There is so much lore for chef-husband and me. You'd think his cooking would've been the thing that drew me to him, but it was actually the fact he was a drummer in a thrash-metal band. Metal drummer meets classical violinist? Fun combo 👌

Ferrets make amazing pets, little fuzzy noodles. So bendy, flexy and so so playful. They sleep for up to 20 hours a day: but the four they're awake? Pure chaos. Reminds me of a certain 3-sword wielding first mate 😏

A Day in My Life

I'll write the things I've done, thought, and felt today as much as I can because today I am happy.

To start, I woke up at exactly 6 am. I read two chapters from the "Second Book of Chronicles" and contemplated on how victorious conquerors like, King David, treated their captives. Those days were barbaric but David, as Jehovah's servant, ordered the captives to build weapons for his army. I also promised myself to research on why is numbering Jehovah's worshippers a detestatble thing for Jehovah. I cannot understand that part well, so if I had data I'll look it up.

After that, I charged my phone took a bath, and skinned my legs ( I have five red spots of clot on my right leg, at least by now I know the razor is sharp hehe). I ate a hearty breakfast of vegetables and fish stew. I wore a pink blouse and a gray skirt today. I went to KH and found it was still close, so I head to Ate Ayan's only to find a miserable Ate Shee Ann worrying about her daughter because Kaye left the house. After  petting Moshi, talking nonsense to Leonard (Ate Shee Ann's baby), and sharing rebel stories with Judy, Kaye was found by his father and off they went home.

The crisis was solved and it was 9 am when our group decided to preach at Homewood (name of an inn, we preached at the surrounding neighbourhood there). Talked to Aileen about the future and promised to talk about the reasons why we suffer today once I happen to drop by at their place.. I was quite distracted with my company because they were planning to go to Kuya Lino's farm to harvest fruits. By 10 am, we left the place and I headed home because I cannot imagine myself going to Bukidnon wearing a skirt to reap fruits and besides I got a lot of recording to do.

I bought a kilo of rambutans as I went home and ate them together with my mother, who was busy washing our clothes. It was 11 am. We argued between going to Bukidnon or not but in the end we decided to stay at home because we were tired of thinking about it. We ate canned tuna which my brother bought for lunch. After that, my mom cleared the table and I put all my papers on top of it including my old laptop, my purple highlighter, and my pink flexy ruler. I tuned in to "Mellow Touch" and began working. I dozed by 12:30 pm woke up by 1:10 pm because I forgot to reset my alarm. I continued working until 5 pm. What I like about recording scores is that I can do it 'semi-consciously'. I do not have to think hard and I still have enough brain cells to decipher the lyrics of love songs played on the radio. I found a song which perked my intetest. It talked about owning the consequences of your decisions and stop apologizing about them because after all, you wanted the things or events that had happened and that song about letting it all be because both of you learned to live without each other for a long time so why not make it forever? Do not rekindle the spark anymore, both of you are still alive and breathing anyway? Also you know, I love songs from 90s boy bands so, the Backstreet Boys' singing "I Want It That Way" was a fun distraction. You know, I love listening to the radio because you'll never know what song will be played next. Good ol' stuff. Good ol' stuff. Hehe.

By 5pm, my mom and I went to Gaisano to eat doughnuts. My brother was craving for them, so we went there. I ordered tuna bunwich and hot choco while mom got herself two raspberry-filled doughnuts (ulk) and hot choco. We sat at our spot and the best part was we did not have seatmates! Ahahaha. We ate silently and stared into space. We were both zoning out and it was okay. I was busy rereading the first chapter of "Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen because I have trouble adjusting to Austen's writing style. After a couple of pages, I talked to my mom and took some mundane pictures. We bought doughnuts for my brother before we left. We were caught up by heavy rain and half of our bodies were soaked. We had to wade through the dirty floodwater to get home but anyway, we had fun hehe was quite worried about my legs because I scraped them and they were exposed to dirty water. I needed to wash my feet thoroughly. I forgave the rain because I was on my bed with four pillows and two blankets rewatching "Bridgette Jone's Diary". I ate dinner in between (dinner was boiled eggplant, fried fish, and canned tuna leftover). I finished the movie and went to tutor my neighborhood kids but it was already 8 pm and their house was dark, so I went home and typed how my day - - today- - went.

For what reason? Because I was wondering if I'll ever find somebody whom I will be comfortable doing those things with. You see, I want to be left alone most of the time and I thrive on enjoying simple moments. I seldom talk and I stay inside my head most of the time. I do not want to be entertained because I seldom get bored, so I treat people like that too. I just leave them on their own because I'm not good at entertaining people anyway.

