Vande Bharat Express | Vande Bharat: Those who pelt stones will be jailed for 5 years. Gondia Today (New India)

Gondia, Railway is preparing to take strict action against stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express. Railways has now made a strategy for this. Regarding this, special responsibility has now been assigned to the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Those who pelt stones will not be spared now. This step has been taken in view of the safety of passengers in Vande Bharat Express. Now a case will be registered against the stone pelters under section 153 of the Railway Act 1989. There can be a jail term of five years.

Stone pelting at some places on the Vande Bharat Express running between Nagpur and Bilaspur has surprised the railway administration. Now the RPF has made preparations to send those who pelted stones on Vande Bharat to jail for 5 years. A case will be registered against such people under Section 153 of the Railway Act and the CCTV recording installed on the coach of Vande Bharat Express will be made a solid proof.

It is noteworthy that on 11 December 2022, Prime Minister Modi himself flagged off the Vande Bharat Express from Nagpur station. After this, the administration has taken seriously the 6 incidents of stone pelting at different places on the train in one and a half months. Railways claim that adequate arrangements have been made for passenger safety in the train. This is the reason why not a single passenger has been harmed in these incidents so far. There should be no incident of stone pelting in future, so the Railways will now take strict action.

Street portraiture: Street portraits are a great play of hide and seek. On one hand, the photographer must seek or should seek permission, on the other hand asking for permission is an open invitation to posing and the expression of the person changes. So what to do? I personally opt for communication through body language. Talking with my eyes and gesture is more subtle and transparent. Sometimes, words are not our friends. Talking through gestures also generates trust between the photographer and the person being photographed. Well, scientifically speaking, the major part of human communication is through body language. Therefore, it helps build a quick bond with strangers in the street. This bond leads to acknowledgment of each other's existence and the camera in between, yet it doesn't end up in a direct conversation changing the dynamics of the street. This means the photographer remains a fly on the wall but is accepted by the people in the room. In this case, the room is the street. It can be a wonderful situation for the photographer because people who don't want their photo being taken can directly express it, and other silently give consent without showing much interest or changes in expressions. Of course, a photographer must understand their limits and modify this approach according to the circumstances and culture of the place. The demigods and demons kept on churning the ocean, and several precious life forms, materials, and gems kept on emerging like butter from churnedyogurt. Everyone from among the demons and demigods ran to lay hands on these items. Then emerged poison, and everyone ran away. The one who came forward was Shiva, drinking the poison and keeping it in his throat, elevating him to the status of Neelkanth Mahadev (The blue throated supreme deity). The most potent elixir followed, and jumped in all except Shiva, fighting over the pot of elixir. Vishnu had to take form of the most beautiful feminine imaginable, and tricked the demon, took away the pot and roamed all over the sky, distributing elixir to demigods. In all this act, drops of elixir fell on Earth. One of them fell at Har ki Paudi, Haridwar, in Ganga, exactly at the spot that you see in the photo. The story can be argued as mythological, or some might say it is a true story told through poetic symbols.
