Back to the God AU!
Here's Kurt!
Kurt is the God of the Underground. As the patron of all illegal matters, he is a very shrewd and manipulative god - no deal goes down in his territory without him getting a cut out of it. In this regard, he is often compared with Suoh, the God of Blossoms and Thorns, but the flowery deity prefers not to associate with him.
He created the Underground, a vast network of secret hideouts and hidden roads where humans are free to conduct business as they please without interference from the other gods or law enforcement agencies - especially if that business can't necessarily be defined as "legal".
This entire crooked empire exists because of his influence, so of course he feels like he deserves a portion of the profits. As such, all those who dabble in the Underground are expected to offer him regular tributes in order to stay in his good graces. Everything he is depicted wearing is an example of such offerings: expensive furs, high end clothing, intricate jewelry, etc. In this aspect, he is often confused with Wakiya, the God of Wealth, much to the extravagant deity's chagrin.
If they miss a tribute, though, he calls on his associate:
Bisuke!
Bisuke is the God of Fear. As the patron of fright, he very much enjoys watching others squirm in terror, and will cause such a reaction any chance he gets.
His job is to remind humans of their mortality, to fear what could happen that would bring their lives to an end. To accomplish this task, he often shape shifts into his target's worst fear to terrify them.
He usually resides where fear is the most potent, but he mostly resides in the Underground. Those who utilize the Underground's safety to satisfy their desires are always drenched in fear - of being caught by authorities, or of falling out of favor with Kurt and losing his veil of secrecy. And if Kurt calls upon him to remind the humans of their place in his territory, Bisuke is more than happy to spread a little terror.

Beyblade Burst - Main Antagonist Introductions
Beyblade Burst has a series called Meet The Bladers, which goes through certain people in the series and describes them. It often includes scenes of the people themselves from episodes. This post is a collection of all the introductions of the main antagonist bladers who have been part of the Meet The Bladers series. Before that, a list of who I consider to be the main antagonists, listed per season.
Disc 1 refers to someone who takes the role until the true main antagonist comes along, whether as a rival, a minor villain, or any other role. An antagonist is not a villain and can even be an ally/friend of the protagonist that they battle.
As it is for bladers only, there was nothing of this kind for Theodore Glass. Weirdly, Arthur Peregrine doesn't have one despite being the overarching main antagonist of Rise/GT. Shu and Spryzen are listed on the same line as Spryzen possessed Shu and became the main blading antagonist alongside its blader.

Today, we're taking a look at one of the strongest teams in the world, America's Raging Bulls. Their owner, Theodore Glass, is always 5 steps ahead of the curve. (Free/Shu: Rip!) He cherry-picks (Fafnir: *Roars*) top talents to beef up (Spryzen: *Roars*) the Bulls roster. For instance, Japan's wonderkid, Shu Kurenai.
Raging Bulls Staff Member: He's won more matches than the two of you combined.
Then, Glass poached the world champion of Beyblade, Free de la Hoya.
Theodore: I've got very high hopes for your performance.
These days Glass has tapped up blockbuster movie star and Beyblade supernova to be the captain of the Bulls, the inimitable...
Joshua: Joshua. Heh. Joshua Burns.
Joshua: We're ready!
Word is, Joshua joined the Raging Bulls just to prove himself to Free. Free's kind of his idol.
Joshua: Wait! Free! I'm coming! We'll grab lunch! Do you eat lunch?!
And Joshua definitely has a reputation to uphold. He's one of the Big 5, the top bladers in the world. His bey, Blast Jinnius, is a defence type featuring two techniques loaded with star power. Cyclone Wall raises Jinnius during battle to keep it free from harm.

Then, it's curtains with Cyclone Counter. Jinnius' layer slams down on its opponent with a powerful show-stopping strike. Can Joshua take the Raging Bulls to the top of the box office?

• He is tall
• My GOD he is tall
• Not only is he Unreasonably Tall, he stands up perfectly straight and JUMPS UP IN THE AIR A LITTLE BIT to launch his beyblade. How is the repeated impact of hitting the ground again and again from that height not causing wear-and-tear on Kukulcan? I know beys are literally made to bash into eachother Aggressively and not break, but still. The Aggressive Bashing Into Other Spintops AND the unreasonable skyscraper launch combined seems like it should like...crack the tip or something?
• I can't believe Kurz is as tall as he is and he has his hair styled Stuck Straight Up to give the illusion that he is EVEN TALLER lmfao the sheer amount of Height Intimidation
• Fucking love the pink face paint trend amongst the entire clan of his sewer clowns. I bet Kurz is the one who started that trend.
• I admire everything about Kurz's style actually he is GARISH and BOLD and FANTASTIC
• He's glittery, apparently? Whenever he flicks his earring, little multicoloured sparkles come off it. I don't doubt it, he absolutely seems like someone who would be wearing a bunch of glitter.
• Kurz MIGHT be able to affect the weather? When he fought Valt in that one tournament in God, the sky outside very suddenly changed and there was unnatural bright blue lightning in the storm clouds. Kukulcan does blue lightning. There is absolutely a nonzero chance that Kurz used his Bey Magic to fuck up the weather for dramatic effect and that is terrifying [awestruck]
Fantastic, amazing, showstopping, superb. Everything about Kurz is completely perfect and I love him. I think Kurz Baratier should dethrone God and take his place.

