This lil ole' lady on the phone at my 9-5 has me cracking up....

Her: Did you hear about that autistic boy who is still missing?

Me: No ma'am I didn't hear about it.

Her: Well the dad said he (the autistic boy) goes riding his bike around the block by himself. Who lets an autistic boy wh cant talk ride their bike by themselves around the block? These Damn people, what's the matter with them?

Me: Laughs because she's right

Her: Or these people who let old people drive their cars with dementia, why won't they just take their keys?

Me: Laughs again because she's right.

Her: that's not funny.

Me: It's funny because you wonder what is going on in people's minds.

Her: YEAH! they need to do more brain studies, I'm leaving my money to brain studies because they sure as hell need it. Thank you, you just helped me figure out where my money is going!!!

Kara walks down the path to the coffee shop hoping to be able to grab a muffin before the morning rush starts. Unfortunately she had left a bit too late and by the time she got there it was already filled with people.
