What Are The Best Chew Toys For Puppies? And Benefits
What Are The Best Chew Toys For Puppies? And Benefits
Bringing home a new puppy is like bringing a newborn human baby. Human babies have gentle skin and mouths that require care. Likewise, puppies need some care when playing with teething toys. Many dog owners pass tennis balls to their puppies to play with. However, human baby toys and pet toys are different. Human toys can wreak havoc on the jaw and can cause dental problems in puppies in the long…

I don't know if you mean separate or all of them together. I can change it into your desired concept if I make a mistake.

Michael
You found a little moving flexie stick, you thought it was adorable so you grabbed it and placed it on you hand and it just slithered around and flicked it's tongue at you.
Michael was looking for you and then he heard fast little footsteps behind him.
And behind him was you holding a small snake.
Immediate panic.
What if it's poisonous!? What if it bites you and you die??? Let go of it right now.
"dad, look its a-"
He grabbed that thing by its supposed throat and threw it at the ground.
"dad!" you yelled out.
"what did you do to my friend.." you started to cry so he quickly picked it up and gave it to you again. The snake is traumatised and hurt but you don't need to know that.
He's keeping two eyes though.
Sinclair brothers
You crouched down. You saw a big green line, you thought it was cool af so you just put it around your neck and tried your best to run to your brothers with the heavy weight on your shoulders and neck.
Lester and Vincent in the trunk of Lester's car and bo just leaning against the doors probably smoking and or drinking a bevarage.
"aye.. Where's y/n gon' to?" bo asked.
"oh shit, I completely forgot bout' them!" Lester exclaims.
"Goddammit, why can't you ev-"
"I'm right here!" a high pitched voice replies. All three of them surprised to see you holding a big green snake around you.
"y/n let go of that thang right now!" Lester is scared for your life
"what, but its my noodle friend." you respond sadly.
"like hell it's a noodle, what if it bites you?" bo says
Vincent is just trying to pry it off you subtly, he's trying the best of his abilities he's careful not to anger or make it feel threatened. Jonesy is barking at it.
When the snake opened its mouth was just when bo threw it off you. The snake just hissed at you three and scurried off to the woods.
Vincent picked you up and to the car and sat you down, a signal to not leave their side again, god knows what would've happened if that snake really did bite you.
Hannibal
Hannibal took you to a park. You loved playing there, you were stepping on the crunchy dead leaves and you spotted an orange snake with black and white lines which you almost stepped on.
It was just chilling on the ground and you had the uncontrollable urge to pick it up. And so you did and it did not snarl at you or act aggressive. You were starting fall in love with this snake.
"hey y/n, what's that you're holding?" one of your playground-mates asked you.
"look, a noodle!" you excitedly said to them but became confused when your other friends started screaming and running to their parents. This of course alerted hannibal as he came to the commotion.
"y/n what hap-" he stopped his sentence as he saw the snake in your arms, He sighed.
"y/n put that down."
"why? it's my friend."
"just-put it down you're scaring your frinnds."
"okay.." you let go of your little friendly friend onto the ground softly.
"can we please keep it?"
".... Maybe when you're older."
Billy & stu
Each of your two hands held the finger of your two parents. They were dressed as their iconic black robe and ghostly screaming face. You didn't know why but they drop you off somewhere maybe in your house or in the woods irresponsibly and come back covered in a weird dark sticky red liquid and a metallic smell.
You were in your backyard. They gently take their fingers away from your hand and tell you.
"okay y/n, we'll be back like always!" Stu your father said.
"and don't run off." your other father Billy added.
"I know." you say with an innocent smile. They strutted their way out the door. You have many toys and plastic/toy slide and swings that they stole brought just for you.
But the one thing tha caught your attention the most is a ssss sound. You crawl over to that sound and find a familiar looking snake. It had golden like skin with dark patterns. You saw on a documentary maybe it was called a pie.... Thong...? It doesn't matter.
The beautiful looking snake was making its way towards you not meaning any harm. It went up your arms and you patted it.
Few minutes later they come back. Unusual for them to back so early but maybe they got lucky in their "work".
Stu takes off his mask off immediately.
"hey y/n we're home!" he runs to their backyard and instantly starts shrieking.
Billy gets startled and runs to your location.
"WHAT WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING."
"LOOK AT Y/N!"
"WHAT DID THEY DIE?"
Billy was extremely reliefed to find you alive but was not relieved enough because there was a bigass snake all over you.
"SHIT WHAT DO WE DO BILLY."
"KILL IT!"
"noo! I'm not gonna let you kill noodle." you say with a frown.
"noodle!? That is a snake!" Stu tries to get you to let go of the animal.
Billy came back armoured with a long tong in his left hand and three knives in his right.
"alright, so I'm just.. Gonna pick the little fella up and let it be free where it belongs, okay?"
"but-"
"the lil dude doesn't belong here, he needs to be with his family, he must miss them right?" Stu tries to desperately make you let him go without you crying.
You give up and watch the armoured Billy cautiously throw it away. Stu then picks you up and takes Billy's hand and run into the house to go watch a movie.
"maybe we shouldn't just leave you alone like that..."
I finally finished one after 35 years.

