I got given a 6 month Bread club subscription from my wonderful in-laws from @honeywellbiscuitco for my upcoming birthday. The first recipe we received was for a chocolate & hazelnut Babka. 😛🤤🍫 I mean it’s brioche with a ton of chocolate and hazelnuts in it. What’s not to like?! We made it but got a few bits mixed up as toddlers ten to grab things and you can be a bit distracted with one. 😂😂 I was slightly sceptical of the recipe as all others I’ve seen state it needs an overnight cold prove in the fridge and not a warm one. We stuck to the recipe apart from accidentally mixing the sugar up and glazing it before we baked it. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ It didn’t really rise and I don’t know if it’s because we put to much sugar in, the fact that I made it non dairy or if it’s because we had it in the airing cupboard. It is so stodgy in a really gooey delicious chocolate way. Plus Roops loves kneading it as you can see from the super cute singing in the video. A great sensory, hand eye coordination and grip strengthing task! Win win in my book! Can’t wait for next month’s delivery!
