Essay alert....read at your own peril, lol.
I go to Wales in a week, for six consecutive days of coastal path hiking.
Around 90 miles in total.
No time allowances for fasting, no control over meal times or food choices and no breaks.
Anyway, I'm actually really anxious about it. We've done this for the last few years, so it's not something I've not experienced before. But with everything going on with my health right now, I'm not looking forward to it. At all.
But up until then, I'll take it one day at a time....
I'm definitely a bit run down at the moment, and I've been kind to myself the past couple of days.
My brain and body are in all directions.
Trying to figure out how to exchange the missing dairy with cheap alternatives.
Big conversation last night about how tight the house budget is, and how my new restrictions are impacting it.
No idea what to eat instead of the expensive supermarket options.
Plus the ongoing mucus thing.
Worse insomnia than usual.
And now also worrying about a conversation at my appointment yesterday about needing statins (few different reasons, not just my recent high cholesterol result).
But I have to try for a good day today. For both the physical and mental boost.
Might feel totally different tomorrow, lol, but either way, that will be dealt with then.
18hr fast started yesterday after dinner. I'll break it at lunchtime with an omelette.
I started my day early (not on purpose) with my bulletproof.
Then into this pure strength based upper body workout.
No desire for anything cardio this morning, lol.
I used both light and heavier weights depending on the move. Plus one bodyweight move (the crab reaches).
I needed that!