my cat sometimes wants to do zoomies when on leash, but that means i have to run after him, and when i run after him he gets scared and suddenly it's just an awkward "pls stop im not chasing you oh my god dont hurt yourself"
This happens when Dave gets scared on walks. 🤦‍♀️ He wants to run home, but if I start speed walking/running after him he’s like “oh no if the big human is running too it must be REALLY scary”. Not a good time.
It’s a bit different than your situation, but I’ve found that it helps to have a distraction for the cat. A treat or even high value toy can redirect him closer so he’s not attempting to strangle himself on the end of the leash. If you have a long leash/flexi lead, then you might even be able to redirect that energy into something like treat toss (or fetch, if your cat is into that like Kepler). Try to bring his focus back to you/your immediate area and reward him heavily for doing so!

We've released a new articulated toy - Labrador Retriever. The dog has better looking legs thanks to a new joint there and the new head attachment system that works! The Lab is available as STL and 3MF files for 3d printers on Cults3d, Creality Cloud, Patreon and My Mini Factory (we're going to start selling files there in March-April 2024). But if you don't have printer and don't know where you can print it, you can get already print of the dog from our partners (we're going to create a list of them in March and then we'll publish it) We hope you'll like it!
Happy Flexi pets is our other project where we create articulated toys, figurines, magnets, keychains and other things for home 3d printing. There is no shipping, customs and waiting when the toy arrives. You just need to buy a file of the design and print it at home! You can see more our designs on Instragram

I have a lot of videos that I’ll probably sort through later but general pride parade write up:
Did disc time yesterday to meet her needs so it would be easier to settle today, walked all the way to the parade to familiarize with being on a roadside, car sounds, get all the sniffs. She was very focused and on point with noisy motorcycle rumbles and such so we knew we were good to go. If she had been nervous just with traffic sounds we would’ve just gone home instead.
Got there early to get the perfect Yoshi spot and give her ample time to cool down from the hot walk, take in the environment, de-stress and get her in the relaxed n cozy headspace. We positioned ourselves by a sheltered bus stop so we could easily back away if she needed space but no one would be packed behind us and it gave us an easy 10ft of space where dogs couldn’t be passing behind us. She settled right out the gate after cooling down easily.
Totally relaxed with crowds buzzing by, people sitting near, I did have to tell a few people not to touch her as they just tried to do drive by pets. But everyone at least listened and moved on. Todays already stressful enough for her I’m not gonna make her tolerate 100 pets. Plus literally none of them asked. A couple Flexi dogs on the way to our spot which Yoshi handled like a pro, swapped sides and strutted by easily, maintained an easy settle with dogs walking by behind us on the other side of our lovely bus stop barrier.
Parade started with the dykes on bikes so that startled Yo, lots of loud revving. She curled in to my lap and really squished in, ears back, very stressed. She did shake for about a minute or two? But was able to calm down with pets and treats, I covered her ears to try to dull the sounds for her but she just hated having her head restrained like that she she opted out of that. The bikes were stopped in front of us while the rest of the parade caught up so she got to listen to the softer rumbles and gained quite a bit of comfort with the sounds before they left. Still sitting on me but the shaking stopped and her ears started to perk up for bursts.
Next was a marching band which she very much seemed to like, something about the brass instrument sounds really caught her interest and caused a lot of forwards ears, head tilts, and curiosity. Still curled up in my lap, taking treats a bit stressed but less stressed. Shuffled further back to add some space and have Jack be a barrier between her and the stuff going on.
Shifted to walking people and cars which is where she was really able to start de stressing and relax for. Popped off to the ground and started wanting to walk closer to the curb and sniff the things going by, less stressed more curious and wary. Someone gave us a freezie which I shared with her and she suddenly realized that this chaos brings sugar? Amazing! Enjoyed her cool snack and started laying down on the cement, mostly just people screaming and car honking at this point, pretty relaxed but putting her ears back when the volume gets too loud, no other stress signs. She saw fursuits, mascots, and an array of large props which didn’t even phase her.
Floats going by with loud speakers, at this point she actually took a small nap, her ears didn’t go straight back too much but may airplane at very loud spots, otherwise she was pretty much confident here, calmly laying down, perky eared watching, squeezing between Jack to get closer to the parade and see what’s happening. Some floats had bike horns that sounded like squeaky toys, she liked those very much. Started getting some of that post-stress energy where she got very wiggly and needed some good ol booty rubs, she tried to solicit attention from strangers at this point which I did veto since I didn’t feel she was totally actually wanting that. She was just releasing stress energy, not really consciously thinking about what she was doing. She settled down again pretty quick after that, mostly laying her head down, hip popped, just cozy.
There were some dogs in the actual parade, Yo handled most of them very very well, looking and looking away for a treat, calm and relaxed. There was one dog that she barked at, it was reactive and losing its marbles very close to the curb. I’m sad she barked but also? She didn’t even get up. She was still laying down popped hip, perky eared, didn’t even remotely try to lunge in the slightest. Just one single bark then disengaged and settled. With all the chaos and stress going on I’m pretty proud of her despite that moment.
She shook that off incredibly well, immediately back to being comfortable and content, no additional stress lingering or affecting her capacity to manage everything else going on.
Ending the parade we hopped in to the secluded bus stop to allow everyone else to follow it which gave Yo an easy 5 ft radius of clear space. When we left it was still busy and she was a bit pully, understandably so with the stress. Even with that she wasn’t too bad, still following directions, when we hit the first intersection she had already shaken off and loosened the lead with ample check ins. She was following me pretty well, moving away from people and swapping sides when asked to easily. Passing the dogs wasn’t a problem at all. Crossed the road when we could to get out of the crowds and that was pretty much that. Free loose sniffy walk home where any residual stress vanished.
She got loads of exposure, and any stress she did experience she was able to release and recover from very quickly. She’s becoming quite the resilient little nugget!

