It all started at Conan Halloween Costume, as Takagi thought he gave Conan a fake gun for the costume.

But nope.

Takagi worked for like 2 weeks with a fake gun, and Conan had the real one. With him all the time. He never had time to give it back and Takagi always said he can have it, only as Sato cleaned Takagi's gun she noticed the Error.
