I love how you draw Grim the size of a small cat. It genuinely blows my mind that according to the game he's actually approximately 70 cm tall... Like, Ortho is 148 cm. That's only two Grims! If Grim stands on Ortho's head, they'd be just a bit taller than Malleus (who is 202 cm and I'm not sure that's counting the horns)! The proportions are just so wild to try to imagine realistically... (and I do like the small cat Grim take more, it's very endearing)
every time I remember Grim is actually supposed to be the size of, like, a medium-to-largeish dog, and then I just...draw him cat-sized anyway. I also think it's cuter that way! 🤷 (let's just say he's not allowed to ride the servant unless he takes the shrinking potion first.)
ultimately I figure we all get a little artistic license in our fanart, and mine are:
cat-sized Grim

Has Ben's habit of casual flirting caused any problems for him or the team?
Probably not as much as his casual flexing with Omnitrix tbh xD Which is basically flirting for this guy!
Though admittingly HoM Ben is not as flirty as it might seem at first. As he grew up, it became, as you said, a habit - more of a part of his heroic/public persona that he developed after becoming a hero celebrity across the (alien part of) universe.
It tends to make people (especially those who know him by his reputation first) feel easier around him and/or underestimate him if he is just some silly guy who flirts. (I mean he is silly guy who casually flirts, but he is also just a dude and so much more, as we all know.)
There were a few instances when it brought trouble, but also sometimes it helped them out too. But, let's just say that HoMies tend to look out for Ben not to say something unfortunate whenever he tends to be too friendly.
Actually there is another casual flirter in their friend group that brings almost as much trouble as Ben - it's Jake! Some of his casually flirty/overly friendly behaviour can be attributed to him becoming an American Dragon in his early teens (he really enjoyed his newfound cool dragon powers and popularity amongst magical folk), and some of it is just his personality (his behaviour was incredibly cringy at times when he was younger, but as he matured, it changed into something a little bit more charming).
When those two are on a mission together, others have to work overtime to keep an eye on them.
Which is ironic, because I 100% headcanon almost all of the HoMies masters of accidental rizz: they make people like them just by being themselves lol.

trying to divorce myself from personal bias here - I really think a Kyoya Ootori in 2024 would be openly gay and monetize it more than he already was….. with the numbers gays pull it’s simply the most logical choice

Ganymede: So, who were your exes before you met your current partners?
Psyche: Nobody wanted to date me.
Ariadne: I ran away with Theseus, and he dumped me for my sister.
Hyacinthus: Thamyris was my childhood sweetheart who wanted to sleep with my aunts. Zephyrus was my one-time fling who was married. Boreas and I made out a few times, and he was also married.
Ariadne:
Psyche:
Ganymede: Damn, Hyacinth really got around.

I can’t stop thinking about the parallels between Angel and Rhys
Not only were both of them pretty damn young, Rhys being closer to Angel’s age than Jack’s, but they also used to seek some type of validation from Jack – Angel wanting her father’s love and attention and Rhys wanting his hero’s approval and praise
And Jack used that among other reasons to control them, starting off with promises to have their backs and telling them they’re a “team”
Before he isolated them, continuing to keep Angel locked up (not just “for her own safety” but also for everyone else’s, essentially telling her she’s a danger and that if anything were to happen it would be her and Jack’s fault) and convincing Rhys he couldn’t trust Fiona and co unless he wanted to end up dead or screwed over
Until they eventually tried to break free from Jack which he responded to by attempting to guilt trip them
Both of them also just went through a lot of pain just to get away from Jack; Angel literally asked you to help her commit suicide, screaming in agony as you destroyed the injectors to kill her. Rhys ripped all his cybernetics out, clearly in pain and almost dying from blood loss afterwards
And Jack’s reaction to all of this was very similar as well. He literally pleads with them to stop yet still not acknowledging his own wrongs, telling Angel that he will forgive her, once again deflecting all accountability onto her
In Rhys' case Jack begs for his life which is really interesting because when he is about to die in bl2 he doesn’t. Instead he goes on a long, angry rant spitting insults and yelling until you kill him
Jack is naturally manipulative, sure, but the way he manipulates his enemies vs the people close to him is so different and I feel like Angel and Rhys being treated similarly despite having very different relationships with him shows that 1) yes, Jack actually did care for Rhys somewhat and he really did consider his rejection a deep betrayal and 2) history always repeated itself for Jack and he never wanted to acknowledge it. Instead, he tried to reel them back into his control by making them out to be the bad guys
Basically, I’m insane and I would give anything to see Rhys and Angel interact and talk about their experiences with Jack. Also, they both have chair related trauma. Chair-ed trauma, if you will
