I’m Admin Izzy, but some of you might know me as @justiceforafterschool. and recently I just got back from a 3 year hiatus from kpop for personal reasons but I’m back now and with admins @choigiraffe and @moonykyu gone as well as @you-aholicmp3 gone as well, I would first off like to apologize for the lack of activity on the blog as it’s only been myself and @yuqi-s running the place, me being the only active admin. That being said, I would just like to let everyone know that we are taking member/admin applications for the blog.

@ameehhhhh​ tagged me in this little k-pop questionnaire thing… thank you as always love! ♥︎ Reading the questions, I already know that this is going to be soooo long. I'm gonna talk a lot, so forgive me please. haha.

1. Who was your first bias and who is your current one?

Well I believe that the first bias honor goes to Seungri of BIGBANG. This was before I knew about biases and things so maybe he really isn't my first, but I remember when I first started listening to BIGBANG he was the one I fawned over. I still do?? He's getting so much more attractive as he gets older?? And also his voice?? and he's the maknae?? T.O.P. is so close a second though, it's become literally even.   Now currently I have a lot of biases but my ub is Lee Jooheon of Monsta X. He was honestly the first one that caught my eye among those seven beautiful guys and no matter how many times Shownu does his absolutely adorable eyesmile, no matter how many rude or floofy Wonho gifsets I see, no matter to what degree Kihyun's vocals kill me, no matter how crucial and adorable Minhyuk's moral support role in the group is, no matter how many funny and cute Hyungwon memes come across my screen, and no matter that Changkyun is only about seven or eight months older than me, I still love that squishy rapper more. His liveliness definitely plays a part in my love for him, and for sure his aggressive rapping style. But also how he can be so absolutely innocent and beautiful and charming. Omg his child aegyo kills me every.single.time. Agh. ♥︎

2. Why did you get into K-pop?

This isn't a cut-and-dry story. I honestly don't remember exactly why I first got into k-pop. It's only been a year, but a busy one, and it feels like an eternity ago. Some things I know for sure, though: my little sister Rhin (@rhainintheattic) played a huge part, and it was all because of YouTube haha. I think, I should start at the fact that I used to be big into EDM and I liked talking about how it was being integrated into pop more and more. I think that this was the reason that Rhin convinced me to watch BIGBANG's Fantastic Baby MV. Cue my belief that it was one of the catchiest things ever (I still think so lol) and listening to it over and over and over. Perhaps out of curiosity, after that I ended up listening to all of BIGBANG's MV's. I was especially fond of Ringa Linga, Strong Baby, Gotta Talk to U, Bang Bang Bang, Turn it Up, and Zutter, among others. Rhin also showed me LIGHTSABER by EXO and I liked it too, not as much as Fantastic Baby but still a lot. After that I listened sporadically, when I got tired of Oliver Heldens or R3HAB or Caravan Palace. I didn't explore much beyond BIGBANG though.

Fast forward to about a month ago. I was at a music educator's conference in Lincoln, Nebraska and all my friends were out at a movie (I, unfortunately, wasn't carrying any cash so I probably couldn't have paid even if I tried.) So I was sitting there in my hotel room, bored, watching random Youtube videos. I was on the Fine Bros. channel and was just watching down their playlists? I looked up some of the M/Vs in Youtubers React to K-pop and thought they were interesting. But what really undid me is that afterwards, my recommended videos popped up this one, ‘Sexiest K-Pop Boy Band Videos’ or something like that. I watched it and compiled a playlist of all of the vids mentioned in it, I think there are 50. 

Monsta X’s Hero really intrigued me. I started listening to the rest of their MVs, and here I am today.

3. If you could join any K-pop group, who would you choose?

Can I say none of them? I'm honestly not talented enough to join one and tbh I just like all the members as they are now. If I had to choose though I'd probably say K.A.R.D. They have wonderful potential and I'd love to be in a co-ed.

4. If all your biases proposed to you, who would you pick?

This one is really hard as I have so many (superficial and non-superficial) reasons why I love my biases, but time and time again I come back to Leo from VIXX. He's just so goddamn attractive and ever since I noticed him, I've felt this odd connection. That sounds terrible I know haha but I think we’re a lot alike.

5. If you could be in a fanfic, what genre would it be?

It'd be like realistic/romantic fiction, maybe like Bodyguard!AU in which I can have a handsome man to protect me?? I'm a hopeless romantic ok??

6. What mythological creature would you be if you had the chance?

A Thunderbird, for sure. I've been obsessed with them for a long time now. I'd be the guardian of my home, the American Great Plains, and when my gigantic wings flap the lightning flickers through the clouds!

7. Supernatural!AU or Mafia!AU? Supernatural!AU all the way!

8. Which K-pop idol would you switch bodies with?

I wouldn't want any k-pop idol to have to live in my body. They'd be frustrated and hating themselves by the end of the first hour. I'd like to be in T.O.P's for a while though, or rather his mind. He seems so intelligent and thoughtful and reserved, I'd like to know what goes on up there in that handsome head of his.

9. If you could have any idol as a pocket-sized companion, who would you pick?

Kyuhyun, from Super Junior of course!! I'd love to have a little Kyu! He could sing whenever he wanted, I wouldn't argue ♥︎ and I would certainly take much better care of him than SM does.

10. What idol would you want as a sibling?

I think Jaeho from HISTORY would be a sweet, cool older brother. At least cool. :)

11. If you were able to say five words to your bias, what would you say?

"Please take care of yourself." To any one of them really, but Jooheon and all of the Monsta X boys in particular, and Kyuhyun.
