🔥 + anything tvdu!
this turned more originals centered since Ik I talk about it the least so less of my opinions are recorded/known so that tracks.
I generally enjoy (the girls) no humanity arcs despite their messiness
my ranking of Klaus popular ships that are some level of canon at this point is probably Klayley>Klaurora>Klaroline>>Klamille, I ship the former 3 to different degrees although none is necessarily otp levels.
I’m really neutral on Camille overall I think she’s unfairly hated but I also couldn’t get properly interested in her, she and Davina are probably the two major female TVDu chars that interest me the least even though I don’t have anything against them but I connected to Rebekah Hayley Freya and Aurora all a lot more (even if I find some of the changes to characterization re: the former two from TVD to TO less compelling esp Rebekah I think we agree on this).
I do think Aurora x Camille served a little
Freya and Klaus had at least top 2 most interesting Mikaelson’s relationships to me (Klaus and Rebekah’s best hits are more insane but I probably liked the arc for him and Freya better).
I sort of bounced around on how I felt about MG x Lizzie while legacies aired I liked them most in late s2 when they had some scenes I thought served but everything before and after was meh and the get together in s4 was embarrassing.
Josie x Rafael was underrated and could’ve been good… they’re like Margo x Quentin for me in that it’s not a ship I’m mad about but it was good and compelling esp compared to canon ships and I think it could have saved us from worse things had it been considered seriously. Anyway that siphon kiss moment goes hard
This is barely about TVDu but reading the locked tomb has given me ideas for how insanely good the merge storyline could have been if the writers knew what they were doing and (I love the Saltzman twins dynamic this is well documented) how great the Saltzman twins dynamic could be if it was more like Ianthe and Coronabeth…. Like society one of the twins had siphoned the other twins love interest or someone they cared about deeply and ended the merge that way and then the other twin was jealous of not being siphoned from/killed. The s2 not merge is like even more boring to me now that I have this comparison point
I enjoy Elena and Caroline about equally when I’m watching the show or who I gravitate towards more depends on the storyline or part of the show but I tend to find Elena more interesting to dissect when I’m just thinking about the show and also Caroline’s fandom can be… yeah so I think that leads me to gravitate towards Elena more recently/currently.
maybe less unpopular now based on that poll but s2 is the best TVD season. I love a lot of things in s3 and s6 but both also have more issues s2 is when there was a good balance.
TO s3 was definitely the most engaging TO season for me it’s no secret that I actually struggle to be engaged by TO the most out of the shows, at different points I’ve definitely mused in the tags about why that is but ultimately I think it might just be a me thing without deeper reasoning lolz. But s3 was where I was most entertained. (less sure how popular or unpopular this is since I don’t see a lot of ‘season’ discussions like I do for TVD)
thank you for the ask! might come back and add to this when I’m in a more *yapping about tvdu* mood than I’m in rn.

❛ What about this one? ❜ Jessalyn says, emerald eyes falling on her beloved tribrid queen as she points one of the cakes from the pastries album sitting on her lap. Yep, they were on cake picking duties for their fake wedding. ❛ Without all the black frosting of course. ❜ (from @bloodofire )
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This realm had given Hope many opportunities to use her particular brand of sarcasm though tasting cakes and looking through the expensive fairytales of cake options was not something with which you could add to the list of despicable expectations. It may have been a ruse at the moment. Yet, it was a dream come true to be so close to a woman who was the object of the desires and the very beat of her heart. This version of Jessalyn was arguably her favorite for it was all her in the beauty that should have been a homing beacon to every artist living or dead to take her up as a muse. She was the poetry Hope longed to be fluent in. The girls hair was in an elegant fishtail braid down her back like the column of fire that had led and protected the Israelites in the Bible. The color was vivid and the sort of beauty blood attempted to be. There really should be a test some day on Jess’s face for Hope has spent long enough memorizing her girlfriends to give another artist a perfect likeness. There was something about having friendship blossom into love. It was all new after all. They still knew every piece of one another including the darkest parts. The angel had always been the bright star in her particular brand of darkness for darkness was only the absence of light. It was like a kiss to her soul to see the ring on the redheads finger even if this was more a fantasy of the future than anything else. It also guaranteed that people with bad intentions would have another means of failing miserable. The tribrid’s had her own. Rebekah had insisted that they picked eachothers. If they got back to the French quarter, the Mikealson heir would leave the piece of jewelry in its home on her ivory finger. There were many old traditions that she didn’t care for though the symbolism of an infinite circle placed on the finger with the largest blood vessel that journeyed to your heart. The Mikealson girl bent to press a gentle kiss to the crown of the girl’s head. Their relationship had truly been about falling in love with the soul first. She was definitely carnally attractive to the girl, but there was something lovely in being just as in love and more on the spectrum of cherishing one another than sexual hunger. The cake was probably the only thing Hope would actually insist on having an opinion of at the ceremony. After all, happy bride happy life. Jessalyn was a poet with excellent taste after all. Honestly, Hope had been surprised on how her lover had managed without adding Rebekah to this conversation or Nyx for that matter. Not that she wanted to talk about her at the moment. Elijah had stumbled home with lipstick of his lips. The cake was almost meaningless as Hope turned fully from the book to the girl at her side. Those emerald eyes on a walking day dream might just be the thing that made her heart stop and start transition. “I think your right. Don’t need to give into any of the goth jokes. I think it’s lovely like the bride who chose it. Honestly though, I don’t know how tradition you are or what is expected for the heir of phantom of the opera’s wet dream realm. You know how much I adore baked goods. I like the charming look of it with the edge of unseen power. I’m just grateful I don’t have to cook if after the cookie incident.”

If you asked nicely
Tumblr media
Reader x Mikaelsons
Requested by Anon
When you had fallen asleep Elijah had been neatly sat in one of the chairs in the corner of your room. He was softly reading some old book you’d never heard of. He had come in the angry wake of Klaus.
To his credit Klaus had tried for a day to coax you out of bed, soothing and fussing. He wouldn’t listen when you exclaimed you just want to be left alone for a day. To sleep until you roused only from your body being incapable of sleeping any longer. He had relented when he realised nothing he did would get you up. Not daring to move lest you catch the attention of one of your predatory protectors you stayed still. Hoping for more sleep. You just felt more tired now.
Something twitched the edge of your duvet and before you could decide between snapping your eyes shut and feigning sleep or glaring down whoever dared to disturb you and a new face peaked at you. “Hello Darling!” Kol said cheerfully. He smiled, shoving himself partly under the duvet and looked around as if he was appraising your docile cave. “I thought it sounded like you were awake. Elijah said not to disturb you. Apparently you gave Klaus quite the hard time.”
