Not sure if power scaling factors into your iconic blorbo fixation, but I'm immensely curious due to your unsurpassed knowledge of anything and everything Orm Marius...
Do you think Orm could beat General Zod in a fight? I think I heard before that Atlantean steel is capable of cutting Kryptonian flesh, likely because it's imbibed by magic or something along those lines. That's just what I heard before though, I could be mistaken.
if we’re talking comics, I dunno much about how Zod is doing these days in them but Orm did take on Superman, Batman, and WW while drowning them in a water tornado type thing so I think Orm could probably take Zod if he’s at full power. Orm’s trident is magic too, so that would help him.
I don’t wanna say that Orm would win or anything because it really depends on who’s writing the characters and who the writer wants to win lol. Power scaling is kind of a difficult topic to discuss bc of that but my opinion is that Orm could beat him if the story allowed.
Now for dceu Orm, I think he could beat Zod too if the circumstances allowed him to.
also, if I remember correctly I don’t think Atlantean steel is really such a big thing in the comics as it is in the movies, it’s more of a movie Aquaman lore thing.
I’m not sure if Atlantean steel is made out of magic or what in the dceu. Probably just a regular Atlantean metal so they can hurt each other in battle. I think the metal that’s made out of magic completely though is Poseidon steel which is what Arthur’s trident is made out of, similar to how the Black Trident is made out of dark magic.
dceu Orm would probably need to practice fighting some more on the surface if he were to fight Zod bc of how he had his ass handed to him by Manta who was powered up with the black trident lol. If he fought Zod underwater though it’d be over in 5 seconds bc Zod’s ass would be dead again.
