*slides in* let me tell you about the leverage & stargate connections! A: Dean Devlin produced leverage and also created the stargate movie (later helped with SG-1 in the first few seasons) B: in the background of an episode of leverage there are a bunch of 'artifacts' in a bad guys office, those are symbols from the Stargate (representing different constellations) C: Dean/John have said (so Word of God) that part of Elliot's Special Forces background is having been on an SG team for a time. Those are the big ones that I can think of atm!

This is the greatest thing I have ever read in my entire life. Both shows were Family Bonding Night tv time and this makes it all the sweeter. I gotta rewatch SG-1.

YES! It's something I see a lot of in certain fandoms where they tag literally every character in that series for every single post whether its pics/gifs/fics and it will have absolutely no mention of them or won't include them whatsoever.

okay I agree, like s2 of SGA was so tight; the writing, the cast, the sets were just amazing. the show was at its peak during s2 to mid-s3.

yesss I feel like that's the exact way to put it, I think the writing in sga was just tighter than in sg1! Although I'll be honest, there is so much sg1 that I only vaguely remember the last 5 seasons. I just remember the ending of sga was super underwhelming.

finally watched DA2 and that ending hit me in the feels. (although the 'Robert.exe has stopped working' moment was the best)

I mean....yeah, the ending still hurts no matter how many of a rewatch you do

And yes, Robert buffering for a short moment is a funny scene too. One of many short and funny ones in the film :)