Amusement played with his face as he watched you. He received a frown. Not one of anger but more one you’d get if you suddenly roused someone with something delightful. You sighed, frowned and turned your head so you wouldn't have to look at him but by the time you’d done it, he’d rounded the bed and tucked his head under the duvet on the other side.
“Come on now love, don’t be like this! You’re no fun when you’re sleepy.” Kol teased before raising his eyebrows and adding. “I suppose it’s best you got Elijah helping you sleep last night, when Klaus helps you sleep… it’s a pain.” He smiled and rubbed his chest, wincing. You tried not to laugh knowing he was joking about the daggers. When he got a snicker out of you he beamed with delight.
“Kol! Brother are you pestering (Y/N)?” Elijah called from somewhere. Fake panic took over Kol’s face as he froze and leant up. Tugging the duvet up with him, letting a fresh breeze brush at your skin.
“How could you say such a thing brother! I do not pester… I seduce and intrigue, some think I’m a delight!” As he spoke he playfully wiggled his eyebrows and smirked. His eyes lit up as he heard the bubble of laughter you’d been holding onto escaped, bursting past your lips in peels of laughter that had you tearfully rolling in your bed in a fit of giggles.
“Yes! I did it!” Kol cheered, throwing his hands up victoriously. He cheered to himself, your duvet helplessly flopped across the room, making a last ditch attempt to cling to you as it defeatedly slipped to the floor.
“You didn't do anything!” You said through giggles the laughter ebbing away.
“Hey if you didn’t get out from under that blanket they were going to send in Rebekah.
“She would have just joined me and said it was a girl thing.” You pointed out knowingly. Kol gave you an agreeing nod as he sat on the edge of the bed.
“So what now, you’re free of that.” He said cast a gesture to your piled duvet on the floor. “Elijah is making enough food to kill a man. Honestly there isn’t any space in the kitchen. Klaus has been painting pictures for you since yesterday and Rebekah was gathering supplies so you two could take to the bed in an appropriately aesthetic manner.” He mimicked Rebekah’s voice for the last few words and you giggled again.
“Food sounds nice. I should probably shower though.” You said as you sighed.
He hopped up and your eyes widened when he started to undress. “Right let's get in the shower.” He said until he caught your eyes. He flashed you a smile and paused.
“I need a shower… not you!” You said quickly, finally sitting up and trying to tame your hair a little. “I might need a shower! You don’t know where I’ve been!”
“I suppose that’s true.” You mused. He watched your brow furrow as if you were mulling over where he could have been that day. Your attention was snatched back when you moved in a blur. You were whizzed past Elijah who dropped his plate he’d brought up for you. Though you were sure Kol had knocked it out of his hand on purpose.
“Brother!” He snapped sharply.
“Brother?” Kol answered in a tone that would definitely rile Elijah. Kol focused on fixing the water in the shower which made Elijah rap on the door several times.
He gestured for you to get into the water but you frowned at him. “Aren’t you going to leave?” You asked and he shrugged.
“If you’d like. I thought I’d help you wash your hair.” He paused and rolled his eyes. “It was something that was done as… a show of affection. Elijah’s still right there and I’ll keep my underwear on!” He gestured to his boxers and then to the door. “Elijah?”
“Yes Kol.” Elijah said in an unamused tone. You tried to hold back another laugh at the sound of his voice.
“See, a perfectly friendly shower.” Kol said giving you his best innocent look that gave a more dubious expression.
“What’ll I wear?” you pointed out and he shrugged.
“I won’t look at you if you like. But I’m a thousand or so. I’ve seen a lot.” he said as he stuck his hand under the running water, satisfied it was a good enough temperature he stepped in.
“You’ve seen a lot or you’ve seen a lot of naked people?” You asked curiously as you decided to undress. It would be nice to have someone do your hair for a change.
“Both?” Kol said as he, to his word, closed his eyes until you’d gotten in. “Women did find me rather irresistible back in the day.” He said as he brushed his fingers through your hair until it was damp enough to add the shampoo.
“Back in the day?”
“Well, I got a bit out of swing when I spent a few hundred years in a box, not much room for seduction in a coffin.”
He chuckled when you spluttered out a laugh as if his comment had caught you off guard. Kol’s fingers were soft and gentle. More gentle than you’d thought a vampire capable of. If you weren’t quite so intimidated by his near nudity you would have been lulled into relaxation, so much so that you could have leant against him and closed your eyes.
The shampoo smelled different and glancing at the bottle Kol had set on the shower shelf you realised it was a brand new bottle, an expensive looking brand that you hadn’t heard off before. You assumed it would have either been from Elijah or sent over by Rebekah.
For a while there was silence as Kol massaged the suds into your roots and rinsed it out, continuing to massage your scalp and neck. “You know. Affection really is wasted on modern humans.” Kol said thoughtfully as he reached for a second bottle. “The fun that could be had if you all let go just a little.”
“If every human let go we’d all be like Elena. Vampire lovers on rotation.” You said quietly. His hands stilled for a moment as he raised his eyebrows. When you glanced over your shoulder at him he chuckled.
“Careful darling. Glass houses and all that.” He said playfully as he rinsed the final suds out of your hair. “You could have four Mikaelson if you asked nicely.”
He grinned when you elbowed him gently and spluttered a little. With the gentlest brush of a kiss to your shoulder he got out of the shower, leaving to finish your shower as he deliberately dripped as much water on the floor as he could. He cracked the door open and snatched the towels that Elijah was holding out for him. He could see Klaus lurking behind Elijah and grinned. He didn’t envy Elijah for having to deal with Klaus’ grumpy mood.
“Come on then darling, you must be starved.” Kol hummed out as he unfolded teh warm, fluffy towel. It was definitely one from the Mikaelson's home. It was massive enough for you to step into it and have it wrapped around you at least twice.
When Elijah saw the state of the bathroom he sighed and glared at a gleeful Kol who bowed mockingly. Klaus bickered with Kol as you were escorted to your bedroom which had been tidied and your bed made with fresh sheets. Rebekah was sprawled over them with a pile of new pajamas beside her. “Off you go now!” She insisted once Kol was near the doorway. Both he and Klaus found the door slammed in their faces as she took a turn at fussing you. She fixed your hair and produced so many creams and powders and moisturisers your small desk was almost completely covered in little bottles. Once she was satisfied she’d fussed you enough you were relinquished into Elijah’s care to be escorted to your kitchen. You noticed everywhere was a lot cleaner and suddenly all the odd jobs that needed doing were done.
“You didn’t all have to make a fuss.” You said quietly to Elijah who smiled.
