the last scene in su-zakana (s2ep8) is one of the best and wackiest hannibal scenes, so I’m here to appreciate it:

dramatic dialogue in a car set to even more dramatic music to kick this whole thing off (“I’m alone in that darkness.” “You’re not alone, Will. I’m standing right beside you.” fuckin hell calm down lads)

the soundtrack kills it with building up some sweet sweet tension

the one and only “Is your social worker in that horse?” 👌👍

hannibal’s face during that line. can i hear a wahoo for mads mikkelsen being subtle but hilarious

peter’s confession and will’s response is genuinely emotional. that gets me.

“I envy you your hate. Makes it easier when you know how to feel.” 

the PARALLELS 

but then will’s genuine surprise when he realises ingram isn’t dead... not everyone jumps straight to killing people no matter how bad mate you’re just weird-

peter’s dialogue really makes you think yes. I understand why someone would want to sew their social worker into a horse and later realise wait what the fuck did i watch

hannibal just vibing in the room with a man in a horse and stroking that sheep

“might want to crawl back in there if you know what’s good for you.”

the CINEMATOGRAPHY 

hannibal stepping aside and will is behind him with the gun bc he knows he’ll be there-

the score goes OFF

not only has mr graham brought a fresh fashion sense into his life, he’s also completely different with a gun. your first though is to compare his steadiness to when he shot garret jacob hobbs and be slapped in the face with one and a half season’s worth of character development

hugh dancy’s acting. as always. you see his entire thought process without any words

Favourite episode and why: Su-zakana as well! I die a little on the inside every time during this episode, it’s just amazing and crazy all around. It’s also the one I love to discuss with others the most because it gets so many great reactions.

Least favourite episode and why: I don’t care much for Œuf; not interested in the case and tbh I don’t remember much from it. 

Favourite main character: everyone Will Graham

Favourite side character: Chiyoh!!!

If you could bring back one character who died, who would it be? Beverly because she obviously deserves it and because she balanced Zeller and Price out very nicely.

Dish prepared in the show that you would like to try eating/making: The meal Hannibal and Will made together with “Freddie’s” remains looks absolutely delicious to me.

Which side character would you kill off? Mason if he wasn't already dead.

Was there any scene that you didn’t like to look at? Uhm yes?? The lobotomy I cannot watch to this day, same with the eyeless guy in the same episode, also the mural scene when that guy rips himself free.

Biggest ship: so there’s this cannibal and that empathy guy...

Why did you start watching Hannibal? I’ve been a fan of The Silence of the Lambs ever since I was like 14 or 15, so when I found out that there was a show about Hannibal I immediately wanted to watch it. Jokes on me though because I didn’t get around to it until I was 18!!! The missed potential of not being a Hannibal stan in school is honestly depressing to think about.

Favourite Hannibal fic if you’ve read any: The Shape of Me Will Always Be You makes me go insane.

Have you watched any of the Hannibal films? Yes, all of them except Manhunter which I need to watch asap.

Have you read the Thomas Harris books? I’ve read Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal and am currently reading Hannibal Rising.

Favourite murder tableau: Probably Randall in the museum, I just love all of the episodes with/about him.

Favourite blood spill: The dragon slaying...other TV shows could never. NEVER.

What’re some of your headcanons? I don’t think I have any except that Will can speak French and Spanish fluently and that he and Hannibal talk in these languages all the time.

bruh one of my favorite scenes in this fucking show is in su-zakana when that dude fucking crawls out of the horse and everything about the way that scene is filmed, and the dialogue, all of it it’s just amazing -- ( Hannibal vc: you may want to crawl back in there if you know what’s good for you ) and then side stepping so elegantly to reveal will ??? with the gun ???
