I’m assuming this is in regards to CURRENT American policies that you disagree with? I noticed this post specifically mentions the Bible; are we this critical of the Quran, The Tao Te Ching, The Pāli Canon and the faiths associated with them?  If you branch outside the USA and all religions you’re asking entire regimes and governments to step down which will not be done peacefully, in fact the mere pessimistic talk of certain religions in certain parts of the globe will end with you in prison or worse.

What if the majority of your constituency identifies as very religious such as Mississippi and the Carolinas where over 50% identify as highly religious? Do you have a duty to serve that public?

The United States Constitution, Bill Of Rights and the abolishment of slavery all happened due to Christian morals and ethics. The Constitution states that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights. Should the founders have been “removed from their positions”?

It’s amazing that God given unalienable Rights allows for the cancelation of the very morals and ethics that gave it to us. Blanket statements like this are scary and can lead, very quickly, to the criminalization of the first amendment. Aren’t you asking for people to step aside based on religion?

Unto orthodox church, I think alongside Islam they have the most beautiful clothing, they put an emphasis on gorgeous jewels on the clothing and precious crowns and calming incense smokes. It kinda looks so mysterious and pagan, I love it because I love pagan mysticism too. Their architecture is 50 trillions years ahead of protestant architecture, but still not as beautiful as catholic sorry not sorry but nothing in the world will beat catholic in architecture. I loooove that orthodox baptism you get your WHOLE body submerged completely as an adult!!!! it sounds waaaaaaaay cooler than just a tiny sprinkle of holy water on your forehead like in catholic churches, I think orthodox way of baptism is way more intimate and feels more like a reborn than the one the catholic do with the forehead water, catholic do the whole submerged body too but mostly on babies only and most of the time only the head gets submerged so it is not the same. Orthodox is probably the most traditional of all christian churches even more than catholic but not as much as Islam, orthodox religion is the religion that has the most amount of trad wives of the 3 big christian religions. They do not answer to the Pope but they are still not carefree like protestant and they do answer to an authoritative figure in their church. They are the only christian who see the holy spirit different than the other 2 but that is confusing I still do not know a lot about the holy spirit to explain it, but it just works differently for the orthodox church. Unto Catholics now, things I love about them would be the churches. holyfuuuuuuuuuuuck their churches are like truly breathtaking, they are OUT of this world and with reason!!!! they are suppose to represent an intersection in between heaven and earth, the church itself is heaven AND earth at the same time in unison and union, so of course they had to build the most beautiful churches of them all. There is not even a close comparison to the other religions in the architecture topic. Catholic is the perfect religion for masochist tbh, unlike protestants and orthodox, they are centered more about the death and suffering of jesuchrist. This is the only christian religion that has something called Purgatory, it is a place where the dead unpure souls go to purify before being able to enter heaven, it is not quite like hell but an inbetween, this is also why catholics pray for the dead, by praying to the death you shorten the time they have to spend in purgatory cleaning their souls before entering heaven. In protestant is different, purgatory doesn't exist, when you die you immediately go to heaven if you believed and had faith in jesus. In catholic you can be a believer and be the most faithful but since humans are sinful by nature, you cannot enter heaven immediately, you have to clean your soul in purgatory first, you can start doing that in life too and that's why catholics are so like that.... by "like that" I mean they walk the earth with a mind full of guilt, they are constantly thinking about repenting hence why I think they are the most masochists people on earth. I do not like that much, I think the carefree nature of protestants is more healthy, but I myself am somewhat kind of an emotional masochist if you get used to your depression, so despite liking more the protestants and not liking the masochism of catholics, I still understand better the catholic point of view and I kinda of like it too probably even more than protestants, but I still think protestant carefree view is better. Another difference is that catholics view Mary as an immortal Queen and she is as important as jesus, in protestant Mary is not immaculate and she is dead and is not a deity waiting in heaven. I like that calothic put emphasis in reliquaries, I think artifacts are pretty. I like way more catholic music than protestant music, protestant is like modern rock whereas catholic is ancient pipe organ and classical, it puts you more in tune with something old ancient and holy than an electric guitar.