“Nonsense.” He muttered back with an endeared affection.
Kol hadn’t been kidding about the amount of food in your kitchen. Even if you invited the gang round there would be too much for you all to eat. You gave Elijah a grateful smile as he pulled out your chair and helped you sit. He must have been worried to cook so much. You hadn’t meant to worry them. You’d just felt so exhausted by everything going on in Mystic falls.
As you sat you noticed sweet paintings of plants and flowers adorned your kitchen walls. Klaus’ touch there was no doubt and you smiled as you looked at them. “Rebekah said renovating the kitchen was a bit much. So I settled for decorating.” Klaus said as he took a seat beside you. He admired the way you appreciated his work.
“Thank you. All of you. I feel much better.” you said with a smile. The stress of the chaos going on had ebbed enough for you to feel energized again. The Mikaelsons had gathered in the kitchen and all smiled as you beamed for them.
“Well, I have to apologise. If I had known looking at my beautiful face would be the thing to get you out of bed after a few days. I would have arrived earlier.” Kol said. You shared a daring look together as Rebekah groaned and helped herself to some food. Elijah rolled his eyes and tutted while Klaus growled quietly from beside you. Trying to hide a laugh you opted to stuff your mouth full with the food that had been carefully set before you.

Bonnie Bennett believed she'd finally discovered her good enough ending. Yet, like most things in her life good enough goes left and leaves her with another ending. Or, perhaps a fire beginning...Journey with everyone's favorite Bennett Witch to the Viking Era for much needed lessons in devotion, courtesy the Lothbrok brothers.
Disclaimer: Unfortunately, none of these characters belong to me. And to add unfairness to poetic injustice, neither does the shows or the books. However, I still intend to pull the characters' strings and make them dance, all while having a ball upsetting canon plot lines!
AN: Alright Bennett Fandom this one here is a bit different from what you're used to. Okay this one here is a bit different than I'm used to. Francesca has recently rediscovered Vikings and with it the sons of Ragnar. And don't you know she wouldn't rest until she brought our favorite Bennett Witch into their mess! As if our girl didn't already have her own problems. SMFH! So thanks to my lovely muse, here we are with a whole lot of trifling savagery that I'm just not so sure about. But as always I'll let you be the judge if this WIP lives to see another update. Flame it or acclaim it in comments.
“You know as much as I’ve savored the joy of tormenting you over the years-,” Klaus began.
“No,” Bonnie shook her head. She’d tried to go along with his final request. Really she did, but how could she? When in the end all he’d be was gone. “I’m sorry, bae. We’re not doing this.”
Rebekah’s eyes rolled. She released a drawn out exhale that hadn’t been necessary for her since wood ash and pointed stick tattoos were a thing. “Bonnie, don’t ruin this for him! Permit him whatever comfort he demands. He shoulders a burden you’d never be able to fathom. Can you not allow him to experience but one moment of grace? A moment Hope will undoubtedly cling to after he’s gone.”
“No, Rebekah! I’m not about to listen as the man I love gives us all a corny goodbye and pretend to be okay with it. And why the hell should Hope have a moment to cling to when she could have her father?” She gave her head another firm shake. “No, this is not okay with me,” her voice rose as she drilled visual holes through each of them. Klaus tried to shut her down with an arm around the shoulders but she curved him with a shrug, all while committing ocular homicide on him in the process. “So why the hell is it okay with you, Hybrid?” Her scorn riddled gaze darted from him back to his so called family. “Or any of you?”
“You must’ve been down on Bourbon sipping on that Absinthe again if you believe any of this shit is okay with us,” Marcel waved her off barely sparing her a glance. “We all just know Klaus is gonna do whatever Klaus wants no matter how any of us feels about it. The most dangerous place you can be when his mind’s made up is in his way. So I suggest you step out of it.”
Her neck snapped back as if she’d taken a two piece to the chin. “You think I’m afraid of the big bad wolf? I wasn’t at seventeen and if I thought for a second it would save him, I’d put his ass back in the dirt again. I take care of my own, Marcel. No matter the dangers or consequences,” she jabbed a thumb at her hybrid, “And make no mistake, that Original pain in the ass over there is mine.”
“Cute.” Marcel laughed as he rubbed at the corners of his mouth. “Bonnie, we’re his family. Each of us have known, feared, hated, respected, and loved him long before even your parents’ parents became an idea. Hell, even after everything he’s dragged me through, there’s not a drop of blood I wouldn’t bleed for him.”
“Then stand behind those words and do something, Marcel,” she pleaded, because at this point she wasn’t above begging for the only bright spot remaining in the dim bleakness that had become her life seven years before.
“What would you have us do, Bonnie?” Elijah questioned in a barely engaged tone.
Bonnie turned to consider him. A perpetual moroseness now cloaked the one she’d once believed to be noble. His arrogance hadn’t been quite the same since the restoration of his memories. More and more he’d begun to remind her of Finn. She squared her shoulders and straightened her spine. Since discovering what Klaus planned to do, she’d toyed with an idea she’d vowed never to indulge. Yet, under the weight of impossible desperation such vows could not stand.
“The eternal witch spell should be evoked,” she said.
“By whom?” Kol questioned. His chocolate browns moved from Freya to Hope. When both appeared to know less than him his disbelieving gawk returned to her. “You?!” Laughter burst from his mouth. “Oh Darling, I’ve witnessed that spell make a supernatural mess of the most talented witches to ever recite a chant. There’s only one destined to master the eternal witch incantation and her sorcery is said to be unmatched.” His knowing gaze drifted to Hope, and then back to her. “There’s no way you’re powerful enough to undertake the task. You’re not even the strongest witch on this block.”
Bonnie flinched. Damn it, if Kol hadn’t DOA’ed her pride. When the hell did he jump on the Bennett hate train? To hear how far his opinion of her plummeted sort of burned.
She nodded. “Okay, if not me why not Davina. You tend to enjoy blowing her horn. If she’s all you claim her to be, get her here. I’ll happily bow down if her being greater than me will save him.” She jerked her head in Klaus’ direction.
“No!” Marcel barked.
“Leave my wife out of this.” Kol zipped across the distance separating them to tower over her. His original face no longer concealed by his human deception.
Klaus rocketed forward to place himself between she and Kol. “Step away from my fiancé, baby brother. For if you harm her then you’ll be joining me in the afterlife. To hell with your bloody dagger and box.”
Ignoring Kol’s and Klaus’ dagger and the box bit, her distressed stare collided with Freya’s. “What about you? Will you help me save your brother?”
