreet, yet visible soap scale so you know when to refill; you’ll know when to replace the batteries because an LED indicator light will begin to flash. This QOSDA dispenser is water-proof, touch-free, and beautifully designed.
Clean hands for the whole family. (Amazon/)
This touch-free dispenser from Hayi is a great way to get your kids excited about washing their hands. First and foremost, it is specifically designed to dispense foam soap, which we all know is an automatic draw for any child when it comes to hygiene. Simply add your favorite foaming soap or make your own by mixing together 1 part ordinary soap and 4 parts water. Our foaming friend can hold 10.2 ounces of liquid and will dispense between 0.5 and 3.0 milliliters of liquid; just use the convenient +/- volume buttons to determine the right setting for you. This HAYI dispenser is waterproof and made from impact-resistant ABS plastic, so if your toddler goes rogue you won’t have to worry about any damage.
Simple, straightforward design. (Amazon/)
This dispenser from Apanage is a great way to get clean hands without any added mess or stress. It can hold up to 250 milliliters of hand soap, sanitizer, or dish soap, so you might as well get three for all your cleaning needs. With a double waterproof base and rubber seals, you’re dispenser will be in business for the long haul. With three different settings, you can choose to receive 1.5, 2.5, or 3 milliliters of soap. You can also use the on/off control button to preserve battery power if you know you won’t need to wash for a while. Your Apanage dispenser will come with 4 AAA batteries and a cleaning sponge, so you won’t have any excuse to get any grime to go away.
That’s one clean finish. (Amazon/)
This is another great product from Qosda. It has all of the great features found in the previous model, but it’s even bigger. This is a great product for larger counter spaces, frequent visitors, or more roommates. It can hold 400ml of liquid (100 more than the previous model) and measures 8.7 by 2.8 inches. We also can’t get over the lighter wood finish. Choose between your favorite dish soap for the kitchen or hand soap for the bathroom and watch this thing work its magic, you won’t be disappointed.
