To me, personally, the defining characteristic of Karai is that she's Shredder's Daughter. Sure, it was a fun twist to have her also be Splinter's daughter. Sure, it's cute when she's flirty with Leo. But that's not her Core. Her Core is that she's Shredder's Daughter, he's a villain and she's not. She's an anti-hero or an anti-villain, she's not quite a villain - not quite a hero, with morals that Shredder doesn't have and she either rejects him becoming a hero or embraces him becoming a villain. And that fascinating relationship, Karai and Her Father The Shredder, is her Core and she that doesn't have to be tied to the Turtles or Hamato's in any way shape or form.

Something that I was kind of thinking about was how Leo has a habit of trying to sacrifice himself that can be seen throughout Rise & the Rise movie, & something that I have kind of seen a few people talk about is how the events of the Rise movie have possibly taught Leo that putting others lives before his own is the right thing to do which kind of made me think of the "you're worth more than what you can give to other people" line from She-Ra & how Leo might possibly need to hear something like that himself.

Something that I was kind of thinking about was who would Leo hear that line from through as it might possibly fit with an alternate version of Leo who understand the Leonardo trait of sacrificing themselves for their family, Karai who Leo has parallels with as they both tried to sacrifice themselves by sealing themselves away with an enemy or even possibly one of the mystic warriors that Splinter mentions in the Rise movie since I have kind of seen a few people talk about is the possibility that the Turtles might possibly be the reincarnations are all kind of possibilities for Leo to have a sort of emotional talk with.

Introducing Oroku Miwa! 🎉 Since the name Karai already exists in this universe, I decided to give my character a similar vibe. And guess what? In the 2012 series, Karai's name was Miwa, so it just felt right! Can't wait to dive into her backstory, add some juicy context, maybe even explore her through comics, and if I'm feeling super creative, write a fanfic! Who knows, the possibilities are endless! 📚✨

Oh, and here's a little heads up, my dear friends: The art style on this channel will keep evolving because I'm currently learning how to draw, and I haven't found my own unique style just yet. I love Sunverse April and Karai they are very dear to me.. Splinter raises April in sunverse which changes nothing but also everything at the same time. She was given to him when she was about three. Her and Karai are sisters they were raised side by side (don't break up the sister duo) Karais been with Splinter since she was born. The turtles are in Splinters possession about six months to a year later??

April's bio parents are not important to sunverse at all, even before Splinter she was not raised by them.

Something I was kind of thinking about was due to how Karai says in the episode 'Shreddy or Not' that she was sealed away with the Shredder around 500 years ago it is possible that Karai was possibly from the Sengoku Period of Japan which kind of made me think about how in Kimetsu no Yaiba, Yoriichi was from the Sengoku era as well, which kind of made me think that in a Demon Slayer Rise crossover Karai & Yoriichi could have possibly been around at the same time as each other.