“Bonnie, that spell is much too dangerous. Even for me.” The blondes eyes offered her a thousand apologies but not one solution. “I’m sorry, but I can’t risk it…not now.”
Her desperation bottomed out to despair as her gaze took a hail Mary launch to the supposedly most powerful witch in the room. “Hope?”
The room erupted. You’d think she’d offered the girl a crack pipe. When she was Hope’s age she was taking down well…her dad.
“Bonnie!” Elijah yelled.
“This is madness,” Rebekah growled, taking a step in their direction. “Nik tell her!”
“We’ve already talked about this, Bekah.” Marcel shook his head and tugged Rebekah back to his side. “That doesn’t concern us.” Bonnie heard Marcel mutter.
Klaus spun away from Kol to regard her. He grabbed her face and cradled her cheeks in his palms. “Everything’s going to be alright, Love.” He whispered, before brushing his lips against hers. Liquid pain disturbed the stillness of his crystal blue stare and contradicted the hell out of his reassurance.
“How?” She tugged herself free of his grasp. “How’s everything going to be alright? You’ll be dead and then what? Life goes on? Fuck that! I’m not about to stand here and mourn a defeat I haven’t loss yet!” She whirled away and marched from the gathering. Her decision made.
Once out of sight, she hurried towards their bedroom. Inside, she closed the door and locked it. The barrier wouldn’t hold her hybrid, but the fraction of time it would provide may be all she needed to complete the spell. She fell to her knees next to the mattress. Carefully, she tugged the blanket from underneath the bed. The already prepared altar and ingredients slid out. She stared down at the athamae and exhaled. Second thoughts plagued her mental, but she shook them away. She’d come this far already. The time to bitch up and forget about it had come and gone. Now was the time to do and die, literally.
She picked up the dagger and called forth every ounce of mystical energy which bled through her veins. A swell of Bennett sorcery overwhelmed the room. Pictures rattled on the walls. The balcony doors blew open and the glass shattered. Furniture not nailed down whipped about the room like she’d caught a ride in a tornado. Steeling her nerves, she continued. She called forth her psychic energy, her huntress energy. Any and everything supernatural about her she offered to the Goddess of all in exchange for an eternity of knowledge and the fated eternal mate destined to help her defeat the Hollow.
After relinquishing her all to the Creator she sliced open her palm. Blood gushed from the wound and saturated the ingredients. A searing light illuminated the room. The bargain was struck and accepted. Now the sacrifice. She swallowed and raised the blade. Aiming it at the center of her chest, she closed her eyes.
“Bonnie, no!” Klaus’ voice penetrated the white noise blaring throughout the room. “Love, don’t do this. You won’t survive.”
She opened her eyes. He stood just beyond the enchantment circle, attempting to force his way into the barrier. “Neither will you if I don’t. Besides, if it doesn’t work I’d rather be in the ground anyway than breathe without you, Klaus.”
“Bonnie, please,” he pled as he dropped to his knees. He slammed his fist against the barrier. “Please, don’t do this. We’ll find another way. You have my word, Love!”
A sad smile flirted with her lips. “You’re lying, Klaus. If there was another way then it would already be the plan.” She plunged the blade into the cradle of her breasts. A piercing burn penetrated her chest.
“No!” Klaus’ bellow seared layers from her punctured heart. The storm of mystical energy whipping about ceased.
Her knees buckled. Klaus caught her before the ground could and cuddled her close. She attempted to talk, but a wheeze whistled pass her lips instead.
“No, Love, don’t speak.” He bit into his wrist and placed the bleeding extremity to her mouth. His blood might as well had been battery acid because she’d bet dollars to air it burned the same. Hacking coughs damn near shook her frame apart by the joints. “Why the sodding hell isn’t this working?”
“I-It’s the s-spell,” she managed to utter. “M-my death is the p-price of a-admission.”
Tears trickled from his eyes onto her face. “Why did I have to go and love you, Little Witch?” He demanded, looking beyond confused.
“B-Because its what we b-both needed at the time and no m-matter how this turns out I’ll always be indebted to you for giving me a reason. L-Love you, Hybrid…always and f-forever.” His face faded until nothing but darkness surrounded her.
Chapter 1
Disclaimer: Unfortunately, none of these characters belong to me. And to add unfairness to poetic injustice, neither does the shows or the books. However, I still intend to pull the characters' strings and make them dance, all while having a ball upsetting canon plot lines!
The abyss gave way to blinding lights. Bonnie squeezed her eyes shut. A cacophony of sounds battered her auditory senses. The eardrum rupturing racket nearly distracted her from the violent rocking motion. A violent rocking motion which would no doubt wrought absolute fuckery on her cyclic vomiting syndrome. Right along with the tang of salt-water, unwashed bodies, and rotten fish. The potpourri of funk came close to singeing the lining of her nostrils.
A familiar acrid burn tickled the back of her throat. On cue her belly spun a series of gold medal winning somersaults. Oh this was going to happen. Her lack of sight heightened her senses and made her that much more sensitive to all the upchuck factors swirling about her. Unable to continue to live in the darkest part of her denial and remain vomit free, she opened her eyes. The brightest day she'd ever had to tolerate greeted her light discriminating gaze. She closed her eyes once more. What in the extreme fuck? Was this some kind of hell dimension? Is that why she was only a five minute drive away from the damn sun? Oh Goddess no!
"Cade?!" She growled.
The acrid burn that flirted with the back of her throat developed a sour chunky consistency. Once again she forced her eyes open...and blinked. She was on a vessel that appeared to have hailed straight out of Vikings. Damning the unnecessary brightness and her afterlife in general, she turned and tossed up the entire contents of her stomach over the boats edge. The seafood gumbo from Rousseau's she loved nearly as much as Klaus shot from her mouth and floated one way while the wind and Hades' cruiser sailed her in another.
As gravity took her down exhaustion fucked her over. She rested her cheek on the boat's wooden ledge. Drops of putrid salt water splashed her face. Yet, her fucks to give was at a negative zero low. Not only was she dead, but more than likely so was Klaus. She'd failed him...she'd failed them. Not even eternity would be long enough to make that shit okay.
Bonnie's vision blurred. Her chest throbbed. She clawed at the pounding ache between her breasts. Goddess, it's a wonder her chest didn't have a gaping hole in it after everything her heart had lost. Shaking her latest failure from her thoughts, she turned to slouch back to the boat's floor. She then lifted her gaze to assess her surroundings. Various shades of irises gawked back at her. She froze. Oh damn! Just her luck the water was sacred. She opened her mouth to offer an apology, but snapped it closed. Wait...why the hell did everyone look like extras from the Last Kingdom?