Burst theory: The reason “blond with red highlights” is a popular hairstyle in the Burst universe
So Kurt Baratier was world champion before going underground. His hair is clearly not blond and red, but
Ghasem’s is. Now, the sewer clowns have a very particular asthetic, and I believe that Kurt’s current look comes from them. But when he was world champion, Kurt’s hair was probably blond and red, and other bladers looked up to him. Ghasem being an example (which explains why their designs are so similar. Ghasem is cosplaying as pre-clown Kurt)
Zac is another example. Now, Kurt’s popularity decreased ever since he quit and joined the clowns, but Zac had already adopted the style. Zac fans started associating the dual hair color with Zac more than with Kurt, so Zac kept the style
Free probably took directly after Kurt as well
Ichika most likely took after Free, since she and Fumiya are big Free fans. It’s possible she might be a Zac fan, but given the time skips it’s safe to say she didn’t adopt this style because of Kurt (and Ghasem doesn’t have enough of a following)

Berlin (ots) – Dreizehn europäische Radio-, Film-, Fernseh- und Internetprogramme sind am Donnerstagabend im Auswärtigen Amt in Berlin mit dem renommierten CIVIS Medienpreis für Migration, Integration und kulturelle Vielfalt in Europa ausgezeichnet worden. Am Wettbewerb 2017 nahmen insgesamt 783 Programme aus 24 EU-Staaten und der Schweiz teil.
Die festliche Preisverleihung und TV-Gala wird in der ARD/Das Erste und in mehreren europäischen Fernsehprogrammen übertragen (siehe Sendetermine).
Bundespräsident Frank-Walter Steinmeier, der Präsident des Europäischen Parlaments, Antonio Tajani, und Bundesaußenminister Sigmar Gabriel sind Schirmherren des CIVIS Medienpreises 2017.

Mit dem CIVIS Medienpreis 2017 wurden Programme von ARD, BR, Deutschlandradio, France Télévisions, HR, MDR, NDR, RAI 3, SRF, WDR und der Hamburg Media School prämiert. Die Preise sind dotiert. The Quarter-Finals! -> (Free vs. Shu. vs. Lui vs. Boa [IBC: Quarter-Final -> Free (6) = Shu (6) > Lui (5) > Boa (2)]**) -> {Lúinor debuts, Boa tells Valt that Theodore is Ashtem and that the tournament was made to perfect Spryzen Requiem in order to eventually sell it and Shu off as a living weapon to a mysterious partner from a bey club called Inferno (its Arthur Peregrine), Boa reminisces about how he made it past being an ordinary Snake Pit background member to one of the world's best through sheer willpower, Lúinor ringing out Fafnir in the first round of the 3-round battle causes Lui to start showing signs of overconfidence, Boa/Balkesh manage the previously unthinkable to burst Spryzen in the first round, Free remembers his previous defeat to Lui which made him decide to take training seriously again, Free uses his full power for the first time but begins to show signs of pushing himself too hard, Free creates a new move called Nothing Break, Free gets his revenge on Lui and reclaims his title of world's best blader, Spryzen shatters Lúinor, Free/Shu qualify for the semi-finals, Lui meets Lúinor for the first time though Lúinor is bisected, Lui discovers how fun battling an opponent on his level is, Lúinor shares one of Lui's iconic laughs before finally dying, Lui tells Lúinor that he's proud of it for how bravely and hard it fought, Shu insults Lui's skill ticking him off and prompting him to swear to give Shu the beating Lui believes he deserves}

