Actually going insane over the implications of Jason asking Dick to be the Robin to his Batman in Battle for the Cowl.
Like I initially took it at the purely surface-level of Jason wanting a partner in the general sense. Which made sense, it's a huge responsibility and a lonely one so an assistant/sidekick/partner seems a no-brainer if you can get one.
But then I really thought about it, because Jason is not asking Dick to be his partner in the general sense; he's not even asking Dick to be his Nightwing. He's asking Dick to be his Robin.
And they both know exactly what Jason means: "Be the light to my darkness. Be the smile to my scowl. Be the hope to my fear. "
He's saying "Be 'Robin'; be the embodiment of Love and Justice and Goodness. Be the exceptional person that you have always been. Be the slightly-less exceptional person that I was when I wore your colors. Be the person that I was in the process of becoming and might have been (or might still be), if only Joker hadn't clipped my wings."
He's saying "I am prepared to become vengeance, become the Night. And I will go further than Bruce ever dared to, because it is what is needed. I will be the necessary evil. But you don't have to be. If Batman is Gotham's curse, Robin has always been its blessing. I will be the brutal punishment to our world, and I am asking you to be its incandescent gift."
He's saying, "Be for me, what we were for Him. Be my anchor, my comfort, my hope. Remind me what it's all for, why it's all worth it. And remind yourself as well."
He's saying "Be 'Robin' again--for both of our sakes."

"He has friends, Tommy. I'm right here. I'm his friend... What are you gonna say about that? You think I'm not his friend?" — Punz —
Thought it was only fair that I do c!Punz after doing c!Dream, so here he is, ready to fight anyone who messes with his friend. And yes, just like with c!Dream all of his Minecraft skin elements and colors are apart of the design in one way or another.

consider: shapeshifter Techno who's never been in his more "human" form around Dream.
he accidentally shifts in his sleep one night, and is rudely awakened by Dream shrieking and kicking him out of the bed, asking where the hell his husband is(they aren't married or even dating)
this is a really funny mental image because like.
dream is sleeping in the bed because after the prison, he has terrible nightmares and it's hard for him to be alone. something wakes him up and he freaks out because who the fuck?? what the fuck???
once techno wakes up enough, the only thing he wants to focus on is what dream said. what was that? dream, do you fantasize about us bein' married? it becomes a running joke that he's dream's, well. 'dream husband'. dream wants to murder him.

It’s been a long-held headcanon of mine that the House of Feanor takes their bonds of loyalty, fraternity, and familial piety very, /very/ seriously.
Specifically, I mean that I believe that Feanor impressed upon his sons that they were brothers, real brothers (none of that fake, half-brother charade), which is such a miraculous thing (something their father does not have, we should be grateful), and that they have to take care of each other (because no one else will, see how they are turned against us?)
And that, given that Feanor spent much of the last years of the Trees fighting against what he perceived as his younger brother trying to usurp him, and this was such a great and evil sin that the rumor of it tore apart even Maedhros and Fingon’s friendship (for a time)-
Not a single one of the younger brothers would ever even think of undermining an elder

How do you plan out the comic panels? I've been wanting to get into comic-making myself but my brain cannot even fathom how to set up panels lmao.
Usually I break treat panels more or less like paragraph breaks and break up panels whenever the focus changes; Usually wherever the emotion/tone of the convo changes or a new character/idea is introduced. Other than that I guess the best way to get better at composing/writing comics is to keep making little comics and taking note of which points your eye catch on/ which parts flow well and whatnot

im ngl while it is true that the "c!dream is obsessed with c!tommy and always has been and all of his actions are singularly motivated by said obsession" take is obviously untrue and exile was meant to service some greater ends in c!dream's plans, i think that the fact that c!dream does disproportionately blame c!tommy for shit going wrong in his life and that exile was carried out with more than just a little amount of vindictive pleasure in controlling c!tommy and abusing him is like, going a bit too overlooked lately, lmao