Slowly, her gaze dropped from the filthy hairy men towering over her to what she wore. The burlap sack dress she donned stopped her ever ticking clock. And based on the breeze cooling her cakes, her La Perla's had opted to skip the journey to the other side. Her back teeth clenched. In what kind of after life had she been dropped? Was this some kind of Viking hell? Had she somehow been granted eternity with Klaus in his hereafter?
The shifting of bodies snaked her attention from Kanye's spring wear to the now parting beefy men. A sight which had her questioning her sanity emerged. Bjorn Lothbrok or at any rate the actor who portrayed him in Vikings. Was he dead and stuck on the Otherside also? Wait, was Alexander Ludwig even supernatural?
"You're not one of the slaves who was captured during the raid. One of your hue, I would've remembered." The head Viking in charge edge that resonated in Bjorn's or Alexander's voice snatched her from her contemplations. "How've you come to be upon this ship?" When she opened her mouth to speak the cold sharpened point of a sword pierced the hollow of her throat. "Speak to me of canards or sagas and I shall open your gullet."
She hesitated for a moment. What could she say? The truth would definitely get her neck split wide. "I-I'm not sure. Before...when I closed my eyes, I was somewhere else and now that I've opened them, I'm..." she glanced from the horror frozen faces of the crewmen to the beyond frightened slaves. The poor shackled souls huddled away from her in the ship crevices and corners on either side of her. She swallowed and allowed her gaze to return to Bjorn. "I'm here."
"Oh my god," she heard one of the slaves mutter in a tone that, to her surprise, sounded annoyed?
His scoff sliced the disbelief inspired silence in half. He withdrew the biting tip of his sword from her throat and sheathed it in the scabbard at his side. "Bind her hands to her feet and toss her over."
The ship erupted in a flurry of movement. Two overfed red-haired and even redder faced Viking men moved to grab her. She nearly projectile vomited her heart from her mouth.
"I know what I'm saying sounds apeshit, but I swear on everything I love, Alexander," she said slowly uttering the name and searching his face for a flare of recognition. When nothing sparked in his expression she stammered on, "I-I'm telling the truth. Please, you have to believe me, Bjorn!" A flicker of curiosity narrowed his glare. Bingo! "You can't let them kill me! Please, I don't wanna die again!"
"Halt!" He bellowed, raising a hand to stop the men from advancing, "How've you come to know of my name?"
Shit! She pressed her lips together as her mind flipped through a too short list of plausible explanations that wouldn't get her burned at a stake for witchcraft. "I-I've dreamt of you a-and of this moment." There, that didn't sound too bad. One thing she'd learned from Klaus, watching Vikings, and Google, is ancient Northman actually revered oracles and seers.
"You've dreamt of me?" He knelt before her, arresting her stare with a penetratingly incandescent blue gaze. At a deliberate methodical pace, his eyes crept over her face. Her lungs threatened to collapse under the thorough scrutiny. "Of this moment?" Unable to look anywhere other than in the irises that burned brighter than the now blazing sun, her head bobbed. A smile enticed the corners of his mouth. "Then why fear what you know will follow? Have you not prepared well to meet your fate?"
"Not if my fate resides at the bottom of the ocean," she said with a firm shake of the head, "That's an introduction I'd like to cur—avoid indefinitely."
His head tilted just so as he continued to regard her. "Name yourself."
"Bonnie Bennett," she answered.
A golden brow lifted. "Bonnie Bennett of where?"
"New-M-Mystic Falls...Bonnie Bennett of Mystic Falls."
"I have never heard of a land with such a name," he huddled a bit closer to her, "in which direction does your homeland lie?"
Before she could answer, thick gun metal gray clouds rolled across the azure sky and swallowed the glaring sun. A sonic boom exploded somewhere in the distance, while blue streaks of lightening zigzagged its way through the stodgy swirls of gloom. And if the situation wasn't already atom splitting serious, fat drops of rain and hail the size of golf balls began to pelt them.
"This storm is unnatural!" A seaman yelled.
"What in the name of Odin will become of us? None of us shall discover the gates of Valhalla at the bottom of the sea!" A ruddy face old man with a scraggly beard roared at anyone who appeared to be listening.
Another much younger seaman, maybe a little older than herself, turned an anxious stare on Bjorn. "Do you believe the All Father has forsaken us, Ironside?"
Bjorn opened his mouth to answer but was cut off by a blonde slave girl who pointed a finger in her direction, "It's her! Her very presence displeases the gods. You should heave her over and pray the sacrifice appeases them."
"You sound dumb as hell! It's no wonder you're in chains," Bonnie snapped, regretting her words as soon as they left her lips. Stupidity had nothing to do with forced captivity. Yet, that bitch had some damn nerve.
"No one will be heaving anyone over," Bjorn said, while standing from his crouch, "Raise the sails and provide the slaves with pails so they may began dumping water from the ship's floor."
A surge of magic thickened the air. The foreign sorcery incited something within her. Something unfamiliar. A bucket was pushed in her face. She took the wooden pail without looking away from the sea. The very stench of alien witchery agitated her own strange mystical energy. The fiery heat of her somehow altered super charged power practically scorched the inner lining of her veins as it raced through her vessels. Who would dare interrupt the supernatural and natural balance on this scale without justification? It was like using a heat seeking missile to take out a mosquito. Un-fucking-called for!
Instead of allowing the now aggressive powers within her the retribution it sought, she settled just to keep the occupants on the ship safe. So, while she dumped water from the boat's floor, she chanted under her breath. Soon, a protective shield formed around them in an elusive form of the previous sunny day. The Vikings and slaves alike erupted in praises to Odin.
"Yep," Bonnie forced a smile. "Praise Odin!"
"Come, Mystical One," Bjorn stood over her, his shadow casting her much needed shade.
Distrust and her impromptu guest starring role on a show which highlighted the fact that Vikings had no problems raping captives, raised her guards. Though realms out of her element, she was far from ignorant.
Her gaze moved over him in an attempt to size him up. "Where?"
"To the prow," He gestured towards the front of the ship before snatching the pail from her hands, and then tossing it aside. "I wish to learn more about you and this numinous land named Mystic Falls." When she took too long to follow he locked his hands behind his back and considered her. "If I wanted to lie with you then all I need do is have you. Do you believe anyone here would be minded to protect you?"
She lifted her chin as she glanced about the ship to see not one person watching them for concern purposes. Every eye she caught on them looked to be pre-historic Shade Room and TMZ reporters. If they had tea kettles back then they'd no doubt be ready to spill the damn things. No, Bjorn spoke the truth. No one on that confoundingly long boat would lift a calloused palm to help her.