wtf you have Nico as guest over at sky uk??? sorry for you my man... also, not sure why everyone's harping on the mercedes wing breaking the rules because it doesn't??? where did this bs news come from now?
APPARENTLY *angry grumbling*
And sky were the ones talking about it, it’s possible that the rear wing MAY not fit within regulation *technically* but I call bull on that, Merc isn’t stupid.
I think what the pundits may have poorly phrased is something similar to flexi wings and flexi floors, it doesn’t fit the SPIRIT of the regulation, but it fits the legal wording. It’s loopholed, in essence, and it’s incredibly petty and clever of Merc to do that, essentially look the fia in the eye and say “if you aren’t penalising it for them, you can’t do it for us” (this is just MY speculation)
But also, we don’t know, Merc won’t put something on the car that will break a rule people are bringing up before they’ve even installed it, they aren’t that stupid. It may not even work well, it might just be something they’re toying with for next year

Gnawing is such a great decompression activity for dogs. It helps relieve tension, it’s low impact so they can do it when they’re sick or injured, it can be good for their teeth (if you are strict about what kind you get) and a chew toy doesn’t come with the added calories of a snuffle, lick mat or other food-based enrichment toy.
Mandana is very particular about what kind of chew toys she’ll use. She isn’t a power chewer but her all-time favorite is HARD. Like straight up metal. I tried to be careful and only give her things that were composite (as opposed to solid nylon) but she did end up getting a slab fracture on her molar last year.
When that happened I threw out any toy that was too hard or oddly shaped (like something that could create a wedge between her teeth or something her teeth could easily slip on). She used to chew several times a day, usually after training sessions and outings (recommended by my service dog academy). When I took away the harder toys she just stopped chewing all together. I went on a hunt for softer chew toys and was surprised to not find very many. We tried pretty much every one we could find and most of them she completely refused to use.
I was finally able to get her to start chewing again by using these two chew toys with cheese or peanut butter spread on top:
After she started chewing again she would occasionally pick up these three:
https://www.petsmart.com/featured-brands/top-paw/top-paw-boss-bonesandtrade-nylon-puppy-chew-dog-toy---3-pack-57573.html?cgid=5000260&fmethod=Browse
(^^^ the orange puppy one only)
I’m glad I was able to give her back that activity but she didn’t love any of them. Going into her surgery I knew she would need something to help her decompress, so here’s what I found:
ZEUS DUO
I haven’t seen her this excited about a chew toy since I took away her composite ones. They have all the features she enjoys. They have enticing shapes and flavors. The have a hard nylon core with durable textured rubber coating. There is another toy I’ve tried in the past that has an almost identical design (made by Nerf) however they were large & heavy and she didn’t even want to pick them up let alone chew on them. These toys have a much better shape and a variety of sizes. I’ve only had them for one day so I can’t speak on the durability. Mandana IS NOT a power chewer and a lot of reviews for this brand suggest power chewers will destroy these immediately, but if you have a picky chewer like me they might be worth the try.
And yes they are expensive. The price is comparable to Playology. The difference being that she actually likes these and will use them. One broken tooth cost us almost $2000 and would have been 5-7k had it cracked deeper. Extracting a tooth is a much cheaper option but we really didn’t want to do that for such a big tooth in a young dog. My point is that an $20 chew toy is a heck of a lot cheaper 🥲
On that note, a foreign object surgery is also thousands of dollars so keep that in mind when reading this post. All of the chew toys I’ve listed are easily broken apart by any dog that’s not a very moderate chewer so be careful and supervise your pups when they are chewing.
