Hoy estuve buscando cascadas y de las tres visité, Gullfoss fue la que robó mi aliento. El agua en el río Hvítá viaja desde el glaciar Langjökull, antes de caer en cascada 32 metros (105 pies) por las dos etapas de Gullfoss en una exhibición dramática del poder bruto de la naturaleza. Las paredes del cañón a ambos lados de la cascada alcanzan alturas de hasta 70 metros (230 pies), descendiendo al gran cañón Gullfossgjúfur. I was chasing waterfalls today and of the three ones that I visited, Gullfoss was the most spectacular one. The water in Hvítá river travels from the glacier Langjökull, before cascading 32 meters (105 feet) down Gullfoss’ two stages in a dramatic display of nature’s raw power. The canyon walls on both sides of the waterfall reach heights of up to 70 metres (230 feet), descending into the great Gullfossgjúfur canyon. Walked around my final night here in Reykjavík, Iceland. It rained/snowed part of the day and was worried I wouldn’t be able to go out.