"Alright." Exhaling, she stood and leveled him with a glare even a PMS'ing demon would be incapable of exacting. "But fair warning, no one on this ship can protect me better than me. And make no mistake, I'm not above defending my own honor."
He reached out and took her hand in his. "That is a certainty about you of which I'll never be mistaken, Bonnie Bennett of Mystic Falls."

I have a hard time focusing on one project. I usually jump from project to project without completing anything. Right now I'm working on three stories at once and limiting myself to just those 3 and it's working better but I wish I could focus better
Focusing on One Project
I used to be guilty of this myself, and at the time, I thought I had a great idea to keep me focused on each project equally. I assigned each project a day of the week, and I would only work on that project on that day. Then, I’d have a “free day” where I could work on whatever I wanted. If this sounds appealing to you, give it a try! It unfortunately didn’t work for me  :-\
But I’m pretty sure the reason it didn’t work was because I wasn’t equally invested in each project, which meant that equal time each week wasn’t proportionate to my writing interests. One week I might be really into Project A, and the next week I didn’t even want to look at it. I discovered that while I bounced around a lot, it wasn’t because I was super excited about all three. It was because I lost steam with one, and rather than spinning my wheels, I’d use my time to work on something else. It’s not a terrible strategy, but it doesn’t really solve the problem of finding focus.
Before I give you suggestions on how to work on only one project, let me preface it by saying that there’s nothing wrong with working on three at a time. You write the way that creates the most enjoyment for you. If you enjoy each of these projects, then work on all three! There’s no rule saying you can’t write three stories at once. You also might find that as you’re writing, one story will eventually emerge as your favorite, and you’ll neglect the other two while your muse is busy working. Let it happen organically. As long as you’re writing, you’re moving forward. Let yourself be surprised by which direction you end up going.
If, however, you really, really want to focus on one, then read on.
Start training yourself bit by bit.
Try the strategy I mentioned at the beginning of the post. Assign each project a day of the week, or two days if you feel up to the task. You might even use one day to outline what you plan to write, and then write it on the second day. Break up your week however it works best in your schedule, but try to keep time spent on your projects divided up evenly.
Try this for about a month, and then extend the period you’re working on each. Assign each project a whole week during the month, and on that project’s assigned week, you can only work on that project. And work includes both planning, outlining, writing, and editing. If you do happen to get a random idea for Project C during Project A’s week, definitely jot it down. It’ll give you a jumping off point when Project C’s week arrives.
Again, try this for a while, maybe 2 or 3 months. And then challenge yourself to only work on one project for one whole month. This whole process of training your brain to focus could take up to a year, but most likely during that year, you’ll wind up choosing one project that really ignites your interest, and this whole schedule will go out the window as you focus intensely on that one project.
If you find yourself dropping projects and adding new ones during this process, that’s totally fine. But if you do add new projects, make sure you’re replacing one. Try to keep yourself to only three.
Anytime we want to train ourselves to do something, we start by doing it in baby steps. Start by focusing on one project for a couple a days, then a week, then a month.
Turn three projects into one.
If you’ve got three projects that are all holding your attention, then you could attempt a story smash. Take all three and try to combine them into one story. Depending on how different the three are, this could be a huge challenge, but potentially worth your time.
Take one of your characters and have them step into a scene of one of your other stories. Don’t forget where the character is coming from; bring their experiences and their background into the story they’re visiting. If things seem awkward, send them home. Keep trying this until one of your characters seems at home, and then see if you can bridge the two stories together.
If one of your stories currently lacks a climax, then take one of the climaxes from one of the other projects and have them share. By making the climax of Project A the same climax as Project B, it becomes a new challenge to drive Project A towards this unexpected conclusion. You might have to borrow plot points and even characters from Project B.
If you’re writing vastly different projects, like a realistic novel and a fantasy story, you can still smash these together. Have one of the characters of your realistic novel discover the fantasy world. What happens when they cross into it?
Figure out what’s stopping you.
Keep a journal and record which project you’re working on during each session. Whenever you switch to another project, explain why in your journal. If you’re in a particular mood, describe it. If you’re stuck on your plot, write what concerns you have. If a character is annoying you, tell them how they could stop annoying you (yes, tell them, as in, address the journal entry to your character).
What you’re basically doing is putting an obstacle between switching projects, making it more difficult to do so. You’re also identifying the reasons why you don’t want to work on the other project, and in describing the problem, you might end up forcing your brain to devise solutions.
You also might find that it’s not so much problems on Project A that are making you want to switch, but rather excitement in Project B. If that’s the case, explain what characters or scenes you’re anxious to work on in Project B, or you’re simply “in the mood,” see if you can identify why. What happened during your day that might have triggered it?
Regardless of what happens, write what you want to write. Your ideas might seem unfocused now, but if you keep at it, I think you’ll eventually find the ideas and characters you’re truly passionate about. You just need some time to experiment in different sandboxes for a while.

Klelijah body jumping fic!!
Set in some??? season of TO, presumably around s3 because Freya is there, Klaus gets bored. And decides he will try his old trick of body jumping and mess with Elijah, who keeps guessing it’s him almost instantly. Klaus takes this as a challenge. Elijah sees through Fred the old neighbour complaining about screaming keeping him up in the middle of the night and Chad the drunk frat boy who had stumbled into the courtyard. He even realises surprisingly quickly that Angela, the friendly and mildly flirty lady with an interest in Elijah is actually Klaus.
And then, when Klaus tries his latest disguise, the family butler, Elijah doesn’t recognise him?? This definitely throws Klaus but he’ll just have to... keep up the pretence? surely Elijah will catch on soon? Elijah...?
Elijah, meanwhile, is curious how long Klaus will keep this up before he grows tired of it. Rebekah thinks the whole situation is hilarious and adds some extra layer of chaos.
A snippet:
"Where's Niklaus?" Rebekah asked. "Upstairs in the study," Elijah replied, with a quick glance at his sister to assure himself it wasn't some sort of emergency. "He's up to his usual tricks and possessed James's body. I sent him to sort the accounting papers in chronological order." Rebekah frowned. "Who's James?" "The butler," Elijah said, sending her a mildly reproving look. "It seemed appropriate." "You'd never let the help near the accounting papers," Rebekah said, amused. "You don't even let me most of the time." "That's because you like buying things on impulse and we really do not need another mansion in Tuscany," Elijah replied. "It probably wouldn't hurt either." Rebekah shrugged. "Tuscany is lovely in Summer." "It might rather hurt my investments,"  Elijah said dryly. "Given that that's where the money would be coming from. Most of our wealth is already tied up in properties and assets, something both you and Niklaus seem to forget quite often." Rebekah rolled her eyes. "Perhaps once Niklaus is forced to read through the papers he'll develop a better overview of our family's finances," Elijah mused with a wistful air. Rebekah just snorted. “Probably not,” Elijah conceded. "You don't think he'll notice you're on to him when you let him near your sacred papers?" "I'm rather counting on Niklaus not knowing about my reluctance to let others touch the papers," Elijah said. There was a slight smile on his face. "And if he finds out and decides to set them on fire?" Rebekah asked, lifting her brows. Elijah waved his hand, dismissing her worry. "I've received digital copies for all the recent files. Should such an event occur they can always be replaced."

