a coworker of mine gave me quite the compliment yesterday! heres the long context. another of my coworkers tables asked to see me cuz they missed me and theyre regulars so im like omg ok! so i went over to them a bit later and it was just two tables occupied in the section so i said loudly hey yall whats cookin! as i always do. the other table nearby turns around and its MORE REGULARS and so THEY greet me before the ones i even came here for! at least one member of these two families uses a mobility aid so they sit at table tops instead of booths, so thats why they were in that specific section. it was so cute. i went to the back after hugs and some happy holidays and chitchattin and stuff and i was telling the story to some of my other coworkers. i said "i was just surrounded by people that love me! it was like a family gathering! if my family loved me, that is." and then i said "im just joking, of course my family loves me. im cute, fucking hilarious, AND im modest. who couldnt love that?" and i snickered. the conversation strayed from there, but after my conversation partners were pulled away by their responsibilities, one of them said "you really are truly hilarious rose. i also love all the little bits of knowledge you bring to the table." and im like 😭😭😭 stop my heads already big enough as it is

I've been slacking on reviews and watching stuff. Getting hyperfixated on things and staying on them longer than I intended. But, I miss my blerd friends and most of them are hooked on Lovecraft Country at the moment. So, despite not knowing how mentally or emotionally prepared for the content I am, I'm gonna just dive in.

Although its pretty much non sense but i love being by who i am. I love being in a group sharing ones story , making some fun and Chitchattin with funny issues. But after that I always had my time to be alone. Thinking of what's in my Future? Is there who lived professional or something. Everytime i'm alone i'm longing for an explanation. Back to my personality, I am a girl with a personality in which i cannot be with the friend and got angry, in which they said that I am Patience type. But then i still go forward for being who I am. whelp tomorrow marks the end of this semester of school… so most likely not gonna see the person I have a crush on for the next like month and a half. got like a 50-50 chance of actually interacting with her next semester. but if I’m not a complete chickenshit tomorrow, I will have told her how I felt. wrote a little letter expressing that stuff. maybe if I’m lucky it’s mutual.

at the very least maybe we can have a direct conversation about some of the more weird stuff that’s gone on between us.

anyway wish me luck people!

gotta talk bout my crush for a second since it’s been a few weeks since ive said anything to anyone…

i like this person so much & would so like to even have the smallest of chances with her. but i genuinely got no idea how she thinks of me. & it’s kinda a situation where i can’t really be as forward as I would like to be & just ask or say something. like i feel like there’s been somethings that have been said & done outside the realm of just everyday friendly & into more of a gray area, but i don’t know! it’s confusing!

#like the few things I’ve been able to share with a friend they’ve said yea that stuff is kinda weird (not in a bad way)#but like given that this is literally a professor I am currently taking & took last semester #& there’s prob like an age gap in the late teens #this makes things kinda tricky to navigate #like I don’t want to be to forward now & say something & have the rest of the semester go up in flames since Im not even halfway through it #but I also don’t want to just do nothing cause if there is something here I don’t want her to think I don’t like her or something #I’m just kinda watching & waiting & trying to be friendly without being annoying & seeing how the rest of the semester goes #& if I am brave enough maybe at the end I will say something or write a letter or something #but also I’m dense as a brick when it comes to social situations so I’m also not always entirely sure if I’m missing things #or reading stuff that’s just not there or it’s just all friendly #& like don’t get me wrong I wanna be her friend also so bad it’s insane #but I also got a massive crush on her too #like I guess I don’t just want this person to be like some sort of passing temporary thing #anyway I got no idea as usual what the hell is going on #just chitchattin