That's all. This is waaaay too detailed and personal I know. I need to tone this down if I'll ever post this on social media.

not tot related just me getting VERY anxious so it's not too important so i can actually use a read more haha: is anybody else like me irt needing at LEAST five things to be happening at once for like, productivity to happen?

back in january, no joke, i was once sewing an entire dress while transcribing a 2hour zoom call (freelance work) WHILE writing fanfiction. and i got all those things done when they needed to be done. but that was me unemployed. things r different when employed, yea?

in my last job (which is very very very corporate and also sucked) i had a hard time for a lot of reasons but one of them is bc i had to be doing one thing at a time, on the job. theres no space for me to open a new tab for something interesting, every task took up so much space for that. not only did that make me sad as fuck, it also just did NOT activate my brain. brain was like, "the activity quota hasnt been reached, we dont turn on yet!!" and im pointing at the task like BUT I HAVE TO DO THIS and brain is like "tough luck, scrub!!!" i was working so slowly and so badly lmao.

current job is a lot more flexible tho in like, every way. flexi hours as long as i timekeep everything right but bros, i have a timekeep topic thats labeled "personal development" which is basically "theres nothing for me to do" and when i checked my prev salary, those hours were still included in my work hours. what? anyway, a bunch of coworkers have shared that they sometimes play video games or the like while working, bc of focus issues like me. and so i feel p safe doing the same shit, i get all my work tasks done alongside writing thousands of words of tot fandom bullshit and doing tot dailies and petting luke plush.

i cannot stress enough that being able to do this allows me to work better. my writing for both work and fandom bullshit is just....much more lively. and the amount of shit i write for both work and fandom daily? you dont wanna know. it's a LOT. and i work faster too!! i have to overtime every once in a while in this job, but it's more often i find myself with personal development time because i managed to finish so much ahead of time. and most of the time i feel GOOD. most of the time this FEELS GREAT. i feel energized and happy with the stuff im making

but now im getting worried (typical) that maybe im just being lazy????

like idk, i believe in "work smart, not hard" and "work with your brain quirks, not against them" but WHAT IF I COULD BE DOING THINGS IN A MORE STREAMLINED EFFECTIVE PRODUCTIVELY BETTER QUALITY MANNER????

im game to give up feeling "good" if it means i can write faster and better. i have not been diagnosed with ADHD but i have a...suspicion? but idk if it's ADHD or just another facet of bipolar disorder, which i am diagnosed with.

oh god, one huge con of my workstyle is that it is messy. i get everything done but sometimes people need to yank me back and ask me where a certain thing is because it slipped through the cracks and i forgot about it and oh god. im not feeling very okay anymore but mY POINT MY POINT IS!!

What coats do your cats wear? Mine shiver even in 14 degree weather. I just got light sweaters for cheap since theyre still growing. How do you help cold paws in winter? Zuko and Arwen love outside time on their flexi leashes and i dont want to stop for winter if i dont have to

I’m not sure if you mean 14 Fahrenheit or Celsius and those are very different things 😂

Dave’s sweater is RC Pets brand and I’m very happy with it. It is only a fleece, but it fits him pretty well and he can walk in it, which is better than most coats out there. He is very cold tolerant though, so it might not be suitable for your cats in the coldest temperatures. I’m happy with the brand and fit though!

Kepler’s coat is Bella and Bailey brand, and extremely warm since it has a fuzzy (Sherpa?) lining. Unfortunately it is quite short in the back, like most dog coats seem to be, so I don’t reccomend that one unless you have a chance to try it on your cats before buying it.

I’ve been in the market for a new coat for Kepler for a while now, and I’ve yet to find one that fits him. Cats are not shaped like dogs, but unfortunately all the good outdoor coats are made for dogs. :/ My best advice is to try on the pet coats at the store the best you can before buying any, because it’s a toss up whether or not they will fit.

As for cold paws, I just keep an eye on them and bring them inside if they start shaking their feet or acting uncomfortable. If you want to go on longer walks with your cats, it might be a good idea to bring a backpack or tote bag for them to sit in to keep their paws off the ground if they get too cold.

We've released a new articulated toy - Labrador Retriever. The dog has better looking legs thanks to a new joint there and the new head attachment system that works! The Lab is available as STL and 3MF files for 3d printers on Cults3d, Creality Cloud, Patreon and My Mini Factory (we're going to start selling files there in March-April 2024). But if you don't have printer and don't know where you can print it, you can get already print of the dog from our partners (we're going to create a list of them in March and then we'll publish it) We hope you'll like it!

Em only tried to eat one dog today!

It was a boxer mix and on a flexi but the owner thankfully quickly got control and apologized for letting him run up. Then Missy and Kaos formed a block between that dog and Em Everytime he came in sight.

Only like two ppl pet Em, but I'm glad some ppl did bc that made him super happy!

After writing The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie for Warner Bros., Jared Stern has been hired by the studio to write and direct Super Pets, an animated movie about DC characters’ pets.

It’s unclear whether Stern will use DC’s Legion of Super-Pets or the Cartoon Network series as the basis for the script, or whether he’ll create new characters better suited to his vision for the film. The Super-Pets team first appeared together in Adventure Comics #293 (February 1962), though most of the members had appeared in earlier issues.