Psalm 80
Psalm 80
Prayer for Israel’s Restoration
To the leader: on Lilies, a Covenant. Of Asaph. A Psalm.
1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock! You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth 2 before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh. Stir up your might, and come to save us!
3 Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved.
4 O Lord God of hosts, how long will you be angry with your people’s prayers? 5 You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in full measure. 6 You make us the scorn[a] of our neighbors; our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 Restore us, O God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved.
8 You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it. 9 You cleared the ground for it; it took deep root and filled the land. 10 The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches; 11 it sent out its branches to the sea, and its shoots to the River. 12 Why then have you broken down its walls, so that all who pass along the way pluck its fruit? 13 The boar from the forest ravages it, and all that move in the field feed on it.
14 Turn again, O God of hosts; look down from heaven, and see; have regard for this vine, 15 the stock that your right hand planted.[b] 16 They have burned it with fire, they have cut it down;[c] may they perish at the rebuke of your countenance. 17 But let your hand be upon the one at your right hand, the one whom you made strong for yourself. 18 Then we will never turn back from you; give us life, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved.

Psalm 77
Psalm 77
God’s Mighty Deeds Recalled
To the leader: according to Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A Psalm.
1 I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, that he may hear me. 2 In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted. 3 I think of God, and I moan; I meditate, and my spirit faints.Selah
4 You keep my eyelids from closing; I am so troubled that I cannot speak. 5 I consider the days of old, and remember the years of long ago. 6 I commune[a] with my heart in the night; I meditate and search my spirit:[b] 7 “Will the Lord spurn forever, and never again be favorable? 8 Has his steadfast love ceased forever? Are his promises at an end for all time? 9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he in anger shut up his compassion?”Selah 10 And I say, “It is my grief that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”
11 I will call to mind the deeds of the Lord; I will remember your wonders of old. 12 I will meditate on all your work, and muse on your mighty deeds. 13 Your way, O God, is holy. What god is so great as our God? 14 You are the God who works wonders; you have displayed your might among the peoples. 15 With your strong arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.Selah
16 When the waters saw you, O God, when the waters saw you, they were afraid; the very deep trembled. 17 The clouds poured out water; the skies thundered; your arrows flashed on every side. 18 The crash of your thunder was in the whirlwind; your lightnings lit up the world; the earth trembled and shook. 19 Your way was through the sea, your path, through the mighty waters; yet your footprints were unseen. 20 You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Psalm 79
Psalm 79
Plea for Mercy for Jerusalem
A Psalm of Asaph.
1 O God, the nations have come into your inheritance; they have defiled your holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in ruins. 2 They have given the bodies of your servants to the birds of the air for food, the flesh of your faithful to the wild animals of the earth. 3 They have poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there was no one to bury them. 4 We have become a taunt to our neighbors, mocked and derided by those around us.
5 How long, O Lord? Will you be angry forever? Will your jealous wrath burn like fire? 6 Pour out your anger on the nations that do not know you, and on the kingdoms that do not call on your name. 7 For they have devoured Jacob and laid waste his habitation.
8 Do not remember against us the iniquities of our ancestors; let your compassion come speedily to meet us, for we are brought very low. 9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake. 10 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Let the avenging of the outpoured blood of your servants be known among the nations before our eyes.
11 Let the groans of the prisoners come before you; according to your great power preserve those doomed to die. 12 Return sevenfold into the bosom of our neighbors the taunts with which they taunted you, O Lord! 13 Then we your people, the flock of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise.

Genesis 25:19-34
The Birth and Youth of Esau and Jacob
19 These are the descendants of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham was the father of Isaac, 20 and Isaac was forty years old when he married Rebekah, daughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Paddan-aram, sister of Laban the Aramean. 21 Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his prayer, and his wife Rebekah conceived. 22 The children struggled together within her; and she said, “If it is to be this way, why do I live?”[a] So she went to inquire of the Lord. 23 And the Lord said to her,
“Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples born of you shall be divided; the one shall be stronger than the other, the elder shall serve the younger.”
24 When her time to give birth was at hand, there were twins in her womb. 25 The first came out red, all his body like a hairy mantle; so they named him Esau. 26 Afterward his brother came out, with his hand gripping Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob.[b] Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.
27 When the boys grew up, Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field, while Jacob was a quiet man, living in tents. 28 Isaac loved Esau, because he was fond of game; but Rebekah loved Jacob.
Esau Sells His Birthright
29 Once when Jacob was cooking a stew, Esau came in from the field, and he was famished. 30 Esau said to Jacob, “Let me eat some of that red stuff, for I am famished!” (Therefore he was called Edom.[c]) 31 Jacob said, “First sell me your birthright.” 32 Esau said, “I am about to die; of what use is a birthright to me?” 33 Jacob said, “Swear to me first.”[d] So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew, and he ate and drank, and rose and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.

Hebrews 13:1-16
Service Well-Pleasing to God
13 Let mutual love continue. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. 3 Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them; those who are being tortured, as though you yourselves were being tortured.[a] 4 Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage bed be kept undefiled; for God will judge fornicators and adulterers. 5 Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” 6 So we can say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
7 Remember your leaders, those who spoke the word of God to you; consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9 Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings; for it is well for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by regulations about food,[b] which have not benefited those who observe them. 10 We have an altar from which those who officiate in the tent[c] have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also suffered outside the city gate in order to sanctify the people by his own blood. 13 Let us then go to him outside the camp and bear the abuse he endured. 14 For here we have no lasting city, but we are looking for the city that is to come. 15 Through him, then, let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name. 16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

John 7:37-52
Rivers of Living Water
37 On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, 38 and let the one who believes in me drink. As[a] the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer’s heart[b] shall flow rivers of living water.’” 39 Now he said this about the Spirit, which believers in him were to receive; for as yet there was no Spirit,[c] because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Division among the People
40 When they heard these words, some in the crowd said, “This is really the prophet.” 41 Others said, “This is the Messiah.”[d] But some asked, “Surely the Messiah[e] does not come from Galilee, does he? 42 Has not the scripture said that the Messiah[f] is descended from David and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?” 43 So there was a division in the crowd because of him. 44 Some of them wanted to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him.
