Anna Klindt Sørensen (August 9, 1899 - 1985) was a Danish artist who attended Kunstskolen for Kvinder at the Royal Academy but quit in protest over an appointment of a new professor. She instead finished her education in Paris at various academies, including those of Fernand Léger and André Lhote.
Klindt Sørensen was an Expressionist, and a member of Decembristerne from 1942. She specialized in portraits and monumental landscape paintings inspired by Southern Europe. She campaigned eagerly for equality for women artists and wanted to create a women’s art museum in her villa in Ry - but failed...

Johanne Krebs (April 21, 1848 - 1924) was a Danish painter and women’s rights activist. She trained in Denmark and in Munich, and in the 1880s started agitating for women to be allowed entry into the Danish Royal Academy of Art. In 1888 the Danish Parliament created an Art school for women, affiliated with the Academy, and Krebs was appointed head of the school which she led until 1908 when it was fully fused with the Royal Academy.

Agnes Lunn (March 16, 1850 - 1941) was a Danish animal painter and sculptor. She trained with Otto Bache and as sculptor with Jean-Léon Gérôme in Paris - and when the Academy opened its school for women artists in Copenhagen she attended that for a couple of years.
Lunn spent many summers in Iceland, where horses (her favorite models along with cows) were abundant. She was also the godmother of C.L. David, who became a renowned art collector and patron and founded a stipend for sculptors in Lunn's honor.