Battle of Destiny! -> (Norman defeats Shu [Flashback], Lui loses to Tess [Flashback], Valt loses to Kurt [Flashback], Kurt vs. Norman vs. Tess vs. Valt [IBC: Quarter-Final -> Valt (5) > Kurt (4) > Norman (3) = Tess (3)]***) -> {Kurt rallies his followers to support his charge to prove that he is still the greatest blader, Tess saves Norman from Theodore's wrath, Norman ponders why Tess/Valt get under his skin so much, the mental shells of Kurt/Tess both begin to crack after the first round, Kurt uses his full power for the first time during the second round, Kurt throws Valtryek's performance tip to Valt instead of trying to crush it signalling a moral change for the better after the second round, Kurt declares that Valt has earned his full attention and respect as the former world champion, seeing even the formerly stone-cold Kurt develop a soft spot for Valt makes Tess seriously rethink her stance on him, Tess realises Valt is a genuinely good friend to Shu and the others during the third round, Valt and Tess reconcile with Tess telling Valt that he's the only one who can help Shu save himself, Norman remembers when Boa left Snake Pit and resolves to do the same, Tess leaves Raging Bulls, Valtryek reaches its ultimate potential against Orichalcum in the third round, Valt/Kurt qualify for the semi-finals, Free handpicks Valt to be his semi-final opponent}

Note: 5 of my OCs in chronological order of meeting C.J.S. after his 'being able to be himself' revelation over the course of a few months - the stoic bodyguard-in-training Esmeralda Petersburg, the disciplinarian Tess Dileva, the poetic Kirumi Silkenstar (introduced in later season), the spunky wannabe witch Karaina Caulton (introduced in later season) & the highly introverted loner Suki Ryushima - are derived from and inspired by existing OCs found on (y/n) x yandere quizzes on Quotev that I took a liking to thanks to the story/characters/detail/etc., like how much of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is inspired by Western songs. This includes their personalities. I took 5 such quizzes honestly answering the questions posed based on my personality and that of Clarkov J. Sahaidachny, my first and main OC, which are very similar in most ways but very different in some areas. These 5 were the results. As for the dere sides, they start out full on and become more mentally sound as time goes on. That part is inspired by the development of Mizore Shirayuki in Rosario + Vampire. It's how I have to do almost everything in life. Start out with a base, then slowly build it into my own thing. It's a bit annoying, but I make do with what I have. The early second half of that one random comparison tournament thing I'm doing because I can. Nothing more needs to be said. I still think the fact that Phi and Hyde don't have a known surname looks off compared to all the others.
This is used in the event of all the peeps having the original beys. Mainly because Hasbro beys are about as appealing as Sage hentai, and also because on Hasbro beys, the hax don't exist.

My Personal Burst Rankings
Each season, the ranking of best to worst blader seen shifts as the standards increase with time and new bladers join. This is my opinion on the ranking of the top 10 bladers for each season.
This is on overall, and not just raw power. If it were just power, Kurt would likely be in first or second for Evolution, as Raul stated that there was no bey in the world at that point that could beat Khalzar in raw strength. These lists can include the same blader with different beys. Master Dragon isn't counted as it is the combination of two separate beys.
Hyde was better than Phi, but due to Phoenix absorbing Hades' power, Hyde lost. Phi then became better by fusing Revive Phoenix and Dread Hades into one bey.
As for Rise, Dante's first win against Arthur was by sheer luck, but then Dragon fully awakened and I'd say Dante/Dragon surpassed Arthur/Apocalypse then. Arman's win was awesome but it was little more than a fluke to me. It's the same situation as with Kurt, Arthur has more raw power than Dante or Delta, but raw power alone doesn't mean one is overall better. Interestingly Arthur was never beaten properly in a one on one with the Eclipse Armour by Delta. Delta got the upper hand once but each time Arthur lost was either to Dante or to a Dante/Delta tag-team.
Also, Hikaru and Hyuga are better solo than they get credit for. Oh, and Valt somehow easily breaking Lain's barrier was an ass pull with both Valt and Lain pulling out major plot armour. The Valt/Shu battle was a load of balls too. How Valt managed to beat the one guy who handed Vex Lucius's back end to it I'll never know. Aiger, the world champion and therefore better at the time, had to work much harder to beat Lain, and he wasn't even at his best due to Achilles' different modes. Weirdly, Dragon overpowered Achilles in one battle but the strain was too much and it ended up causing itself to burst, that's why my Surge list has Dante above Aiger and Aiger above Valt.)
QuadDrive is difficult because Rashad is never really seen battling with Regnar at full tilt due to bonding/resonance as it was damaged in a battle with Belfyre. That's why Ultimate Valtryek won so well against Regnar, because it was damaged. A full circle thing from when Salvage Valtryek broke because it was damaged. So Rashad/Regnar at their best without any damage to Regnar is what is used for the appropriate list.
If you ask me, it goes like this: Dragon (Awakened) > Apocalypse (Eclipse Armour) > Apocalypse >= Dragon (Partially Awakened) > Dragon.
I should point out that Destined Belfyre is basically just the Ultimate Gear version of Divine Belfyre. All lists can contain bladers from a previous season.