The Unbelief of Those in Authority
45 Then the temple police went back to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, “Why did you not arrest him?” 46 The police answered, “Never has anyone spoken like this!” 47 Then the Pharisees replied, “Surely you have not been deceived too, have you? 48 Has any one of the authorities or of the Pharisees believed in him? 49 But this crowd, which does not know the law—they are accursed.” 50 Nicodemus, who had gone to Jesus[g] before, and who was one of them, asked, 51 “Our law does not judge people without first giving them a hearing to find out what they are doing, does it?” 52 They replied, “Surely you are not also from Galilee, are you? Search and you will see that no prophet is to arise from Galilee.”

Klaus x Reader
Requested by Anon
Stiles froze as he looked up and saw you. It was a busy party and you hadn’t been sure if you’d be able to come. Deaton found someone last minute to cover for you and Scott. You’d both been delighted and rushed over to the party.
After a few minutes of talking with Lydia and along assurance that you’d dance with Malia and Kira later, after you found Stiles. No one was really sure where he was. Liam, who was having a drink with Theo and Mason, celebrating Theo’s pact with the New Orleans Bayou wolves, gave you a vague direction for your long term boyfriend.
“(Y/N)! Wait!” Stiles gasped as he scrambled to get dressed. The girl he was with was one of the newer deputies. Lydia had been to the station a few times since she’d started and mentioned that they were both acting odd. Malia dismissed her and insisted that Stiles smelled funny. Almost a month. It had almost been a month and you hadn’t put it together. “Wait!”
“What’s going on?” Malia said wearily as you pushed past people and reached the pack, who had gathered around Liam.
“I don’t think I’ll give you that dance.” You tried to joke but she quickly hugged you tight, glaring at a disheveled Stiles and the deputy.
“I can walk you home.” She said angrily. Kira realised quickly what was going on and rushed to join in on the hug. Scott started berating Stiles while stopping him from following you.
“Theo can give you a lift back to yours. He’s leaving in a few hours.” Lydia said with a smile, she had your coat and bag in her hand. When you glanced up at her she was glowering over at Scott and Stiles. If he survived Scott’s brotherly interrogation. He wasn’t going to make it through Lydia’s. “We’ll sort him out, get home and try to sleep. We’ll see you in the morning.”
Theo was waiting in his truck, Malia and Kira both hugged you tightly and asked if you were sure you wanted to go alone. Once Theo started driving it was hard to keep the tears in. “You know you don’t have to stay here.” He muttered and glanced at you.
“What?” You muttered, rubbing your eyes to keep the tears in.
“If you want you could come with me to New Orleans, the nightlife deadly but other than that it’s pretty fun.” He grinned when you laughed.
“I’m not the sort of person to just up and go.” You said thoughtful, noticing it had started to rain. In the mirror you could see Theo’s bags neatly packed, everything he owned and it barely filled the back seat.
“Maybe you should be. It doesn’t take much to leave. You’ve never left Beacon Hills have you? Might be time.” Theo muttered. The rest of the drive was quiet. He gently pulled up outside your apartment. You only had a few weeks left on the leese and the longer you think about it the more giddey you felt about leaving.
“I’ll do it.” You said, heart pounding so hard you could feel the anxiety meixing with excitement. It made you feel a little lightheaded. “Will you help me pack?” You added. Theo chuckled and nodded, pulling up fully in the driveway.
*******************************************************
“You don’t look like someone who would hang around with wolves.” A soft tone of a warm voice said. You looked up from your book to see a charming man leaning on the fence of the cafe you’d been sat at for most of the morning. Theo and Jackson had left you to go and make more headway with the pact between New Orleans and Beacon hills.
“You don’t look like someone who would know about that sort of thing.” You said and smiled when he chuckled.
“You’d be surprised.” He mused.
“I doubt it. Where I’m from, nothing is surprising anymore.” You said as you set your book down and turned to him. “Where are you from? You don’t sound like you're from around here” You asked him and he shrugged.
“Oh, all over.” He said, smiling to himself as he looked over the quarter. “Where are you from?” He asked playfully.
“Beacon Hills, Calli. Home to the very special wolves as Jackson Kenner likes to put it. They’re not particularly special.” You said as you grab you bag and book, leaving money for your drink. “They’re not Original like you Mr Mikaelson.” You said with a light laugh when he was stunned for a moment before laughing at your deviousness.
I think I’m going to like you staying here.” Klaus muttered to himself as he returned to the courtyard where Elijah was watching with amusement.
*****************************************************************
Stiles followed the pack nervously. He hadn’t heard from you for over a year. You’d left with Theo and he had no clue what to do. He made a mistake, he told everyone. It took them a long time to forgive him. For ten months they wouldn’t even tell him where you’d gone. All he knew was Lydia received a call and she took care of everything for you as you weren’t sure when you’d come back.
They were attending your birthday party and each member of the pack had asked if you were really ok with Stiles joining them. You’d told them you were fine and that you’d moved on from Stiles. He was heartbroken for a while. Then angry. He was frustrated when he friends all pointed out it was his own fault. He planned on finding who ever you’d moved on with and… he wasn’t sure what he would do after.
The party was in short lavish, maybe even more than that. Lydia’s jaw dropped when she saw how the whole quarter was decorated for your party. Areas that vibrates with loud music and flashing lights, some areas were more defined, classical, others rustic and more comunal.
“What do you think?” You asked as you spotted Lydia.
“This is insane. I say that as me who would have thrown a crazy party.” Lydia said giddily.
“They had a little trouble deciding what to throw me. Marcel intervene and offered this proposal.” You said and gestured to the happy crowds. You smiled and greeted the pack who were all more than happy to make a fuss. They were staying for a few days and you were delighted to see them.
Until you spotted Stiles at the back. “Hi.” You said curtly.
“It’s great to see you. I missed you.” Stiles said as you nodded awkwardly.
“(Y/N), these would be the Theo’s wolves.” Klaus said as he strode up and hugged you. Grateful for the intervention you smiled.
“I’m not sure they would agree that they belong to Theo.” You joked, seeing Liam had already darted off to be filled in on what New Orleans was like with Theo.
“Well we’ll have to discuss that further. You must be the alpha. Pleasure to meet you.” Klaus said as he held his hand out to Scott. Before you could add anything Rebekah hurried over to show you off somewhere else. Seeing your friends she insisted on bringing Lydia because it had been so long since anyone had seen a banshee.

Psalm 80