Over the years, those members included Krypto the Super-Dog, Streaky the Super-Cat, Beppo the Super-Monkey and Comet the Super-Horse from the Superman and Superboy comics; Damian Wayne’s dog Titus; Aquaman’s seahorse Storm; plus Flexi the Plastic Bird, Bat-Cow and Clay Critter, who was killed by Dex-Starr and Harley Quinn’s hyenas Bud and Lou. Krypto the Super-Dog also had his own comic series and animated series, both of which featured appearances from other Super Pets.

Stern got his start contributing material to animated movies like Bolt, The Princess and the Frog, and Wreck-It Ralph, before writing the live-action comedies The Internship, The Watch and Mr. Popper’s Penguins. He recently directed the Netflix comedy Happy Anniversary starring Noël Wells and Ben Schwartz, and he also executive produced a pair of animated films for Warner Bros. — Storks and the upcoming Smallfoot. Stern is also writing and executive producing an adaptation of Dr. Seuss‘ classic children’s book Green Eggs and Ham for Netflix and WBTV, as well as a feature adaptation of Seuss’ The Cat In the Hat for Warner Bros. Animation. Additionally, Stern wrote the animated musical Meet the Beetles for Warners, the animated movie It’s a Small World for Disney, and the highly-regarded screenplay Home Movies for Amblin and Shawn Levy‘s 21 Laps banner, which numerous A-list stars have flirted with over the years.

This sounds like a different and interesting project, and is one I’m definitely intrigued to see.

Dog Harnesses For Toy Breeds - A Smart and Stylish Choice

For all those folks who own toy breeds, the frightening sounds of coughing, shallow breathing or in the extreme, listening into your tiny Maltese honk like a barnyard goose could be too familiar. Most frequently these symptoms result from an upset, or in more severe cases, a collapsed trachea. Even though these signs are unnerving to all those new dog owners that are not familiar with this disorder, it is a relatively common one. Estimates range between 20-40percent of toy dogs will develop some kind of tracheal disorder. The highest risk breeds are among our tiniest canine companies: Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, Pomeranians, Italian Greyhounds, Maltese, and Toy Poodles.

If your little dog sometimes exhibits these symptoms, you might notice that a tug on your dog's collar, while out for a stroll, may suddenly bring them . It is necessary to see that tracheal disorders are congenital. A yank on a collar rarely, if ever does cause a collapsed trachea. However it can certainly exacerbate an already existing issue or flip a predisposition into the issue. Tugging on a collar may easily make the irritation that leads to coughing, which consequently, further irritates the trachea.

TAKE 3 MEASUREMENTS - around your pet's neck, along the length of your dog's spine (topline) from where the collar lays to the base of your dog's tail, and around the biggest part of your puppy (girth) which is usually just behind the front legs. ADD 2 inches into the girth measurement.

THINK COMFORT - Avoid harnesses which have pressure spots where they could rub and irritate your pet's skin. Nylon and a few bare leathers have a tendency to do that. Pick soft fabrics that"breathe". 100% cotton, or soft, porous, semi-stretch, neoprene combinations are excellent because they are machine washable and dry fast. If leather is what you need, try rounded or"tubular" leather, and though it could be a bit more expensive, purchase a buttery soft leather harness. It'll last forever, keep to soften with age, and look fabulous!

LOVE WHAT YOU CHOOSE - If you like the harness you've selected, you'll be motivated to help your puppy learn how to enjoy it as well. Like dog collars and other forms of dog clothes , dog harnesses come in an assortment of topics - preppie, rocker, antique, biker, princess, surfer, athletic, camouflage, floral, patriotic, contemporary, classic, even psychedelic! They come in a normal adjustable design, a vest design, and a flexi design (meaning the head extends through the neck opening with the strap moving up and around the puppy's belly with a quick release mechanism on the side). For all those of us who love to dress our small dogs, there's no need to strap a tap on a gorgeous outfit. Now, even the cutest dog dresses, dog tee shirts and even small dog polo tops were created with hardy harnesses built into them!

HAVE FUN - Dogs are creatures of habit. As you have likely already experienced, new things are approached with caution and often resistance. Adding a tap in your dog's already contented life might require some ingenuity and much more than just a little patience. Be prepared and keep your sense of humor when attempting to harness your dog for the first time. Beware of the classic puppy defensive movement, when initially approached with a harness, that's the rollover. Sometimes it happens before you even get close. More often it occurs just when you think it was a breeze and you'll be able to snap that buckle, and in a flash that your pup rolls and turns into dead weight. When you attempt to set your pup back on all fours, he suddenly develops"jelly legs"! Another move to anticipate is the"I just want to see what you're doing" twirl. It is next to impossible to put a harness on a puppy while it is trying to observe what your hands are doing! (It is pretty funny to watch someone try to, however.)

To avoid these challenges, we advise that you lift and put your puppy on a bench or table in which you have more control over the action and your puppy has less room to maneuver. Talking to your dog on your"good dog" voice also helps. But first and foremost make each time that you put in your dog's harness a prelude to a ride in the vehicle, or a walk into the park, a cookie treat, or something quite enjoyable. If you make the association between the harness and the subsequent positive action really apparent, it won't require more than a few times before your dog is so happy about wearing the harness, getting him to quit wiggling with enthusiasm is going to be your only challenge!
